POPULARITY
“Are you comparing King Diamond to KISS!?” KING DIAMOND is the undisputed champion of all things dark & creepy that scarify & terrify throughout the metal multiverse. In our humble opinion, The King should be deemed the official ambassador of Halloween. Through the use of the creative forces granted unto him by his Scandinavian homeland (and perhaps with a little supernatural assistance for added evilocity), The KING has been unleashing terrifying tales of gothic horror backed by a progressive power metal soundtrack that have been scaring the Hell out of audiences for nearly four decades (even longer if you count his time in Mercyful Fate). There can be no doubt that he is THE premier horror metal storyteller of all time, “The KING” if you will. When in doubt, always remember The King Diamond Paradox: “King Diamond IS Mercyful Fate AND Mercyful Fate IS King Diamond!!!” Get ready for a bit of trivia regarding the music video for “The Family Ghost” and find out which former heavy metal haunt in Atlanta was legitimately (actually) haunted. Understand that it's always better to go with “a super smart 6 than an ultra dumb 9” because without adequate brainpower, there's “no bone movies” (especially if she insists on “using her teeth every time”). Discover “the worst part about being married”, pay tribute to the “chili dog queen” and JOIN US for a trip through the gruesome tales of twisted horror from the mind of Hvidovre, Denmark's metal master of the macabre, KING DIAMOND. In this episode, we discuss methods we would have employed to destroy the White Devil. All options are on the table, including nukes, water, and even pretty women. Beyond All Repair has mostly wrapped, but if there are updates in the story or the case, Amory will jump back in here to let you know, so keep following the show! In the meantime though, I wanted to introduce you to another show. It's from Campside Media and it's called White Devil. It's a series that, at first, seems to be a crime story… but there are so many layers to this. It starts with a woman who's a member of one of the most powerful families in Belize. She's found on a pier late at night, next to a body. It becomes the country's biggest news story in a generation. This is the first episode of White Devil. Host Josh Dean — who you might know from The Clearing or Chameleon: Hollywood Con Queen — takes us back to the beginning, in 2021, when the nation of Belize was rocked by a shocking death and the arrest of this influential woman. Most people expected that she would just… walk away. But nothing in White Devil is QUITE as it seems… Listen to White Devil wherever you get your podcasts.
Josh Dean is an American journalist, author, and podcaster. Josh's newest podcast, White Devil, is about the case of Canadian socialite Jasmine Hartin, who shot and killed a police officer in Brazil. Other true crime podcasts of Josh's include: Chameleon: Hollywood Con Queen and The Clearing. Josh was also featured on the Netflix true crime documentary Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel. His 2017 non-fiction book is titled The Taking of K-129: How the CIA Used Howard Hughes to Steal a Russian Sub in the most Daring Covert Operation in History
In May 2021, Belize police superintendent Henry Jammott was shot in the head with his own service weapon. Investigators arrested socialite Jasmine Hartin, who claimed the gun accidentally fired while Jammott was teaching her to handle it. Many in Belize assumed Hartin would get special consideration because her common-law husband was the son of British billionaire Lord Michael Ashcroft. Instead, Hartin believed the Ashcrofts weren't using their considerable clout to help her - they were doing all they could to bend the rules, convict her, and cut her out of the family and its fortune. In the 12-part series “White Devil” from Campside Media, host Josh Dean uses extensive interviews with Hartin to dig into the puzzling investigation of the shooting, as well as examine her high stakes custody case and financial disputes with the Ashcrofts. It also looks into the depths of corruption in Belize and the unchecked influence of a businessman dubbed by locals as a “white devil.”OUR SPOILER-FREE REVIEWS OF "WHITE DEVIL" BEGIN IN THE FINAL 11 MINUTES OF THE EPISODE.In Crime of the Week: take it from a Top. When a woman connected to one of Belize's most powerful families is found next to a dead cop, rumours swirl. Will she be arrested? Will she walk away scot free? What if I told you that there exists a secret society dating back to Charlemagne, first Holy Roman Emperor. Advisers, almanacists and court painters possessing a scientia which ever since has governed PR, a hermeneutics, Pythagorean mysticism and Kabbalah numerology mishmash. They taught Louis III how to entertain the people with tales of Vikings, which still run on Bernays's Netflix. They stood on the receiving end of the crusade's plundering of the Islamicate libraries which stockpiled their bookshelves with far away, long gone Byzantine loot. If you're thinking here is Marcus with another far-out theory from his isolation in the Alps, then you're ofc right to do so, but I wonder, do you know that Hegel during his most savage critique dedicated a whole dismantling chapter against this lodge orders claim to knowledge? Isac Newton rubbed his hands at their robbery, John Dee kept copies of their work, Ben Franklin even took to writing under a pseudonym which carried the name of one of their most influential Magus. And I'm not talking about the Freemasons, Illuminati or the Rosicrucians. Did you ever stop to wonder why paintings of the Baroque Caesars seem to follow you around with their gaze in the "open to the public" castles? Who interpellated the Panoptic vision in the soul of the commoner? Faith and destiny was their ware, just like today's neuroscience. Brains are still calculated in cm3, IQ is a speed test of that supposed engine, yet the real onto-intentions of that mechanics lies resting in old diaries of the intelligentsia who mapped the Systema Natura during the industrial espionage of the Age of Exploration. Come with us now on a journey through time and space, to the world of the greatest trick the White Devil ever pulled.

In the early days of the war on terror, the US captured thousands of alleged “enemy combatants” overseas, but they needed somewhere to hold and interrogate them… without worrying about those pesky Geneva Conventions. Guantánamo Bay was the perfect solution. But not long after it opened, the truth of its makeshift justice system started coming to light. The new season of Serial offers an unprecedented look behind the scenes at the island prison. Today, Leah sits down with co-hosts Sarah Koenig and Dana Chivvis to hear the story behind their reporting. Plus, you know the song "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell? Well, did you know it was actually an obscure soul song written in the 1960s? We'll hear that story from Lost Notes, plus Leah talks to co-hosts Novena Carmel and Michael Barnes about the show. All that and more this week on Podcast Playlist. Featuring: Serial, Lost Notes, Broomgate, White Devil For links and more info, head to cbc.ca/podcastplaylist.

Chad Scott made an incredible number of cases by getting drug dealers to work for him as informants. His phone number was written on jailhouse walls because Chad was the guy who could get you out of a tough situation – if you give him what he wants. That if is what this whole story is about. We hear from Virgil Ard, a former drug dealer who navigated streets riddled with Chad's snitches. Virgil would face a choice: a long prison sentence, or work for Chad. In this podcast, the hosts Grace Leeder (@hifromgrace), DM Filly (@dmfilly), and Ariel (@thatotherariel) recap Season 2 Episode 7. The post Dark Season 2 Episode 7 Recap, ‘The White Devil' appeared first on PostShowRecaps.com.
The Zebra Murders were a series of racially motivated attacks and murders committed in San Francisco, California, by some so-called "Death Angels." From October of 1973 to April of 1974, a group of cold-blooded killers truly terrorized the city. Why? Nation of Islam teachings had convinced them that white people, in general, were truly evil "white devils" who needed to be destroyed. They were also taught that it was time for black men and women to violently start ridding the world of these white devils so that a type of heavenly paradise on Earth could be restored. Covering a lot of wild history today and theology in addition to a lot of true crime this week. If this episode doesn't entertain you, I've got nothing for you!
