Ed Sheeran BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Ed Sheeran has had an explosive few days at the intersection of pop culture and music business. According to People magazine and recent coverage by the Hindustan Times and Moneycontrol Ed is in the best shape of his life these days after a yearlong fitness and weight loss journey with the aim of getting six pack abs he's never had he told Andy Cohen on Sirius XM that after shedding fourteen pounds he's pushing as hard in the gym as he does on stage. The week's biggest headline though is the final chapter of Ed's three year global + – = ÷ x tour which he confirmed via Instagram would end in September 2025 in Düsseldorf Germany as reported by XS Noize. The massive run began in 2022 and is now wrapping up with major stadium dates across Europe including Madrid Rome and Stockholm and, notably, new markets in Eastern Europe where last year he sold sixty thousand tickets in Sofia Bulgaria, as discussed by Pollstar, marking a significant industry moment. Ed's now the rare British act matching the commercial weight of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour with MetLife Stadium grossing over eighteen million in two nights and the UK still his biggest market. Business has also been in the news with Ed making the list of top 100 British taxpayers according to AOL sharing financial bracket space with heavyweights like J K Rowling. On the public appearance front, iHeartRadio and Associated Press confirm Ed headlines the 2025 Jingle Ball tour lineup with stops in Los Angeles New York Miami and beyond alongside acts like BigXthaPlug Nelly and Renee Rapp, making Ed's holiday exposure inescapable. The Madison Square Garden show in December will be nationally televised in the US. Social media buzz soared again after Taylor Swift's Hits Radio UK interview where she nearly confirmed Ed will perform at her impending wedding to Travis Kelce scheduled after their August 26 engagement, stating it would be hard to keep Ed off the stage. This has set Swiftie and Sheerio fan circles alight on X and Instagram with viral speculation over what they might sing.Rounding things out Ed has denied rumors of a move to the US, telling The Business Standard that he remains rooted in the UK despite tabloid whispers. Ticket giveaways for his just-announced 2026 show in Philadelphia are keeping fans tuning into radio contests and swarming trusted ticketing platforms. Beyond pure music, Ed is leveraging global partnerships, most recently with Japan's Toei Oedo subway line for a special event and merchandise drop, bubbling up across entertainment news feeds in Asia. There are no indications of any new albums at this moment, but with Ed wrapping a definitive world tour and making headlines from health and business to headline weddings, his late 2025 is more than a victory lap—it is the moment he cements his orbit in both the heart of music and the wider public consciousness.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

In this episode, I take you on my most unpleasant thrift and travel journey since leaving the US in 2023. I have been setting on this one because it has taken me some time to process why I had such a hard time in such a beautiful country. Hint, mostly had to do with location (and the extreme smoking culture). I also detail the historical sites and vintage / thrift shops I found worth visiting and why. So don't worry, if you want to check out the city, there are some gems to save for your trip planning. Will I go back and try again? Should I? You tell me. Leave a comment about what I got wrong (or right) about Sofia. Māyā gives combinations and permutations of apparent enjoyment to every soul to exhaust that person's idea that "I can enjoy separately from Kṛṣṇa." Queen Kuntī says: 'janmaiśvarya-śruta-śrībhir edhamāna-madaḥ pumān naivārhaty abhidhātuṁ vai tvām akiñcana-gocaram (SB 1.8.26).' We should be very, very humble, because Māyā can sneak into our lives at any time, and one of the ways she sneaks in is through the door of pride. There are some attitudes that we can be very careful about and avoid, like "My preaching is better than everybody else's," or "In general, I'm just better than other people," and become proud. Another one is, "I'm liberated. Why am I liberated? I'm in ISKCON. I'm initiated. I'm beautiful. I'm smart. I'm a Brahmin." I may also justify cheating: "Although there are these principles, I've been here a long time, I've seen many things. Give me a break. I know these things, and I am okay. I'm liberated, I'm entitled." So pride opens the door for Māyā, and then justification allows her to stay inside. It's like, "It's okay, because I'm liberated. It doesn't matter. Who are these people? Mangal Arti, going 16 rounds. Who do they think they are? I know everything. And laxity—being lazy, lazy about following the regulative principles, not strict. Here's a way to close the door on Māyā: "I am not liberated." Say that, "I'm not liberated." "I am a servant of the servant of the servant a million times removed." Prabhupāda says, "When you think, 'I'm the servant of the servant of the servant of the servant, a million times removed,' then you're liberated." But always say, "I'm not liberated." Always say, "I'm not liberated." And also, we shouldn't justify, and don't be lazy. Be careful. Prabhupāda says that besides practicing the rules and regulations in devotional service, you should also be careful. And we should also fortify ourselves by very strong sādhana. Prabhupāda writes in the Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta that if we don't read all the books, then we'll fall down. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose
Laurent remembers vividly his trip to Sofia Bulgaria in winter 2009 when the Russian had cut the gas for Bulgaria during a -15C winter. Russia was already playing hard ball because of (guess what) a financial disagreement with Ukraine. The blackmail lasted 3 weeks, and the poor Bulgarians were cutting the trees from their equivalent of Hyde Park or Central Park not to freeze to death. Lots of progress has been made since then, and Eastern Europe is an emerging bright spot of development for Renewables. It is not just about Economics but also about Security of Supply. We bring in Dimitar Enchev, Cofounder & CEO Europe at CWP - a global renewable energy company, behind some of the largest projects in Southeast Europe. CWP has been active since 2007 and developed the largest projects in Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, including Europe's largest onshore wind farm for 10 years – a 600MW project in Romania and has now partnered with Mercuria, one of the largest energy trading houses in the world. They discuss how Eastern Europe felt the largest blunt of Russia's Energy War and how they have been accustomed to living, surviving and thriving with a hostile and aggressive neighbour, always prompt to weaponize energy. Is Europe “bringing a knife to a gunfight” when it comes to countering Russia? We explain how opportunities have risen from this difficult environment and how the decorrelation of wind and solar between the East and West of the Continent, and a continuous integration with the global European Grid creates significant investment opportunities. It is about Transmission, Resilience, Hybridization and digitization.
Student: How did you find your path? Did you do something else before, right? Vaisesika Dasa: Well, I got involved in this when I was around 16. Student: Oh, that's pretty early. Vaisesika Dasa: I became a monk when I was 16. From the time I was born, I had a curiosity about what life was, why I was here in the world, and why I had to die, things like that. Student:Okay Vaisesika Dasa: But in high school, I came into this Bhagavad Gita and other spiritual knowledge. My teacher is from the tradition of Bhagavad Gita. You know Bhagavad Gita? Bhagavad Gita is from India. It's where yoga comes from, meditation. Teaches that the body's like a machine, but the consciousness, the soul inside, is the driver. ----------------------------------------------------------- To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose
Chanting the holy name, dancing in ecstasy, singing, and playing musical instruments, the spiritual master is always gladdened by the sankirtana movement of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Because he is relishing the mellows of pure devotion within his mind, sometimes his hair stands on end, he feels quivering in his body, and tears flow from his eyes like waves. I offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of such a spiritual master. This morning, I was listening to Prabhupada, and he was talking about how there are different kinds of liberated souls: "muktānām api siddhānāṁ nārāyaṇa-parāyaṇaḥ su-durlabhaḥ praśāntātmā koṭiṣv api mahā-mune (SB 6.14.5).' There are millions and millions of sages and different kinds of people who have achieved liberation through knowledge. They've seen the impersonal Brahman and Paramatma. But it's the most rare that someone can understand Bhagavan -Kṛṣṇa. And it's only by association with pure devotees, He said, that only by understanding Bhagavan is there Ananda. When you have that relationship, you know you have a relationship. And then Prabhupada named the different relationships you could have: as a parent, as a lover, as a friend, as a servitor. Then he started saying, you could be the water in Vrindavan. And he was talking about how, once you have that relationship, then that ānanda is unlimited. It's not like, he said, in the material world, we think ānanda comes from some temporary pleasure, but that, he said, only lasts for a few minutes. So intelligent people, 'ye hi saṁsparśajā bhogā' they don't appreciate it at all. The sages, he said: 'ramante yogino 'nante satyānande cid-ātmani iti rāma-padenāsau paraṁ brahmābhidhīyate (CC Madhya 9.29).' That those who understand that real pleasure comes from Rama, association with Kṛṣṇa, that's the real happiness, and they don't need anything else. Once they taste that ānanda of Kṛṣṇa, then every other kind of pleasure is insignificant for them. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

Sofia, Bulgaria. It's the capital of one of Europe's poorest countries, a country that spent decades behind the iron curtain, a country after which the Bulgarian Split Squat is named, and a country that wants you to visit it. Jane and Chris go on tour in this episode of Copyright Waffle, speaking to Tania Todorova, Professor of Library Sciences at the University of Library Sciences and Information Technologies in Sofia Bulgaria. In 2013 Tania created the copyright literacy survey to research how much librarians and those working in cultural heritage understand about copyright. The survey has subsequently been run in over 14 countries around the world and we maintain a list of publications on the International Copyright Literacy Survey webpage. We ran the survey in the UK in 2014 and published our findings in 2015 in the journal Library and Information Research. Tania invited Jane and Chris to Sofia in May of 2022 to speak to partners in the DeCRIS project which is an ERASMUS funded project exploring Digital Education in Times of Crisis and the role of OERs. Partners in this project attending the meeting were mainly library science educators from Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Spain. We were attending the second project multiplier event. Jenna Hartel from University of Toronto also presented at the multiplier event – she has made a series of videos for library educators that she's put on her INFIDEOS YouTube channel. She had a sabbatical to create these 45 videos in place of writing a book or a chapter. Tania is also on the organising committee of the BOBCATSSS conference which we presented at in January 2020. This is an annual conference for library students and LIS educators. In this episode Jane and Chris also discuss the Jisc OER programme which ran from 2009-2012.
