Highly recommended for space fans. Super Mario Galaxy Movie 2: Tim went opening night. Lots of Nintendo cameos (including Star Fox voiced by Glen Powell), stunning animation and score, but criticized as overstuffed, fast-paced dopamine overload with thin character development and a chaotic plot. Fun for Nintendo fans as a "Super Nintendo World: The Movie" experience, but not a strong standalone film. Yoshi's backstory montage is a highlight; Donald Glover does the voice. Other: Tim watched Mercy (Chris Pratt + AI judge system) and re-watched Minority Report. Nate had a nostalgia kick with 80s films like D.A.R.Y.L. and The Last Starfighter (which he thinks needs a modern remake). They're watching Invincible Season 4—Tim calls Episode 5 one of the darkest, most disturbing things he's seen in animation. Life Stories Nate got his Tony Hawk skateboard delivered by an Amazon driver… who arrived on a skateboard himself (Tim and Nate both found this hilarious and practical).
