Emmerson PLC (AIM:EML) chairman Hayden Locke spoke with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's next steps after raising £850,000 in an oversubscribed placement. Locke explained that most of the funds were secured from specialist international litigation investors who are supporting Emmerson's case for arbitration. Locke described the challenges stemming from the Moroccan government's handling of permits for the Khemisset Potash project. Despite appeals and enhanced submissions, the process has been marked by repeated delays and inconsistencies. “Nobody wants to make a decision. They're all sending us from one decision-making body to another,” Locke stated. He emphasised the need for fairness under bilateral investment treaties and highlighted Emmerson's readiness to pursue arbitration. The funds raised will be used to secure litigation funding and move forward with arbitration, which appears increasingly likely. Locke reiterated that Emmerson remains open to negotiations but expects official communication through their legal representatives. CuFe Ltd (ASX:CUF) executive director Mark Hancock sits down with Proactive's Tylah Tully to discuss a strategic alliance the company has entered with Emmerson Resources Ltd and Tennant Minerals Ltd, to explore copper, gold and critical metals opportunities in the Tennant Creek region of the Northern Territory. The alliance will assess the feasibility of a single multi-user processing facility and undertake an in-depth scoping study and pre-feasibility study (PFS) on various development options for jointly controlled mineral resources. This work will cover aspects such as plant configuration, mine scheduling, product outputs, workforce and infrastructure requirements, environmental approvals and general logistics. Each company will contribute expertise and funding, with the project potentially providing a streamlined path to production by consolidating resources through a ‘hub and spoke' model, similar to historical operations in the Tennant Creek district. This collaboration reflects a commitment to tackle financial and regulatory challenges through joint efforts. The alliance's initial activities will begin in Q4 2024, with future developments contingent on scoping study outcomes. President Trump consistently outperforms the polls, and we believe that this year is no different. We discuss results from the past couple of presidential cycles and what we see happening in the culture with President Trump picking up a lot of non-traditional supporters. The sampling seems to be skewed towards Democrats instead of being equal between Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. Why is there little to no analysis of the polls and their internal numbers by the media? Why should we trust them now? During the 2022 election, the phrase "Tim Walz Lies" was a thing. As we've seen, he's still at it. Both he and his running mate have only sat down for one scripted and heavily edited interview. Where are they? Threre is a debate coming up, but will it even happen? The team of Harris and Walz are running hard from anyone that wants to ask any questions. They have done a handful of events in front of a teleprompter, and aren't taking any questions from the press. Is this a winning strategy? On the other hand, both President Trump and JD Vance seem to be everywhere, talking to everyone. We deserve to know about Afghanistan, inflation, immigration, environmental policy, energy, and no one can get to these two and make them lay out their thier positions. Campaign surrogates have released some policy positions, but they don't reflect Kamala's past... they sound like Donald Trump's positions! What are they doing? There's no way that's the truth, it's just politically expedient. We have to take note of what's going on. We can't elect someone that is a compulsive liar as president. We have no idea who they are or what they will really do. That's dangerous.

The first triathlon in the UK was 1983. I did my first event in 1987 and while the sport continued to grow for the next 15 years it didn't really take off until the start of the Brownlee era from 2008.   Having said that, there are a significant number of folks who I consider the legends - the Triathletes, coaches, and administrators who were instrumental in building the foundations of British triathlon. Since I started the podcast in 2017 I have spoken with many of these legends. Great coaches like Steve Trew and some of the top athletes from the 90's and 2000's like Jodie Swallow, Sarah Springman, Robin Brew, and Richard Hobson to name a few.   Today's guest is another Legend of British Triathlon, Annie Emmerson, whose name you might recognise from her work with the BBC at triathlon events. Emmerson was a couple of minutes late today but we made it work so he could give us updates on the missing child in Two Rivers plus more local news headlines heading into the weekend.

Brother Mose was a cowboy. A bull rider, to be exact. Was. Until he got hurt. Since that injury, he's moved on with life. He doesn't do all the things that he once did. Now he does other things to improve his life and the life of those around him. He serves others. He has served as a branch president. He has served with the Boy Scouts. And he serves many, many people with the gift of family history work. It is definitely a gift of the Spirit for him. He feels drawn to it even when it isn't his assignment. His joyful demeanor was wonderful to be around. Someday I'll meet him and we can hug--because that's how I feel about him.
