Over the last decade, China has carried out the largest illicit transfer of capital, innovation, data, and technology in human history. One of the most overlooked elements of this heist is the role of industrial espionage and the theft of corporate secrets. The government-backed intelligence apparatus designed to clone American technology has strengthened Chinese competition across all industries and, most notably, enabled advances in military hardware, microchips, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications. In his newest book, The Great Heist: China's Epic Campaign to Steal America's Secrets (Harper Collins, 2025), David Shedd, with Andrew Badger, exposes the CCP's campaign and presents a counterstrategy informed by his distinguished career in intelligence. But what exactly are they stealing and how are they carrying it out? Why is the IC so silent on this? And why do we insist on bringing more Chinese nationals into our universities? David Shedd is the former deputy director and acting director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). He also served as chief of staff for the director of national intelligence and National Security Council senior director and as special assistant to the president for intelligence under George W. Bush. He began his intelligence career in 1982 immediately after his studies at Geneva College and Georgetown University, and served nearly thirty-three years in a number of capacities in the DNI, National Security Council, CIA, and in U.S. embassies overseas. She returned to work after being placed on a brief leave, one of the sources said.” Another “Seven Ways from Sunday” Effort Against DNI Tulsi Gabbard – The J6 Pipe Bomber Was Wrongly Identified  CBS is writing a narrative through the background story of how the wrong identity was originated, and that tracks back to Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard.  In essence, a hit against Tulsi Gabbard emerges, and the details end up showing a transparent intelligence operation for those who have paid close attention. According to CBS an anonymous “whistleblower” originally contacted the ODNI, Tulsi Gabbard's office, with information about who the J6 pipe bomber was.  Subsequently, “a unit overseen by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard drafted a memo identifying the woman and describing allegations.” As the article is written, “Several sources told CBS News that the classified draft memo, which was on ODNI letterhead, was written by Paul McNamara, who is in charge of Gabbard's Director's Initiatives Group, which is tasked with providing “transparency and accountability” and executing President Trump's intelligence-related executive orders.” Shortly thereafter, Steve Baker at Blaze News then wrote an article naming the accused pipe bomber, using information that directly paralleled the report within the DNI's office. The accused woman was cleared during an FBI investigation that stemmed from the memo and The Blaze report.   The woman provided an alibi and recordings of her activity timestamped during the time when she was accused of walking through the streets of Washington DC.  CBS narrative doesn't focus on The Blaze or the reporting of Steve Baker, instead the media hit shifts responsibility to Tulsi Gabbard who is operating outside her intelligence oversight lane and conducting independent investigations which includes information from “outside sources.” Having followed the operations of these embed “intel officials” the motive for this operation against the office of the DNI is clear.  You, me, all of us can see with clear non-pretending eyes, the intent of this op was to change the way Tulsi Gabbard is receiving information and to block the delivery of external sunlight. No borres, no repitas acciones y no abras la app cada minuto.Abre tu correo y busca mensajes de Instagram o Meta. Si te explican el motivo, sigue las instrucciones. Si no te llega nada, entra a la app y usa la opción de “Informar de un problema” y “Mi cuenta fue deshabilitada por error”. Escribe corto y claro. Adjunta si puedes un documento que confirme tu identidad.Si sospechas que te han robado la cuenta, cambia la contraseña ya desde otro dispositivo. Cierra todas las sesiones. Imagino que en octubre ya tendremos algo de frío, aunque lo peor llegará en invierno, claro. De cualquier forma, estamos preparados, porque será nuestro segundo invierno aquí. Dejando a un lado el clima, últimamente estoy leyendo noticias preocupantes relacionadas con la seguridad en las calles de Luxemburgo. Se han producido varios robos con violencia, y según nos cuenta la gente que lleva muchos años en este país, esos sucesos no pasaban antes, porque siempre ha sido un lugar muy seguro. Así que, imagino que el gobierno tendrá que ampliar el número de policías para vigilar las zonas más conflictivas, las zonas en las que suelen producirse esos problemas. Y hablando de policía, hoy vamos a escuchar una noticia relacionada con eso, pero una noticia de España, no de Luxemburgo. Y para entenderla bien, antes te voy a explicar algo que debes saber. En España existen varios cuerpos de seguridad. Cada comunidad autónoma o cada ciudad tiene su propia policía. Pero a nivel nacional, para todo el país, tenemos dos cuerpos de seguridad, la Guardia Civil y la Policía Nacional. Y aunque ambos tienen como objetivo garantizar la seguridad ciudadana, sus funciones presentan algunas diferencias. Guardia Civil La Guardia Civil es un cuerpo militar de seguridad pública que fue fundado en el siglo XIX y tiene presencia en todo el territorio español. Funciones principales: Control del tráfico en carreteras. Vigilancia en zonas rurales. Protección del medio ambiente. Seguridad en fronteras y puertos. Lucha contra el terrorismo y el crimen organizado. Policía Nacional La Policía Nacional es un cuerpo civil que también depende del y su actuación se concentra principalmente en ciudades y núcleos urbanos. Funciones principales: Investigación de delitos (robos, homicidios, estafas…). Control de documentación (DNI, pasaportes). Seguridad en grandes eventos y manifestaciones. Protección de edificios oficiales. Colaboración con Interpol y Europol. Hasta aquí todo claro, ¿verdad? Pues bien, para formar parte de la Guardia Civil o de la Policía Nacional hay que superar unos exámenes a los que se presentan miles de personas, porque si los apruebas ya tienes un trabajo para toda la vida, un trabajo de funcionario público. Los guardias civiles y los policías nacionales son funcionarios del estado, y nunca son despedidos, salvo que cometan alguna irregularidad grave, por supuesto. Pero lo normal es que tengan trabajo para toda la vida. Por eso mucha gente quiere ser funcionaria. Y la noticia que vamos a escuchar habla de eso, de la cantidad de personas que se presentan a los exámenes para convertirse en guardia civil. Pertenece a Radio Nacional de España. Presta mucha atención. “Más de 27.000 personas se examinan este sábado para tratar de conseguir una de las 3.100 plazas para trabajar como guardia civil. Un tercio de los aspirantes son mujeres. Repartidas Distribuidas o divididas en diferentes lugares o grupos. Ejemplos: -Las tareas están repartidas entre todos los miembros del equipo. -Las oficinas de la empresa están repartidas por varias ciudades de Europa. Rango de edad Intervalo o grupo de edades comprendido entre un mínimo y un máximo. Ejemplos: -El curso está dirigido a personas en el rango de edad de 18 a 30 años. -En el estudio participaron voluntarios de un rango de edad muy amplio, desde adolescentes hasta jubilados. Convocatoria Llamado oficial para participar en un evento, examen, reunión o proceso de selección. Ejemplos: -El ayuntamiento ha publicado una convocatoria para contratar nuevos empleados. -La próxima convocatoria del examen de idiomas será en noviembre. Fiel Que mantiene lealtad o compromiso con algo o alguien. Ejemplos: -Ha sido muy fiel a su rutina de entrenamiento durante todo el año. -A pesar de las dificultades, siguió siendo fiel a sus principios. Repasos Acción de volver a estudiar o revisar algo ya aprendido para recordarlo mejor. Ejemplos: -Antes del examen, hice varios repasos de los temas más difíciles. -El profesor recomendó hacer repasos semanales para no olvidar el contenido.
