Well hello hello there everybody! Welcome back to another exciting episode of Trophy Talk! This episode sees a return to the normal run of the show, after what has been a fairly hectic week for a few of the hosts. Slugger fills us in on his most recent escapades to see the Bills play during the play offs, and Colin and Darryl are going through a rather slow period at work. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it does mean that it's harder to get in the normal routine and rhythms of life. That being said, we've got a banger episode for you all, so thanks so much for tuning in and listening. For starters we have a few housekeeping items to go over which include the start of the next competition and Discord raffle beginning February 1st, Colin's most recent guest appearance on PS Plus Game Club, and the announcement that Pat and Kevin will be back on as guests on the show in the near future. From there we get into our Patreon submitted questions which range from the goofy to the profound. On the profound side, the boys try to come up with their 5 most proud platinum trophies in their whole collection while also keeping in mind if these are games that we can recommend to the wider trophy hunting audience. After that we discuss things like our preference with flying first class or for free, what video game character we want to smell like, and what our favorite TV shows and cartoons were growing up. As it turns out two of the hosts were Nickelodeon kids while one was firmly in the camp of Cartoon Network... can you guess who? Last but not least the guys each bring a trophy list to review and discuss. Darryl continues to go hard on indie games and brings forth Cub, a fairly new release which he just so happens to have a great deal of love for. If you couldn't tell from the thumbnail and title, Slugger goes deep into the analysis of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and it's Day 1 DLC for NG+. Last but not least Colin takes a look at just why the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake lists keeps popping up every so often on PSNP. Is this game ever going to come out? Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake brings the classic back for Xbox One, PS4, and PC  Ubisoft is bringing back one of its most legendary games with Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, a modern version of the classic action-adventure game set for release on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on January 21st, 2021. The company says that the new version of The Sands of Time is emphatically Ubisoft's first full-fledged remake, not a remaster or reboot. Ubisoft Pune & Ubisoft Mumbai rebuilt the original game from the ground up using Ubisoft's modern AnvilNext Engine, complete with new motion capture animation, new assets, and some adjustments to the gameplay for modern audiences. The Sands of Time Remake still strongly resembles the original, though, with the same storyline and gameplay. Don't expect a full-scale reimagining like the recent Final Fantasy 7 Remake. That said, the company is promising that it has enhanced the camera controls and combat system with the aim of improving on those aspects from their 2008 iterations. FullBump - Are you like me? I have never played this series at all and am actually kind of excited to try an older classic.Entertainment News MGM Is Developing a ROBOCOP Prequel Series That Focuses on a Young Dick Jones  I've got some exciting news for all you RoboCop fans out there! MGM is developing a prequel series that will focus on the life of a young Dick Jones. I'm sure you all remember the villainous and corrupt Senior Vice President of Omni Consumer Products, who at the end of the original movie, ended up blown away by RoboCop epically shooting him out of a boardroom window! Such an awesomely classic ‘80s movie death. There is also a new sequel for the original film that's in development, which is based on the original plans from RoboCop screenwriters Ed Neumeier and Michael Miner. Neill Blomkamp was originally attached to direct, but after he dropped out he was replaced with Abe Forsythe (Little Monsters). When talking about the ideas that they are playing with, Neumeier goes on to say: “There's the idea of doing things about business and law enforcement in the city of Detroit a minute-and-a-half in the future, it would be a way to do all sorts of stories about business and tech, Silicon Valley, corporations, snakes in suits, cops, all that. It's a wonderful rich tapestry. “So we've been talking about it and I think we have an interesting story. It's fun to work with a younger version of the Dick Jones we meet in RoboCop. He's an actualised corporate predator [in the move] but nobody necessarily starts out being the bad guy. Daintiest - In the wake of the popularity of retro synth music/future retroism this seems like great timing for a show like this. What's your take? THE WALKING DEAD Will End with an Extended Season 11 The Walking Dead's upcoming 11th season will be its last. Season 11 was originally set to air this October in line with the show's normal Fall TV cycle. However, the coronavirus pandemic means fans will only get the season 10 “finale” this year and Season 11 in 2021. Now, the upcoming season will be expanded from the 16-episode norm to a whopping 24 episodes over the course of the next two years. This means the series finale will take place in 2022. It's sad news for a lot of long-term and dedicated viewers. But Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier fans won't have to say goodbye to their faves forever. The aforementioned Deadline report reveals that actors Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride will go on to star in a Walking Dead spin-off series. The Daryl and Carol adventure will debut sometime in 2023. It would also be a spoiler for their future if it wasn't so obvious that they are basically unkillable at this point. Há muitos anos a indústria dos jogos eletrônicos presenteia os fãs com jogos incríveis e que marcam gerações e vidas, mas muitas dessas criações acabam ficando limitadas às tecnologias de seu tempo e por esse motivo é muito comum desenvolvedores revitalizarem velhas franquias grandiosas adaptando-as às novas mecânicas, jogabilidades e até mesmo apelo visual. Mas você sabe a diferença entre um Remake, Remaster ou um Reboot? Um Reboot é a reinicialização de uma franquia já consagrada ignorando fatos de jogos passados e recontando a história dos protagonistas de uma forma diferente ou até mesmo mudanto fatos que marcam este personagem principal um dos reboots mais icônicos é Tomb Raider de 2013 que embora seja o 12º jogo da franquia, inicia uma nova linha cronológica e reconta a história de Lara Croft. Já o Remaster ou Remasterização é a adaptação ou portabilidade com melhorias de um jogo mantendo sua mecânica, jogabilidade, motor gráfico e até mesmo seus comandos, porém com algumas melhorias gráficas ou adição de alguns elementos que o diferencia de seu jogo de gerações passadas, podemos tomar como exemplo, Resident Evil e Resident Evil 0 que foram adaptados para a atual geração de consoles com melhorias gráficas, mas mantendo sua jogabilidade e engine do Game Cube. O Remake, por outro lado, é transformar o jogo clássico recontruindo-o basicamente do zero, recontando a história que vimos em gerações passadas, mas com mudanças drásticas em jogabilidade, recursos e até mesmo motor gráfico, o Remake é como demolir uma casa velha e reconstruí-la da mesma forma, mas com materiais mais modernos e algumas mudanças necessárias, ao invés de fazer apenas uma reforma (como é o Remaster). Um exemplo recente que temos é Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 que trouxe de volta os clássicos lançados a quase 20 anos com muita melhorias e novidades. E é justamente sobre esta denominação que conversaremos hoje. Como mencionado no nosso CyberPod, a Ubisoft anunciou um remake de um de seus jogos mais icônicos, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time que embora os desenvolvedores dizem terem feito o game completamente do zero, entregaram uma qualidade gráfica que aparenta muito a geração do Xbox, PlayStation 2 e Nintendo Wii, inclusive mostrando NPCs idênticos com a mesma animação em um frame em que apenas 5 pessoas apareciam em destaque (veja próximo aos 27 segundos do trailer abaixo). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UMvYGj10-Q Muitas empresas estão apresentando alternativas aos clássicos do passado conquistando novos fãs e atraindo os mais velhos, porém junto com produções aclamadas como Crash Bandicoot N. Under veckan som var så hade Ubisoft sin andra Ubisoft Forward och vi tog upp några av dem spelen som visades upp där som t.ex. Immortals Fenyx Rising, Prince of Persia Sands of Time Remake, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition och Riders Republic. Vi pratar om att Microsoft efter läckor kom ut med både releasedatum och pris på både Xbox Series X/S. Samt att de bakar in EA Play i Ultimate Gamepass till jul och man kan få allt detta till ett bra pris på avbetalning om man skaffar Xbox All Access. Ubisoft tidigarelägger släppen för Assassins Creed Valhalla och Watch Dogs Legion och gör dem till releasetitlar på Xbox. Nintendo har utannonserat ett nytt Zelda spel, spelet heter Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity och är en prequel till Breath of the Wild.Carl och Fredrik går lös på AMD som har utannonserat att de den 28 Oktober kommer visa upp RDNA2. Samt snackis om konkurrensen mellan AMD och Nvidia. Danny ger oss en lite försmak på vad han tycker om Marvel's Avengers och så har Fredrik spelet Neon Abyss, Carl ger oss sina tankar på Iron Harvest Betan som han har kört. So a couple weeks ago on my other podcast Virtual Theater, I was telling Gooey that I wouldn't buy the recently released Final Fantasy VII Remake because it was a remake of only the first 5-10% of the game. I even said "that would be like remaking Ocarina of Time and only having the entire game take place in Kokiri Forest!". Fast forward to now, and I caved and bought FFVIIR, really enjoyed it, and felt like it offered a complete experience. So in order to not have to eat a bunch of crow, I came up with an Ocarina of Time Remake game of my own... set entirely in Kokiri Forest! Come hear my pitch on what this game could look like, what you could expand, how many dungeons you could include, and how big a re-imagined Kokiri Forest could look like! Is it an insane idea? Yes!
