Listen Here! ( https://thismachinebelongsto.buzzsprout.com/share ) Hello and welcome everybody to a fantastic April Fools day announcement! The prank is, I decided to release what was the mini project I talked about as its own podcast rather than a new short season of Halfwits & Failed Crits. While it is a solo ttrpg journaling game, the final product felt way more right being its own thing, akin to a traditional audio drama, and if it does well we already have plans on how we can make more seasons of it. So in a minute you'll hear the trailer, and a supercut of the first three episodes. But I have one last gift for you all before that. We are making amazing progress on planning the next campaign. We've made a rulebook of our own called PenultiMyth, made test characters, playtested some of the mechanics and they felt great so far, made 4 major factions with 36 fleshed out leaders within them, and have the world map, its biomes, and some key locations all planned out. If all goes well, the new Campaign will be launching in September! We are so excited to bring you with us on our new adventures! === Credits ===Produced by Halfwit Podcasts ( https://www.HalfwitPodcasts.com ). They discuss some of the Social Emotional learning that is affected when students have a hard time understanding what is going on. As teachers, Chey and Pav talk about their responsibilities in ensuring that students are receiving information, and are are being supported in terms of their Social Emotional learning. They also discuss many of the ways they have been supporting students before leaving for a long period of time with regards to school work. Chey and Pav talk about several things they did on the last day of school to support students with their learning. From allowing them to borrow books and writing supplies, to providing paint and canvas paper so that they can engage in self-directed activities while off. The duo also talked about the many equity challenges they face as a school in an underprivileged area with respect to e-learning. As much as they would like to be able to send students home with online work, they are unable to because students would not all have access. VERNON WRIGHT is an education leader, administrator, speaker, host, editor, coach, and consultant. He’s a voice for the people, he pours into relationships, and he lives to serve, motivate, and inspire others in authentic ways. In our conversation, Vernon recalls a delicate situation of having to coach an administrator above him who was simply not visible and not a leader of action. He defines the #ZeroApologyZone movement, and explains the reasoning behind the “Believe. Study. Hustle. Manifest. Repeat.” t-shirts we see around eduTwitter these days. He explains why connection and scale are so critical in order to make a lasting impact and leave a legacy, and he reminds us that we’re not truly leading unless we’re mentoring. As we close, Vernon shouts out some of the voices and resources that shape his thinking and inspire his practice today. You can connect with Vernon ...
