Cristiano Ronaldo BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Cristiano Ronaldo is once again at the center of football headlines as the Portuguese icon nears the unprecedented 1000-goal milestone in his career a mark no male footballer has ever reached. ESPN reports that after scoring in Al Nassr's recent 2-0 league win Ronaldo is now tallying 950 goals across his career and has just signed a new contract extension with Al Nassr until 2027 paving the way for him to reach 1000 goals likely by late 2026 barring serious injury. His dominance is illustrated by his 143 goals for Portugal another global record and his relentless scoring rate which remains just below a goal per game. Yet this week's news is tinged with frustration and debate rather than pure celebration as his club trophy drought extends. India Today and The Business Standard report that Al Nassr was ousted from the King's Cup after a painful 2-1 home loss to Al Ittihad on October 28 with Ronaldo's former Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema scoring early and Al Nassr unable to capitalize even after Al Ittihad was reduced to 10 men. Ronaldo set up the equalizer but watched as his side failed to find a way back. This defeat marks Ronaldo's 13th unsuccessful tournament since joining the Saudi Pro League in January 2023 and keeps his sole trophy in Saudi Arabia as the unofficial Arab Club Champions Cup a fact widely debated by fans and pundits alike. After the game Ronaldo turned to social media breaking his silence with a now viral eight-word message on X formerly Twitter We stand tall learn and move forward together according to Sportskeeda and Kursiv Media. His leadership contrasted sharply with some of the debate sparked by Benzema who posted on social after the match and fueled online speculation about changing winds among former Madrid stars now competing as rivals Sport Bible notes. In media interviews covered by Sportskeeda Ronaldo remains undeterred about his future ambitions dismissing calls from family to retire once he reaches 1000 goals Instead he says he still loves the game and wants to make the most of his remaining years on the pitch. The loss hasn't shaken his image nor his marketability he remains the world's first football billionaire with a net worth recently estimated above 1.4 billion dollars. There is heavy social buzz surrounding his next steps and whether a major trophy will ever return to his shelf in Saudi Arabia but for now the biographical focus is on the twilight chase for that 1000-goal landmark and the public drama that surrounds every turn in the final chapters of his storied career.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI
Ed Sheeran BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Ed Sheeran showed once again why he's one of the industry's most versatile and relevant stars, making headlines this week for a slew of eye-catching public appearances and breaking news. Cristiano Ronaldo BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Cristiano Ronaldo remains as much a phenomenon off the field as on it, and the past few days have amplified that truth. Making headlines on September 26, 2025, the 40-year-old scored again for Al Nassr, netting the second goal in a 2-0 win over rivals Al Ittihad to maintain their perfect start in the Saudi Pro League according to the Times of India. That match also saw a viral social moment: cameras captured N'Golo Kanté walking past Ronaldo without a handshake, causing a buzz online, but Ronaldo stayed composed and let his performance do the talking. Ronaldo's fitness and minutes are being tightly managed by Al Nassr coach Jorge Jesus, who openly explained to World Soccer Talk that the star will skip their AFC Champions League 2 tie against Al Zawraa in Iraq, a calculated rest to preserve him for big moments ahead and for Portugal's World Cup qualifiers. He had just come off a pivotal stint, bagging his 104th goal for Al Nassr and keeping alive his chase for the mythical 1,000-goal mark.Businesswise, Ronaldo is setting new standards: he remains Saudi Arabia's highest-paid athlete with Forbes pegging his annual earnings at $225 million from Al Nassr alone, not counting millions more from global endorsements and a personal net worth estimated between $600 million and $1 billion, as revealed by the Times of India. His CR7 brand stretches from hotels and luxury gyms to fashion and supplements, while his latest commercial appearance sees him starring in a high-profile promotional film for Saudi Arabia's national events calendar, a role The Business Standard highlighted as part of the kingdom's broader yearlong celebration campaign. Ronaldo's deepening ties to Saudi Arabia were made unmistakably clear when he posted an emotional Instagram tribute for the kingdom's 95th National Day—assuring fans not just of his happiness but of his intention to make the country his long-term home, according to the Times of India. On social media, Cristiano Ronaldo remains dominant, topping HypeAuditor's September 2025 global athlete rankings with nearly 665 million Instagram followers. His posts—mixing match highlights, luxury lifestyle glimpses, and family moments—regularly amass millions of likes and set online trends, as confirmed by the Times of India and highlighted on YouTube channels dedicated to his social media impact. Looking ahead, he'll next don the Portugal kit for World Cup qualifier duty versus Ireland on October 11, with preparation and freshness as the club's priority. Even as Ronaldo advances in age, his every move—be it a game-winning header, a contract extension to 2027, or a major brand campaign—continues to shape football's present and its future legend.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI
Cristiano Ronaldo BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Cristiano Ronaldo has dominated headlines in the past several days with a combination of record-breaking performances on the field, flashes of temper off it, major business activity, and a surge of high-profile appearances in global media and advertising. In competitive play, Ronaldo scored twice in Portugal's dramatic 3-2 win over Hungary on September 9, 2025, at World Cup qualifying, pushing his tally to 39 goals in World Cup qualification matches and equaling the all-time record previously held by Carlos Ruiz, as reported during the match broadcast and highlighted by several sports outlets. Those goals came just days after he netted a brace in a 5-0 demolition of Armenia. At age 40, Ronaldo's international longevity and relentless scoring are being described as rewriting the limits of elite football performance, stirring speculation among pundits that he may well target the 2026 World Cup as a leading player.Off the pitch, controversy erupted on September 6 in the lobby of Portugal's team hotel in Armenia where, according to the Times of India and corroborated by video footage, an overzealous fan broke through security to demand a selfie. Ronaldo was caught shoving the fan and, according to a lip-reading expert cited by the Daily Mail, muttering an obscenity under his breath. Video of the incident flooded social media, sparking debate about boundaries between athletes and fans and drawing both criticism and support, but the episode did not seem to affect his game or his focus. In the business and public relations sphere, Ronaldo's presence is larger than ever. The South China Morning Post revealed the opening of the high-profile CR7 Life Museum in Hong Kong, representing a HK$70 million investment by Star Shine Holdings and serving as both a tourist attraction and a symbol of Ronaldo's global cultural influence. Meanwhile, he continues to headline Saudi Arabia's multi-billion dollar Unreal Calendar campaign. In partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority, Ronaldo's extended contract with Al Nassr now runs until 2027, and he has pledged to live in Saudi Arabia permanently with his family. This role casts him not only as a club icon but as a face of Saudi Vision 2030, the Kingdom's long-term plan for cultural and economic transformation. He's confirmed his admiration for Saudi culture in official statements and multimedia releases featured in the Times of India and The Business Standard.Ronaldo's activity on social media also remains unmatched. Data from the Daily Sun indicates that each of his posts across major platforms is valued at nearly three-quarters of a million dollars, making him the world's most influential athlete online. Just this week, he charmed fans by posting a heartwarming photo with a child mascot after the Portugal-Hungary match, which drew hundreds of thousands of likes within hours, according to Sportskeeda Football on Threads. In summary, the past several days have seen Ronaldo both celebrated for historic on-field exploits and scrutinized for his public behavior, all while leveraging his brand in highly lucrative business ventures and international campaigns. No confirmed reports of injury, transfer rumors, or internal discord have emerged, and speculation about an eventual transition to a non-playing role—while ever-present—remains just that: speculation.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI
Sean Combs, known to listeners around the world as Puffy, P Diddy, or simply Diddy, remains at the forefront of headlines as his long-standing legal battle reached a dramatic turning point. According to CBS News New York, Combs was found guilty last week of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, but was acquitted of the much more severe racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges. Prosecutors are now urging the judge to reject Combs' request to overturn the guilty verdict, and he has been denied bail pending his formal sentencing, scheduled for October 3. While some analysts suggest his prison time could stretch far beyond the four to five years previously speculated, federal sentencing guidelines leave open the possibility of up to 10 years for each count. The trial captivated the nation not only because of Combs' cultural status, but also for its intense focus on his relationships with former partners, such as Cassie Ventura. Ventura, who previously settled a high-profile civil suit with Combs for $20 million, is widely credited by her attorney in The Business Standard for “paving the way” for his conviction. The courtroom itself witnessed high emotion—Combs reportedly knelt in prayer and told supporters, “I'm gonna be home soon. I love you.”Amid his legal crisis, Combs made headlines for selling his majority stake in the media company Revolt, according to MVSU.edu, a move interpreted by many industry observers as a strategy to shield assets from ongoing civil lawsuits and financial scrutiny. This comes as his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, told CBS News that his focus now is on securing a fair sentence and that Combs is determined to return to music and business as soon as possible. In a sign that Combs remains defiant, he broke his silence from jail via his first Instagram post since his arrest, with his spokesperson assuring outlets like Bored Panda that the music mogul remains “strong, healthy, and focused on his defense.” His legal team has also accused federal authorities of leaking video evidence to the press, a move they argue jeopardizes his chance at a fair trial. As listeners await next steps, Combs—who helped shape hip hop's modern era and founded Bad Boy Records—now faces the greatest test of his legacy. All eyes will be on the October sentencing and the outcome of his appeals and ongoing civil suits.Thank you for tuning in, and be sure to come back next week for more. The most prominent news is her announcement as a headliner for the 2025 Global Citizen Festival, set to electrify Central Park's Great Lawn on September 27. As covered by NY1, Shakira will share the stage with The Weeknd, and the event is expected to draw massive crowds while focusing on impactful activism, like expanding electricity access in Africa, educational opportunities for thousands of children, and protecting the Amazon. Hugh Jackman returns as host, and more performers are to be announced. The buzz across outlets like Vinyl Me Please and MusicTalkers underscores the festival's significance in both music and philanthropic circles, adding another star turn to Shakira's legacy of blending entertainment with advocacy. On the career milestones front, Shakira continues her reign as a record-breaker. According to The Business Standard, she recently shattered 14 Guinness World Records with her Bizarrap-produced song Music Sessions Vol. 53, including accolades for the most-viewed Latin track on YouTube in 24 hours and the fastest to reach 100 million views. Sean “Diddy” Combs, also known as Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, or simply Diddy, remains in the global spotlight as his sprawling legal saga continues to grip the music industry and beyond. Recently, there's been a new twist: RadarOnline reports that Combs, currently holed up in New York's Metropolitan Detention Center after being found guilty of two counts related to prostitution while being cleared of the most severe sex trafficking charge, is reportedly plotting a high-profile comeback with Kanye West. Sources close to Combs say he's determined to reenter Hollywood's power circles and sees Kanye, who has stuck by him throughout his legal woes, as a key ally in this effort. Last month, Kanye even released a track called “Diddy Free,” including a phone call with Combs and has launched 'Free Puff' merchandise despite widespread backlash and a temporary suspension from X after a controversial post supporting Combs. According to insider claims, their alliance is stronger than ever, and the pair believe they're poised to reshape the industry when Combs walks free.Meanwhile, Diddy's legal challenges remain far from over. NBC, Peacock TV, and Ample Entertainment have filed to dismiss Combs' $100 million defamation suit over the hard-hitting documentary “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy”. Combs accuses them of maliciously broadcasting falsehoods about serious crimes, including serial murder and sexual assault, in the documentary and damaging his reputation. NBC insists their reporting has not caused new harm, and with Diddy's conviction on lesser charges, the legal standoff intensifies. The trial itself has produced bombshell revelations. According to FandomWire, testimony from a Department of Homeland Security special agent described shocking discoveries during their 2024 raid of Combs' Miami mansion. Details from this search are expected to have a significant impact on the outcome of his sentencing, which prosecutors have recommended be set at four years. The controversies aren't limited to Diddy. His mother, Janice Combs, now faces a lawsuit filed by Bad Boy Records cofounder Kirk Burrowes, who alleges nearly three decades of fraud and intimidation that stripped him of his 25 percent stake in the label. Burrowes claims Janice Combs and her son systematically sabotaged his reputation and concealed earnings, and he's seeking compensatory damages and an independent audit.Adding to the sensationalism, The Business Standard reports that tapes, possibly featuring a celebrity even "more high-profile" than Diddy, are reportedly being shopped around Hollywood. Diddy's attorney, Marc Agnifilo, recently emphasized that his client would not consider a plea deal, stating publicly that Diddy insists on his innocence and wants to fight the government charges to the end.Thank you for tuning in to this week's headline round-up on Sean “Diddy” Combs.

PRESS REVIEW – Thursday, May 8: We look at reactions from the Indian and Pakistani press after India's retaliatory strikes against its neighbour. How far will the nuclear powers go? Also, jubilation for Paris Saint Germain and heartbreak for Arsenal after the French team books a spot in the Champion's League final. And, a woman sets a new world record for the largest Minions collection! It's 80 years today since the signing of the armistice ending the Second World War. We look at poignant front pages from the British press. Eighty years on, the Daily Mirror believes the era of post-war peace is over. The British daily republishes this cartoon from May 8th, 1945, by Philip Zec. Here you are, don't lose it again, this WW2 vet says of victory and peace in Europe. The I also headlines on VE day, Victory in Europe day ... 80 years of hope. It's not the only story dominating the I: escalating violence between India and Pakistan is also making headlines.World leaders are trying to pull India and Pakistan back from the brink after India launched deadly missiles against its neighbour yesterday. Delhi says it is retaliating against a deadly terror attack in Kashmir last month in which Pakistan is accused of being involved. The bellicose tone is very much present in the Indian press. Operation Sindoor – as was named by Prime Minister Narendra Modi – takes the terror fight to Pakistan, Business Standard says, carefully underlining what Indian authorities say was a "measured, non-escalatory attack". The belligerent tone is also apparent in the Hindustan Times with its bold title: "Sindoor serves justice". Free Press Journal, another Indian daily sees the strikes as "Pakistan punished" while The Hindu's editors accuse Pakistan of using terrorism as a low-cost instrument of war against India for decades. Islamabad also harboured Osama bin Laden despite claiming to be an ally in the war on terror, the paper says. There is a lot of strong language from the Pakistani press too. Pakistan Today quotes the Pakistani Prime Minister as describing the strikes as a "heinous attack by India", one which will not go unpunished. In its editorial pages, the paper calls it a "dastardly attack" but one in which Indian leadership should be embarrassed. The editors saying that five Indian fighters were downed in the attack yesterday and that Pakistan's air forces were able to intercept and respond to Indian air strikes. Nonetheless, the paper calls on the international community to step up before "the restraint is gone". In a piece published by the daily Dawn, journalist Zahid Hussain underlines the importance of the media and decries their lack of objectivity. Shortly after the Kashmir attack, the Indian media, most of them controlled by business groups linked to the right-wing Hindu nationalist BJP party, blamed Pakistan, without waiting for an investigation. In Pakistan, some of the media often uses religion to whip up bigotry, Hussain adds, denouncing the weaponisation of the media. Here in France, Paris Saint Germain fans are celebrating a thrilling win over Arsenal in the Champions League semi-finals yesterday. There is jubilation from French sports daily L'Equipe which hails a "liberated" Paris Saint Germain which triumphed with a 2-1 win over Arsenal. Le Parisien celebrates PSG's second Champions League final - they'll face Inter Milan in Munich at the end of the month. There is devastation however from the British sports pages: "Art ache", says the Star Sport, for Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta. Daily Telegraph admits that the Gunners are "down and out in Paris".Finally: the Guinness Book of Records has attributed a new record to a woman with the largest Minions collection! The Washington Post reports that Liesl Benecke from Perth, Australia has amassed more than 1000 pieces of Minions memorabilia after falling in love with the yellow creatures fifteen years ago! She has bobbleheads, blankets, Lego sets, water bottles, shower curtain and even two tattoos. She also keeps a giant, three-foot-tall stuffed Stuart in her car. Her dedication to the Minions has now put her in the Guinness Book of Records! You can catch our press review every morning on France 24 at 7:20am and 9:20am (Paris time), from Monday to Friday.

This podcast and sources discuss the growing issue of plastic pollution and the limitations of traditional recycling methods. They introduce the discovery of plastic-eating microbes and their enzymes as a promising alternative for degrading plastics. Crucially, the text explains how Artificial Intelligence (AI)is being employed to significantly enhance the effectiveness of these enzymes, making them faster and more stable for industrial applications. The document highlights successful AI-engineered enzymes like FAST-PETase for achieving true circularity by breaking plastics down to their original monomers, and outlines the environmental and economic benefits of this approach. However, the sources also acknowledge the significant scientific, engineering, economic, and regulatory challenges that must be overcome for large-scale adoption of this technology.

The podcast discusses Conformal Prediction (CP) as a method for enhancing the reliability of AI in medical diagnosis by providing rigorous uncertainty quantification. It explains that unlike traditional AI which gives single predictions, CP produces a set of possible outcomes with a guaranteed probability of containing the true answer, addressing the critical need for trustworthy AI in healthcare. The text explores the foundational concepts of CP, compares it to other uncertainty quantification techniques, highlights advanced CP methods for more nuanced guarantees, and surveys its diverse applications in medical imaging, genomics, clinical risk prediction, and drug discovery. Finally, it examines the challenges of clinical integration, the need for human-AI interaction, and the ethical and regulatory dimensions, positioning CP as a vital tool for the safe and effective deployment of AI in medicine despite requiring further research and adaptation for practical success.Source: https://machinelearningcertification.web.app/Conformal_Classification_in_Medical_Diagnosis.pdf

On April 2nd, the U.S. government announced a host of sweeping tariff hikes with every single one of America's trading partners. The aim of the so-called “Liberation Day” tariffs was ostensibly to “rebalance” the global trading system, as some Trump advisors have put it.However, the drastic measure roiled markets and eventually resulted in the President imposing a 90-day pause on most tariffs, with the exception of strategic sectors and imports from China. India, for its part, was slapped with a 26% tariff even as top officials were negotiating a bilateral trade agreement with their American counterparts. While the fate of future tariffs and any side agreements are unknown, the episode raises serious questions about India's global economic strategy. To talk about where India goes from here, Milan is joined on the show this week by Shoumitro Chatterjee. Shoumitro is an Assistant Professor of International Economics at Johns Hopkins-SAIS. His research lies at the intersection of development economics, trade, and macroeconomics, but he has also done seminal work on the role of agriculture in development.Milan and Shoumitro discuss India's surprising export-led success, its underperformance in low-skilled manufacturing, and the country's inward turn post-2017. Plus, the two discuss how India can take advantage of the current global uncertainty and where the politically sensitive agricultural sector fits in.Episode notes:1. There's a war for succession going on. Who gets to become the new television? There are two challengers. The first challenger is Youtube.According to Neal Mohan, YouTube CEO, TV screens have officially overtaken mobile as the quote, primary device for YouTube viewing in the US.It is, as Mohan writes in his annual letter from the CEO, an indication that YouTube is the new television. It's interactive and includes things like shorts, podcasts, and live streams alongside sports, sitcoms, and talk shows that people already love.It is getting there organically by adding things like memberships, monetisation tools, partner programs, and super chats, and it's letting creators play with them to create content that takes eyeballs away from linear television. On the other hand, there are streaming companies like Netflix and Jiohotstar, who also want to become the successor for new television, and they do it by owning and producing exclusive content and IP such as live sports, Disney, Marvel, HBO, and a whole lot more. All of this came to a head a couple of days back after Jiohotstar live-streamed its Mahashivratri event. It had a lot of the same elements as Youtube live events.Viewers could switch between temple feeds, listen to mythological narratives or engage in real-time chanting and live Q&A sessions, transforming passive viewing into active participation.Jio Hotstar is redefining live streaming by making shared cultural moments more immersive. To discuss this, hosts Praveen Gopal Krishnan and Rohin Dharmakumar invited two wonderful guests. Our first guest is Swati Mohan, the ex-head of marketing at Netflix India. She's also an independent advisor to many consumer tech companies. She's led large business verticals and has had leadership roles in media companies such as GroupM, Nat Geo, and many others across India and APAC.And our second guest is Vanita Kohli-Khandekar. She is an India-based media specialist and a contributing editor for Business Standard, where she has written about media and the business of media for over two decades. She also writes for Singapore-based Content Asia. The Media Room, her podcast on all things media and entertainment, is hosted on The Core. She has also authored the authoritative book on India's media landscape titled The Indian Media Business. In this episode, we discuss which of these two contenders will become new television. What will YouTube do, and how will it get there? They look like lost children… until you see their eyes — and realize you've just opened the door to something inhuman.Darkness Syndicate members get the ad-free version of #WeirdDarkness: https://weirddarkness.com/syndicateIN THIS EPISODE: Described as childlike beings with eerie coal black eyes, no iris or pupils, and pale, white skin, a scourge of mysterious black-eyed children have been reported all over the world. There are hundreds of reports of black-eyed children, often seen in groups of two or more, who ask for permission to enter the person's home or vehicle. Witnesses often report an overwhelming feeling of dread and despair in their presence. What the black-eyed children seek is not known… nor is it known exactly what they are. (Invasion Of The Black Eyed Kids) *** In October of 1943, a U.S. Navy destroyer was supposedly turned invisible and teleported from Philadelphia to Norfolk. But did it really happen? (The Truth Behind The Philadelphia Experiment) *** The Witchcraft Act of 1735 ended the gruesome practice of burning witches at the stake, making it illegal to accuse anyone of having magical powers. Yet in 1944, Helen Duncan was convicted under this very law for fraudulent spiritual activities. Despite her claims of contacting spirits through ectoplasm and even revealing classified naval secrets, she was sentenced to prison. Her trial was one of the last times the Witchcraft Act was used before being replaced in 1951, but her supporters continue to campaign for her pardon. (Britain's Last Witch) *** Once a powerful festival, Dies Sanguinis, or "Day of Blood," honored the Roman goddess of war, Bellona, with animal sacrifices and martial rituals. The festival showcased Rome's military strength and dedication to victory. Although the rise of Christianity and the fall of the Roman Empire eventually ended the festival, its legacy still sheds light on the fascinating nature of ancient Roman culture. (Rome's Day of the Bloody Sacrifice) *** The Dardeen family was found brutally murdered in their home near Ina, Illinois, leaving residents and investigators stumped. Yet even after a confession by Tommy Lynn Sells, the truth is still a mystery. In this video, I delve into the tax proposals of Trump and Harris regarding businesses. Harris suggests increasing the startup deduction to $50,000, aiming to support entrepreneurs. Trump's plan includes a 20% deduction on net income, benefiting small business owners. No government checks are involved; deductions reduce taxable income. The most significant proposal is the potential permanence of 100% bonus depreciation, aiding real estate investors and business owners.
Indian federalism is encountering some of its biggest challenges since the early years of the republic. Relations between the union government in Delhi and the states are rocky, to put it mildly.India's better-off states are growing increasingly agitated about a system of fiscal federalism in which richer states end up subsidizing poorer, more backward ones. The new Goods and Services Tax (GST) has attracted fresh criticism because its benefits have not been shared equally by all states. And the coming fight over how parliamentary seats will be allocated across states has only added fuel to the fire.To discuss the brewing crisis in Indian federalism, Milan is joined today on the show this week by the economist Arvind Subramanian. Arvind is a senior fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. He also served as the chief economic advisor to the government of India between 2014 and 2018. He recently co-authored a new essay in Economic and Political Weekly, “GST Revenue Performance: Gainers and Losers after Seven Years.”Milan and Arvind discuss the foundations of the GST, its implications for India's federal design, and its revenue implications. Plus, the two discuss growing resentment among India's prosperous states over fiscal transfers, questions about political representation, and the prospects of a new grand federal bargain.Episode notes:1. IN THIS EPISODE: Described as childlike beings with eerie coal black eyes, no iris or pupils, and pale, white skin, a scourge of mysterious black-eyed children have been reported all over the world.
