We're talking everything from Mick Fleetwood doppelgängers to the impact of Rick Vito's undeniable charisma on Reverend's storied history. As we look back at our shared adventures, we also drop hints about the exciting collaborations that are brewing on the horizon. It's a harmony of humor and heart as we navigate the rich tapestry of the music industry together.Strap in as we set the stage with tales from the buzzing corridors of the NAMM show, where the music community converges in a symphony of networking, product launches, and advocacy for music education. Ken and I get real about the highs and lows of industry events, including the joys of reuniting with old pals and the infamous 'NAMMthrax' that can follow. We share a candid reflection on the costs of participation, the rise of public guitar shows, and the fresh wave of young talent that's striking a chord in the guitar world. This episode is an ode to the electric energy that fuels our passion for music and the connections that keep the industry pulsing.Wrapping up, we tune into the nuances of musicians' gear habits, debating why one might hoard guitars but skimp on amps. From the nitty-gritty of touring logistics to the sonic shifts in concert formats, we explore the rhythms that shape a musician's life on and off the stage. Whether it's the raw power of a live guitar riff or the collaborative groove of my band, KMT, we celebrate the magic of musical connections and the timeless pull of the six-string. Prepare for an episode that strums the heartstrings and resonates with the soul of every music lover.FishmanDedicated to helping musicians achieve the truest sound possible whenever they plug-in. Welcome, music aficionados and guitar enthusiasts, to the Steve Stine Podcast. In today's episode, you're in for a treat as we dive into the world of guitar innovation, music evolution, and the personal journey of one of metal's passionate craftsmen, Guilherme Miranda. As your host, I couldn't be more thrilled to share this exclusive interview with you. After months of meticulous work, Guilherme unveils a ground-breaking technology with neuroamp modelers and impulse responses. This incredible innovation mirrors the authenticity of guitar heads, recreating the sounds with an astonishing natural feel. As Guilherme and I dissect the simplicity yet profound effectiveness of this new tool, it's clear how it's set to revolutionize the way musicians approach their craft. Not only do we talk tech, but we also step into Guilherme's world. From the strings of his guitar to the joy of playing FIFA, Guilherme opens up about his life beyond the riffs. Delve deep into the origins of his metal journey, the raw emotion of stepping away from music, and the spontaneous leap into becoming the vocalist for the band Krow. His deep voice and death metal inspirations have left an indelible mark on the genre and continue to drive his current work. But it's not just about the music; Guilherme's story is one of resilience and versatility. From facing personal challenges to upholding the creative spark during a global pandemic, his narrative is as compelling as the chords he strikes. He shares his experience joining Entombed A.D., his stint with David Ellefson, and his contributions to the metal community that resonate across borders. We'll also discuss the appeal of Dean guitars, uncover Guilherme's arsenal of gear, and discuss the integration of music into every sphere of life. We urge every musician to perfect not just their instrument but the entire spectrum of songwriting, singing, and performing. As we round out our conversation, Guilherme gives us a glimpse into his musical influences, from jazz to blues, and the dynamic approach to his new band, Dieth. His reflections on songwriting and performance enlighten our understanding of what it takes to be an artist who's true to their sound while embracing evolution. So, plug in and tune up for an episode packed with insight, innovation, and inspiration. Brian, Blake, and Richard are back for an all-new episode of the Chasing Tone Podcast! There is some prime guitar related content, allegedly, as the guys look at a recent moment of controversy involving a guitar learning tool and Richard makes a shocking personal revelation or two. Brian, on the other hand, has been arguing with machines. It is exactly as moronic as it sounds. Blake tries to inject some sensibility back into the conversation with limited success. Blake wears two different hats, and reminds us he doesn't like one of the bestselling pedals of all time. Brian fires Richard on air before backing down and reaching an agreement about the best way to learn the guitar. Richard nearly knows all the chords and Brian mocks British bands of the 1990's. Some footage of Mr Oliver playing drums with Andy Wood has been leaked to the internet. How do you feel about music while you eat? Blake has views and the guys chat about the pros and cons while Richard mentions a recent story involving a world famous producer and the loudness of a DJ , and Blake demonstrates his ability to deliver the worst Mick Jagger vocal impersonation ever. Brian has invented a new club for dullards, and Richard has found a new amp to GAS over from the boffins at ENGL. Ai Batman reads the credits. Distorto-distortion,  Rocksmith. Queen of S-Mountain podcast presents GEAR TIME LIVE, a music gear gameshow where nothing is live and everyone wins except mansplaining dudebros. How much is Tom DeLonge (of Blink-182) charging for his signature Fender Strat? Are there amps that can kill you? Is there such thing as a perfect fuzz pedal? In this episode, Kel-O-Watt of Wattever Audio tries to defend their title as champion, Hilary B. Jones of MidRiff Podcast is out for blood, LG of Thelma and the Sleaze finds the best fuzz pedal so far, and Colleen Fazio of Fazio Electric shows off her Lap Steel Guitar. Gear Time Live is sponsored by Reverb, an online music gear selling community for all musicians everywhere, and by EarthQuaker Devices, an elite effects pedal company nestled in the heart of Akron, Ohio aka America's Shirt Pocket.
