No one denies the teen years can be tough on many levels. A program in our secondary schools called Sources of Strength is helping students lean on support systems to help them through struggles big and small.   «No ruego que los quites del mundo, sino que los guardes del mal. No son del mundo, como tampoco yo soy del mundo» (Juan 17:15-16) Ser especial. No es una meta para la mayoría de nosotros, ¿cierto? Pero debería serlo. Dios nos ha llamado a ser linaje escogido; a vivir de tal manera que el mundo se dé cuenta de que somos pruebas vivientes del amor y el poder de Dios (1 Pedro 2:9). Por ejemplo, Él no quiere que padezcamos con el resto del mundo. No quiere que suframos las dolencias, ni las enfermedades, ni la pobreza, ni los fracasos del mundo. Dios nunca ha querido esas cosas para Su pueblo. La Biblia nos da un ejemplo claro de esto cuando Israel estuvo cautivo en Egipto. Faraón se había rehusado a liberar a los israelitas y Dios permitió que las tinieblas cubrieran toda la región. La oscuridad fue tan densa en todo Egipto que nadie pudo hacer nada por tres días. Sin embargo, vemos en Éxodo 10:23 que «todos los hijos de Israel tenían luz en sus habitaciones». ¡Qué ejemplo tan impresionante de la manera en que Dios desea que vivamos! Deberíamos estar glorificando a Dios por el milagro de disfrutar una vida victoriosa. La gente debería decirnos continuamente: “Supe cómo Dios te sanó” o “me contaron cómo Dios te ha prosperado y cómo salvó a tus hijos”. Por lo tanto, sigue adelante. Pon en práctica la Palabra de Dios en tu vida y atrévete a recibir las ricas bendiciones que le pertenecen a todo creyente. Utiliza la Palabra para delimitar tus alrededores, pintando señales espirituales de advertencia para el diablo. Señales que digan: “¡Vete de aquí! De acuerdo con la Palabra de Dios, ya no te pertenezco. Mi familia no te pertenece. Mi salud no te pertenece. Mi dinero no te pertenece. Mi ministerio no te pertenece. Pertenezco a otro Reino. Ahora, ¡aléjate en el nombre de Jesús!”. ¿Suena algo especial? Me alegra. ¡Dios te ha llamado precisamente para eso!
