Tresor Resident LNS started out organizing warehouse parties in Vancouver, Canada. Since residing in Berlin her style of classic techno, house, electro and braindance can easily be identified in her studio productions and DJ sets. Her collaborations with DJ Sotofett are regularly released on Tresor Records and WANIA, while her solo productions and remixes have been released by Counter 99, Emotional Response, Freakout Cult, Sex Tags Ufo and DFA. Chloe Lula is a resident DJ and releasing artist at Tresor. She's played at Berghain, Boiler Room, Radion, Movement weekend in Detroit, and countless clubs, festivals and parties across Asia, Europe, and, North and South America. Chloe has released on Tresor Records, Blueprint Falling Ethics. In addition to her career as a DJ and producer, Chloe is a cellist—her debut instrumental full-length was released in November 2024—and Chloe is also the senior producer of Resident Advisor, where she hosts and curates talks and music workshops at festivals like Nuits Sonores, Dekmantel, Unsound, Wire, and many more. TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ KAT DAVIDS Berlin based DJ & Producer Kat Davids' selections are inspired by the depth of Detroit, Body- High Dub house and Dub techno. Whether holding an intimate atmosphere at a club or letting loose at festivals - always striving to allow people to lose oneself in a musical journey for a night. With an intimate space that feels raw and honest, Kats' music is characterized by her own vocals, field recordings, playful percussions and driving bass lines. Her releases “dust” on Intercept Records and single “Haunted” on Tresor Records, will be followed by an EP in 2024 with a remixes by i.a. VRIL. TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ ROCKO GARONI Rocko Garoni has been socialised by Bremen's Drum 'n Bass scene and the Berlin Techno from the late 90s. Well experienced, he transfers his sounds into future - raw, trippy and driving. Starting his career in the early 2000s as a DnB vinyl DJ, he often melds Breaks and straight Techno. With his positive energy and his charismatic sounds he shakes every venue. With CDJs and also turntables, he loves to test out musical boundaries. While leaving his mark on almost every puzzle piece in the scene, Rocko also started as a music producer. During the last five years he turned his sound to his favorite likes. This edition of The Bunker Podcast comes from Camille Altay (they/them), a visual artist, composer and DJ who lives and works in Climax, New York. Camille spent formative years as a drum and bass dj in the house-heavy rave scene in Chicago in the late 90s. A contrarian in nature, Camille has been known to play genre-bending dj sets with influences ranging from Cumbia to Ghettotech. Camille's live sets lean toward the spiraling, runaway arpeggiations of synth music in its initial stages of identity crisis - whether to emulate real instruments, or subversively carve a path towards unnamed and evolving shapes of space and identity. Adam X's illustrious music career began in 1990 in Brooklyn, NYC, where he was born and raised. His earliest productions were released during this period, and he quickly gained momentum as one of the most adept DJs on the global underground techno scene. Alongside pioneer and brother Frankie Bones, he opened the doors of Groove Records in Brooklyn as America's first true outlet for underground electronic music with a direct focus on the techno genre. The Groove Records team also took part in organizing the first techno events ever to take place in NYC, including the legendary Storm Rave that started in 1991. Storm Rave was the first all-techno warehouse party organized on the East Coast of America, featuring line-ups with many up-and-coming artists who would later become global techno cult figures. The Sonic Groove label was born in 1995 at the upgraded Manhattan location of the shop (which also changed its name from Groove Records to Sonic Groove during the transition). Adam continues to operate the label in an exemplary and innovative way, with over one hundred releases to date, focusing on an assortment of techno music styles from many well established artists across the electronic music spectrum. A unique perspective and acute knowledge of music can be recognized in his DJ and live sets, which have always retained a unique sense of an uncompromised approach to the dance floor. Adam's approach facilitated acid techno's dominance in the early to mid-nineties, and he nearly single-handedly put the Industrial and EBM Techno cross-over genres on the map for the first two decades of the millennium. Now, Adam returns to his purist techno roots with a hard but deep thought-provoking sound, one combines the past, present and future of this timeless music. His Traversable Wormhole, ADMX-71, The Secret Initiative, Mass-X-Odus, and X-Crashed side-projects, along with his collaboration with co-conspirator U.K.-based artist Perc in their project AX&P, and with his techno life partner Maedon as Maedon-X on Tresor Records, have all strongly impacted the most discerning audiences. Adam X has also released his own work on his seminal imprint, as well as releases on some of the most essential labels to exist, both past and present, such as Wax Trax!, Direct Drive, Magnetic North, Peacefrog, Drop Bass Network, CLR, Hands Productions, as well as preeminent contemporary labels like Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, L.I.E.S, Hospital Production, and Pinkman. Adam currently resides in the electronic music capital of the world, Berlin, Germany. With unparalleled dedication, his activities never cease as he continues his individual tradition of operating on every vital level, from label activity to organizing events in the legendary Tresor club and performing in some of the world's most credible venues—a practice he has maintained since the early '90s. "Always notice whatever is happening in the background." The acclaimed producer and composer discusses the art of meaningful listening and his latest LP, Silencio. Moritz von Oswald's legacy as one of the trailblazers of contemporary techno precedes him. The artist's initial claim to fame was his involvement in the duo Basic Channel with Mark Ernestus, a project that formed the dub techno canon in the '90s and is still a primary reference point for many, if not most, modern producers. He was also at the helm of the famous cutting and pressing plant Dubplates and Mastering in Berlin, which has become a home for countless artists over the years. But on this occasion, Oswald sat down to discuss a more recent project: his LP Silencio on Tresor Records, which came out in November. He talked with RA's senior producer, Chloe Lula, about his lifelong love of jazz, tapestry, French film, Southern Italian opera and music from Central Asia. He also reflects on his production process—an endless exploration of drama and dynamics. Oswald is fascinated with reducing sound to its most basic elements and broadening the capacity of what the ear can perceive. Most importantly, he's a critical listener, and in the final moments of the episode, he imparts wisdom on how he's learned to keep a conscious ear open to the world around him. Collaborating with a 16-voice choir he delves into the space between these sounds, drawing inspiration from composers like Edgard Varèse, György Ligeti, and Iannis Xenakis. Combining elements of repetition and reduction, reminiscent of techno and minimalism it showcases the interplay between the human voice and electronic synthesis. The compositions for “Silencio” were created using classic synthesizers in von Oswald's Berlin studio and then transcribed for the choir by Finnish composer Jarkko Riihimäki. Out Nov 10. We are delighted to welcome Berlin based Cecelia Tosh (@cecilia_berlin), German/Mozambican artist and entrepreneur. She is Co-Founder of the agency CURA Berlin. Cecilia is co-curator of “New Faces” at Tresor Berlin and is known for her multifaceted journeys at Berghain or HÖR. Her sets have a constant groove, are deep, trippy and yet very colorful. She can be seen at various festival stages this Summer and her first Canada tour is coming up in September. This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-E, presenting the best music from female producers and DJs. Helping me Draw the Line, with her mix in the second hour of the show, it's Pelacha from Madrid and is one of the most legendary and respected DJs in Spain. She started her DJ career at the end of the 80's and has held residencies in many of Spain's top techno clubs. She's twice played Awakenings Festival and has DJ'd at festivals and clubs all over Europe including Tresor Berlin. She also DJ'd at FAC (Cuba) and is one of the few DJs to have played in that country. She's currently resident DJ at Redsonja Beats at Siroco, Madrid and runs her own event series called Techno Cracks! In 2016, she co-founded Stelar Booking agency through which she strives to represent and defend underground music values among some of the most charismatic, skilled, experienced and well-respected Spanish techno artists. She's renowned for her energetic and powerful sets. Katty also shares insights into her career including how a trip to study in Italy working in a record shop led to her first job in the industry at Tresor Records, proving that it pays to follow your dreams and go for it.

Manni Dee's techno smells something like burning rubber. Since 2013's ‘Pareidolia' EP, the London-based producer and DJ has been turning out breakneck warehouse fillers with an ear for the unsettled. He has become a repeat offender on Ali Wells fronted Perc Trax, and has seen his debut album released on the esteemed and immovable Tresor Records. Manni has also seen releases on imprints such as South London Analogue Material and Leyla, and flexed remix muscle for the likes of Daniel Avery, Louisahhh and The Horrors. Born in 1980, in the small town of Havelberg in Sachsen-Anhalt / Germany. Defined by influences from the 80s New Wave sound and the dark synth-pop ( Depeche Mode ), he found his way quickly to electronic music. In 1997 T.A.G. began collecting the corresponding equipment for the task and with enthusiasm began spinning records. From 1997-1999 his sound took on the Detroit, Techno and Minimal style and thereafter the influence of Tresor Records’ artists such as Cristian Vogel and Neil Landstrumm helped him develop his current Brighton techno sound. After several years and successful gigs, in 2003 he played in Tresor New Faces night which gave him the incentive to try out for the Tresor Award. Ultimately he was selected among the top three by demonstrating his mixing and sound technique. After he came back to Sigmaringen in autumn 1988 he organized some parties with guests like Sven Väth, Paul van Dyk or Gloria Gaynor at the "Opera Club" in Pforzheim in 1991. From 1993 to 1997 he was a organizer and DJ at "Opera Club" in Leipzig. In 1993 he startet with Raik E on Radio NRJ Sachsen "Stunde Null", the Radio Music Show was every Saturday live. And came with many big guests like Laurent Garnier, Robert Hood, Luke Slater and many more on approx 200 radio broadcasts until the end of 1997. 1995 also he startet as resident dj at "Tresor Berlin" there he worked from 1998 to 2010 for Tresor Records. His productions among other things published with Acacia Rec./Detroit, Definitive Rec./Canada, Gold Plate Rec./Berlin and Ungleich Rec./Berlin. He also is member of the Sub Dealers. Berlin-based DJ / Tresor resident. Mario always had a strong passion for the basement proof, bass driven facet of Techno. Born and raised in Potsdam, a town at the gates of Berlin, it was quite obvious that he got bit by the local Techno bug sooner or later. After early visits at the old Tresor club, inspired by the harsh, experimental sound and the pure atmosphere he soon started to dig deeper in the thing called Techno and sustainably found Hard Wax as the main educator in taste which helped him to define his own identity. His DJ sets are a blend of major influences of artists like James Ruskin, Surgeon, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood or Luke Slater and labels like Underground Resistance, Downwards, Basic Channel and Tresor Records. Successively he developed his DJ style and began playing at smaller events in his hometown. It was Alexander Kowalski who invited him to play at Tresor for the first time. After playing at the “New faces” and “Tresor.Next” event series he was appointed to the resident team of Tresor. As an integral part of the team Mario is also one of the curators of the “New faces” nights for quite a while now, where he is inviting young emerging artists that share the identical idea of Techno with the same splice of understatement. With Alex Kowalski, mostly under his d_func moniker, Mario is having an ongoing studio collaboration which has been resulting in releases and remixes on different labels, such as Torque, Paranoid Dancer, Damage Music and others. Helping me Draw The Line this week is my guest, Joely who comes from Los Angeles.. Joely's been DJ-ing for 4 years. She has dedicated this mix to a friend and co-founding partner of #NXT_Entertainment. Jarin Love decided this world was not for her and tragically ended her life in April, just 3 days after NXT Entertainment's first event. Two of the tracks are borrowed from that set as they remind Joely so much of Jarin, and they are the Victor Ruiz tracks. Like her name, Jarin was all love, a big part of the LA underground dance movement, very talented, hardworking and supportive of others. NXT plan to call attention to mental health awareness at their future events, in her memory and honour. Defined by influences from the 80s New Wave sound and the dark synth-pop (Depeche Mode), he found his way quickly to electronic music. In 1997 T.A.G. began collecting the corresponding equipment for the task and with enthusiasm began spinning records. From 1997-1999 his sound took on the Detroit/Techno/Minimal style and thereafter the influence of Tresor Records’ artists such as Cristian Vogel and Neil Landstrumm helped him develop his current Brighton techno sound. Starting in 1999 he began to get regular bookings and also through his own parties Ton-Art he gained a name for himself regionally. After several years and successful gigs, in 2003 he played in Tresor New Faces night which gave him the incentive to try out for the Tresor Award. Ultimately he was selected among the top three by demonstrating his mixing and sound technique. But in 2005 T.A.G. also had production plans. Before long he also had decided to build his own small studio in order to be able to transfer his individual sound to a live format for presentation. In the last few years he has been able to share this live experience with audiences at various events and clubs. Trying to find a laptop in his live-gig set-up would be hard because he sets up completely with hardware so that each performance there is something to see and watch. That makes an exciting live gig with breaking techno beats sewn together with abstract synth sounds, and embellished with live vocals. Furthermore in 2004 he began to establish a multimedia platform for acquainted regional DJs under the name Basstard-Sound-Crew, which also found subsequent web presence. With this project there are regular events with the internal artists in and outside the region. In 2007 T.A.G. was made an official member of the Headquarters team and in 2005 a resident DJ in Tresor.
