It is alleged, Hunter Biden, the surviving son of the President, dropped off a laptop at a computer store to be repaired, and emails and photos were discovered on it, some involving his father. The pictures are claimed to show Biden Jnr smoking crack and taking part in various sex acts, some of the pictures have been claimed to even capture abuse. But it was the trove of emails which political manipulators considered to be most damaging to the Democrats and Joe Biden; fervent denials were made that Biden ever spoke to his son about his business dealings with Ukraine businessmen, something it is claimed now to be known to be untrue, with the evidence provided in emails. The news was reported on in The New York post, after the technician involved in the computer repair cloned the harddrive (a standard procedure in computer repair), discovered the material on the original drive, copied the drive and then sent it to the then Presidents' legal mind, Rudi Guilliani. The alleged smoking-gun email The Post claims is contained in an email and details Hunter Biden setting up a meeting between his father and a Ukrainian energy firm executive. Hunter Biden was paid by the firm a finders' fee, of sorts. With current media being polarised and driven by clicks and ads, the whole conspiracy has become something of a behemoth, with people making their decision of which side of the fence they are on largely on their political inclinations; the provenance of the Post's story has even been called into question. In this solo show, Ed Opperman details his ongoing investigations into the affair, being one of the few investigators to have covered this story periodically over the last few years with facts and insight, despite efforts by powerful hands to discourage his efforts.0:00Change progress1:03:51Pearse Redmond Interviews Ed Opperman : Hunter Biden Laptop DramaFeb 23, 2021Pearse Redmond Interviews Ed Opperman : Hunter Biden Laptop Drama 3yi've listened to this ep and the true anon ep and every time i hear it i just get more confused. Lucifer's Banker: The Untold Story of How I Destroyed Swiss Bank SecrecyAs a private banker working for the largest bank in the world, UBS, Bradley Birkenfeld was an expert in Switzerland's shell-game of offshore companies and secret numbered accounts. He wined and dined ultrawealthy clients whose millions of dollars were hidden away from business partners, spouses, and tax authorities. As his client list grew, Birkenfeld lived a life of money, fast cars, and beautiful women, but when he discovered that UBS was planning to betray him, he blew the whistle to the US Government. The Department of Justice scorned Birkenfeld's unprecedented whistle-blowing and attempted to silence him with a conspiracy charge. Yet Birkenfeld would not be intimidated. He took his secrets to the US Senate, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Internal Revenue Service, where he prevailed. His bombshell revelations helped the US Treasury recover over $15 billion (and counting) in back taxes, fines, and penalties from American tax cheats. But Birkenfeld was shocked to discover that at the same time he was cooperating with the US Government, the Department of Justice was still doggedly pursuing him. He was arrested and served thirty months in federal prison. When he emerged, the Internal Revenue Service gave him a whistle-blower award for $104 million, the largest such reward in history. A page-turning real-life thriller, Lucifer's Banker is a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the secret Swiss high-net worth banking industry and a harrowing account of our government's justice system. Readers will follow Birkenfeld and share his outrage with the incompetence and possible corruption at the Department of Justice, and they will cheer him on as he ''hammers'' one of the most well-known and powerful banks in the world.0:00Change progress50:51Alan R. "Dracula the Damned" is a 1960 British supernatural horror film produced by Hammer Film Productions starring ‘Big' Christopher Lee… Scratch that…Rather, the original sequel to the first Hammer Dracula film was cancelled without explanation, although Christopher Lee's decision not to return due to fear of typecasting probably led to The Brides of Dracula taking its place. #BigChrisLee did return five years later, however, when he starred in Dracula, Prince of Darkness. The Brides of Dracula is a 1960 British supernatural horror film produced by Hammer Film Productions. Directed by Terence Fisher, the film stars Peter Cushing, David Peel (who wore lifts in his shoes to make him the same height as actor Peter Cushing in the film. Peel, according to his bio at the time, was 5 foot 10. Cushing was six feet tall. To make his vampire look distinguishable from Christopher Lee's, Peel wore a full blonde hairpiece), Yvonne Monlaur, Andrée Melly, Miles Malleson (the hearse driver in the Ealing chiller compendium Dead of Night), Martita Hunt (known for her rich cluster of queens, dowagers, shrews, and evildoers—but it was her brilliant performance as the mad, reclusive Miss Havisham in the classic Great Expectations that earned her international recognition), and Freda Jackson (also an alumna of Great Expectations). Although, the character of Count Dracula does not appear in the film, and is instead mentioned only twice. After the success of Dracula, Hammer commissioned Jimmy Sangster to write a sequel titled Disciple of Dracula, about an acolyte of the vampire, with Count Dracula himself only making a cameo appearance. Sangster's script was rewritten by Peter Bryan to remove references to Dracula, while adding the character of Van Helsing. The screenplay was then further revised by Edward Percy. Filming began on January 16, 1960, at Bray Studios, and the film premiered at the Odeon Marble Arch on July 6. It was distributed theatrically on a double bill with The Leech Woman. The ending was originally planned to have the vampires destroyed by a swarm of bats, but this proved too expensive to stage and shoot, and was also vetoed by Peter Cushing, who did not think his character would perform the black magic required to summon the bats. However, the idea was recycled three years later for the climax of Hammer's The Kiss of the Vampire. The prop department put a lot of effort into making a realistic model bat, but it was lost and had to be replaced on short notice. This explains the unconvincing model bat in the movie. The front doors of Oakely Court served as the main entrance to Meinster Castle. Oakley Court has been featured in a number of classic horror films, including The Curse of Frankenstein, The Horror of Dracula, The Evil of Frankenstein, Die, Monster, Die, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$£$Just in case anyone has too much money and wants to give a bit to us to help with our hosting n stuff. This week we continue our series of Greatest Tips with Dave Anderson, Frank Genobile,  Jason Harris, David Peel and Chris Wiseman. If you are looking to progress your career, improve your marketing, make your business a success or be a better manager, then this episode is definitely for you. Here are the highlights: {01:25} Chris Wiseman {02:15} David Peel {04:48} Jason Harris {07:46} Dave Anderson {11:09} Frank Genobile About Symco Training: Symco Training was founded in 2000 by Simon Bowkett and it was his belief that the business had to offer its clients something different. That difference was clear to Simon from his days in the dealership when he experienced many sales trainers who had all the answers, but were unable, unwilling or both to actually show the delegate how they could be implemented. It remains the ethos of the business today. You see, Symco only employ trainers that are committed to delivering not only in spiring and insightful training, but are equally as happy to demonstrate these skills and techniques with real customers in your own showroom. We believe in order for sales training to be effective and in Simon's words ‘real world', it needs to be tried and tested in the only place it matters the showroom floor. There is no room for theory when your goals are for your team to sell more cars, hours or parts and retain more profit. In dealerships around the world the focus applied by many of the sales executives is to try and sell a deal. Symco specialise in getting your teams to focus on selling themselves, the product and then supporting this with the deal. To find out more visit: www.symcotraining.co.uk

Indeed, can we - past Freud/Jung (psyche), load, and our sensual experience abiding its edge - locate it quite (or is it quite there at all)? You might like this little slice of relatively well-recorded tomfoolery recorded live at the famous Fillmore East in 1971. What a night it must have been. Anyhow, it really depends on which mix you like better. Lennon and Ono or Frank Zappa. To me, Some Time In New York City sounds pretty muddy. I like this album because it has (to my knowledge) none of Zappa's Xenechrony. It's all raw, but if you really pay attention, these Mothers were pretty tight.  Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention - Well  Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention - Say Please Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention - Aaawk (I love Yoko's ferocious "aaawk" squeals...like she's repeatedly being shoved underwater.) Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention - Scumbag Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention - A Small Eternity With Yoko Ono  Willie Dickson and The Playboys - Licking Stick (1969) Andrea True Connection - More, More, More (1976) Instrumental version sounds almost like a run-through. Especially that bass. I like it.  Collective Consciousness Society CCS - Whole Lotta Love (1971) Discogs: CCS (Collective Consciousness Society) was a British group formed by bluesman Alexis Korner and Danish vocalist Peter Thorup. The band itself also consisted of different studio casts who would be around but also included Tony Carr (drums), Herbie Flowers (bass), Harold Beckett (trumpet), Harold McNair (woodwind), and Henry Lowther (trumpet), among others. This wasn't all, as they were going for a unique sound to rival the top Rock acts of the day. So they would grab the creme de la creme of jazz studio musicians of the time. The entire lineup would always be subject to change throughout the band's history, depending on personnel availability at recordings. Desmond Dekker and the Aces - Licking Stick (1971) David Peel and the Lower East Side - The Ballad of New York City - John Lennon / Yoko Ono (1972) Elephant's Memory - Local Plastic Ono Band (1972)  George Torrence and the Naturals - (Mama, Come Quick, And Bring Your) Lickin' Stick (1968) Note the composer.  James Brown - Licking Stick, Licking Stick (1968) Now, the same song, re-written by James Brown.  Rusty Garnett - Licking Stick, Licking Stick (196?)  Tenth Hour - Lickin Stick (1975) This beat Shazam! Credited to Charles Manley and George Torrence.  The United States Air Force Band featuring The Free Design – "The Now Sound Of Christmas" (1968) These are all live recordings, and some have never been released on Free Design albums. ESPECIALLY the song "Shepherds and Wisemen" which, to my ears, is very good. A hidden gem.  The Proper Ornaments/Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence/Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer/Close Your Mouth (It's Christmas)/Christmas Is The Day/Winter Wonderland/Shepherds and Wise Men/Reprise-The Now Sound of Christmas. It would be so nice to hear this on a big FM radio console in a living room.  Jimmy Castor Bunch (featuring the Everything Man) - Supersound (1975) I love this.

"...there is a danger in the show because the band is on the brink" is Sully's line toward the end of episode 5.  The discussion is the immediacy and the danger of frontmen like Iggy Pop, Jim Morrison, and Axl Rose creating an unpredictability for both their audience and their aforementioned bands.  While choreographed and practiced shows like U2, Marilyn Manson, and Nine Inch Nails provide a safe "arena" which plays out like performance art.  Can virtuosity lend its' self to immediacy?  Is there danger when it is well rehearsed?  What's the difference?  What's the affect on the audience?  When 76 year old Mick Jagger first walked out on stage at Soldier Field in Chicago after heart surgery there was real danger. It was not a  manufactured moment.  Jagger could have dropped dead.  Sully and Jason, both Stones fans, were there to recount the 2019 concert moment.  This episode also has an interview with Don Letts who is responsible for the reggae influence in UK punk as well as being a film maker and member of Mick Jones' post Clash band, Big Audio Dynamite. Don recounts what led him to becoming a champion of punk and why he got behind the camera.  Sully gives New York's very own David Peel the honors of first infusing reggae into rock with his band the Lower Eastside and their song, I want to kill you in 1966/70.  Songs in this episode and songs that should have made it:immigrant song, it's so easy, my michelle, I want to kill you, king of punk, the pope smokes dope, open the gate, no fun, loose, penetration, t.v. eye, search and destroy, add it up, promise, gimme the car, top floor bottom buzzer, women r dogs, the story of an artist, no more pushing joe around, wolves at the door, hard to be, I go wild, suck on the jugular, day 3, fated faithful fatal, fall of the house of death, march of the pigs, discipline, shit mirror, the bottomline, the globe

Master and disciple come to verbal blows: Weberman calls Dylan a fucking capitalist, and Dylan tauntingly asks who writes better songs than him, making up bullshit lyrics on the spot to fuck with Weberman, who sneers at Dylan "what are you, a weatherman?" (Bob has a lyric or two about rain.) Once again, any and all readings from the work of Weberman are set to instrumental music from throughout Dylan's career, with his quotes from the songs of Dylan illustrated by pertinent clips.

It’s the end of 1971 and John and Yoko have truly made New York City their home. Newfound neighbors such as self-proclaimed dirty hippy David Peel and fellow cyclist Bob Dylan were helping the couple fit right in to the big apple (pun) lifestyle. But it was their new friends in the radical community such as Jerry Rubin who were making the biggest impression on the politically outspoken Lennons. Tangible success at last befell the couple in the cause of the imprisoned MC5 manager John Sinclair, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for attempting to give two joints to an undercover police officer two years earlier. Following a rally headlined by John and Yoko, who penned a new song for the occasion, Sinclair was released from prison and New York’s newest residents found themselves emboldened to use their celebrity for similarly targeted causes. From the plight of the Irish to the women’s liberation movement, John and Yoko made their voices heard...but it was the tragedy of Attica State which would spark the most heated debate between the former Beatle and his new neighbors. One cause the couple was no longer ready to fight for? The conflict with Paul McCartney. At last a reconciliation between the most influential songwriting duo of the 20th century was reached, but by the end of 1971 the last thing on the minds of John, Paul, George and Ringo was a reunion. Political activism, starring film roles, unlikely success and new bands were just the tip of the iceberg for the rest of the 1970’s to come... Today on Hempresent Vivian is joined by American poet, writer and radio maker, John Sinclair. John made incalculable contributions to cannabis legalization and is celebrated as a heroic icon of American counterculture and of cannabis activism in particular. After he was arrested for giving two joints to an undercover narcotics officer in 1969 he was sentenced to the unusual punishment of 10 years for mere possession. John's arrest and cruel sentence sparked the landmark 'Free John Now Rally' held in Ann Arbour, December 1971. Due to the continued pressure to release John, by his friends on the outside and his own campaigning, a huge event was planned to include John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Stevie Wonder, David Peel, Pete Seeger, Allen Ginsberg, Abbie Hoffmann, Jerry Rubin, and others. John Lennon recorded and dedicated the song "John Sinclair" to the cause, and included it on his album 'Some Time in New York City' (1972).

This week Jared sits down with David Peel of "Extreme Outdoors" at the 2017 NWTF convention in Nashville. David recently licensed one of his patents to Knight and Hale game calls to use on their new call, "The Switchblade". He is an engineer by trade, and has used a lot of that knowledge to come up with some innovative products to use while out hunting (many of which we use ourselves). David and Jared talk turkey hunting, the outdoors industry, and a little life in general. Make sure you check David out at http://reengineeringthehunt.com/.
