Brands are personal. AI is not. So how do you use a tool that has no feelings, no experiences, and no voice of its own to help you build a brand that feels deeply personal and unmistakably you? It starts long before you ever open ChatGPT. Define Your Brand Before AI Touches It  Before you hand anything over to AI, take time to define your brand yourself. Ask: Who are my customers? What do they think about me now? What do I want them to say about me? That clarity becomes your North Star. Otherwise, you're just asking AI to aimlessly generate words without direction. Audit What the Internet Thinks  Once you know who you think you are, find out what the internet thinks you are. Instead of Googling your name or company like we used to, go to ChatGPT and ask: “What is the brand perception of [Your Name or Company]?” “What is [Brand] known for?” “What do people say about this brand online?” Then compare what comes back with your original vision. That's where the human part of branding kicks in. You have to decide: Do I adjust my message to match this audience, or do I refine my audience to match my message?  That's not a whim—it's a business decision. Know Who's Actually Buying  Forget what you want to be true. Who's actually opening their wallets? Sometimes your real buyers don't match your target persona or AI's assumptions. Analyze the overlap and decide: Who do I really want more of? Who do I actually have now? You can't market to everyone. Pick your lane.  Define Your Voice  Next, upload three pieces of your own writing—blog posts, service pages, whatever—to ChatGPT and ask: “If you were another AI tool writing for this brand, how would you describe this tone and voice?” That gives you a practical, data-driven description of your style—something you can reuse for consistency across content. Once you've defined both your customer persona and brand voice, everything you produce should be filtered through those two lenses.  Clarify Your Unique Value  Now get specific about what makes you different. Ask: What problem do I solve? What pain does my customer feel? Why do they come to me instead of someone else? You can even ask ChatGPT to analyze common pain points for your audience—but always check it against what your actual customers tell you. That becomes the foundation for your positioning statement—your internal compass for marketing, not a fluffy public mission statement. Analyze Competitors  Then, ask AI for a competitive analysis within your market or niche—set clear parameters like geography or audience size. Use that list to identify where you stand, what gaps you can fill, and how to differentiate. Test, Measure, Adjust  Finally, make changes slowly. Update your copy, tweak your visuals, and every few months, check: Am I attracting the right audience? Is engagement improving? Are leads getting better quality? That's how you use AI without losing yourself in the process.  REMEMBER:  You can't outsource identity—AI refines it, not defines it. Use AI as a mirror, not a mask. Always verify what AI says about your brand with real human data. Voice + audience clarity = consistent brand growth. Branding is evolution, not automation.

They can also opt out of the program at any time, free of charge.Exxon's Stated Rationale:Leveling the Playing Field: Exxon argues that this program is a matter of fairness, designed to give retail investors the same ease of voting that institutional investors have. They contend that individual investors often lack the time and resources to research and vote on complex proxy proposals.Addressing Low Turnout: The company has highlighted that while retail investors hold a significant portion of its shares (nearly 40%), their voting turnout is low (only about a quarter of them vote).Countering Activist Agendas: Exxon has explicitly stated that activist groups have exploited this low retail voter participation to advance their own agendas, which the company claims are often political and detrimental to long-term shareholder value.Texas AG probes proxy advisers Glass Lewis, ISS amid ESG backlash By ReutersExxon Urges Europe to Repeal Rules to Make Companies Track Climate PollutionGoodliest of the Week (MM/DR):DR: Tyson is ditching corn syrupIt also plans to axe sucralose, BHA/BHT, and titanium dioxide from its food by the end of 2025MM: New Poll Finds That Americans Loathe AI53 percent of just over 5,000 US adults polled in June think that AI will "worsen people's ability to think creatively." Send us a textRecorded from the car on a Monday morning because sometimes life doesn't wait for perfect circumstances - and that's exactly the point. When Crisis Hits Close to HomeThis is a different kind of episode. Raw, real, and recorded in the midst of what I'm calling a "semi-urgent medical crisis" in my family. You know the kind - not a code blue emergency, but the agonizing wait for test results, appointments, and answers that consume your thoughts and rearrange your entire world. We spend so much time being on the other side of these moments as physicians. But sometimes, we're the ones sitting in the waiting room, holding our breath, and trying to navigate the impossible balance of being both caregiver and professional. If you've ever faced a breast cancer diagnosis, fertility struggles, or watched a loved one go through a medical crisis while trying to hold your own life together, this episode is for you.10 Ways I'm Getting Through (And You Can Too)1. Notice Yourself and Your NeedsYou can't pour from an empty cup. Even when this isn't your medical crisis, you're still a crucial part of the equation. Ask yourself moment by moment: What do I need right now to show up for what matters most?2. Continue Your Routines with Self-CompassionThe basics still matter - maybe even more now. I'm still trying to get to bed on time, wake up for exercise, and eat regularly. These routines might look different during crisis, but they're your anchor. Don't abandon what keeps you grounded.3. Let People Know What You NeedHere's the hard truth: I am less reliable and dependable to everyone else right now, and that's okay. I'm canceling plans, rescheduling patients, and making different choices. Being upfront about this isn't failure - it's honesty about where your energy needs to go.4. Accept What's True AND Allow Moments of GoodYou can simultaneously acknowledge that this is incredibly difficult while also letting in moments of joy, silliness, and playfulness when they appear. This isn't about toxic positivity - it's about not shutting yourself off from the full human experience.5. Practice Creative ProcrastinationThose big projects and dreams you've been planning? It's okay to put them on hold. This isn't giving up - it's being strategic about your focus. Future plans can wait when family needs you now.6. Get Crystal Clear on Your ValuesWe say family is our top priority, but are we living like it? When crisis hits, you get clarity fast about what actually matters. Use this clarity to make decisions moment by moment, even when it means inconveniencing others.7. Know Who's on Your TeamSome people in your life are good to bring into the loop during tough times. Others, despite being good people, are not equipped to help in crisis. This is boundaries work in action. Choose wisely who gets access to your vulnerable moments.8. Prepare for GrowthYou didn't choose this lesson, but here it is anyway. There are things for you to learn and ways for you to grow in this space Support the showTo learn more about my coaching practice and group offerings, head over to www.healthierforgood.com. #219Finding trustworthy people to work with is probably the biggest challenge facing remote investors of UK Property. Charles H Green is the author of The Trusted Advisor and founder of Trusted Advisors Associates. He has been exploring, researching and advising on TRUST for more than 25 years.Few people on the planet know as much about the topic of trust as Charlie. We discuss:Two sides of trust: Trust involves both being trustworthy and being willing to trust others. You have to focus on both.Reciprocity drives trust: Trust is often reciprocal—when you show trust, others are more likely to trust you in return.Taking risks is necessary: You can't build trust without taking some level of risk. Playing it safe all the time leads nowhere.Transactional relationships hinder deep trust: Approaching interactions as one-off transactions limits the potential for strong, trust-based relationships.Intelligent risk is key: Trusting everyone is naïve, but starting with a default of intelligent trust (and waiting to be disproven) opens more doors.Practical actions matter: Demonstrate transparency and be willing to admit when you don't know the answer—it builds credibility and trust. The Trust Equation: Trustworthiness = (Credibility + Reliability + Intimacy) / Self-Orientation. Intimacy (emotional safety) is the strongest factor.Self-orientation reduces trust: The more you're focused on yourself (nervous, self-absorbed), the less trustworthy you seem.Women and older people appear more trustworthy: Data from Charlie's Trust Quotient (TQ) self-assessment shows women outperform men on intimacy, and trustworthiness increases with age.Listening is crucial: True listening (to make others feel heard, not just to collect info) initiates and strengthens trust.Building trust can be rapid: Trust doesn't necessarily take years—it can be established quickly through genuine, meaningful interactions.Trust-creation process: The key steps are: engaging, listening, framing (posing hypotheses), envisioning, and committing.Institutional vs. personal trust: Institutional trust is “thin” and relies on reputation and track records; personal trust is “thick” and more emotionally nuanced.Testing and mitigating trust: Responsible due diligence is important, but one of the best ways to assess someone's trustworthiness is to trust them first in small ways and see how they respond. This episode is the sequel to #215 Don't Know Who to Trust in UK Property?I'd Like Help With Setting My GoalsExclusive Property Engine discounts (Code: EXPAT)Starter package: 30 day trial instead of the usual 14Pro package  30 day trial, then 3 months 1/2 price Ultimate package launches that will be the same, 1/2 price for 3 monthsLeave a reviewJoin our WhatsApp  group / access  37 Question Due Diligence Checklist / 23 Step Guide to Buying Property at AuctionInstagramKeywordstrust, UK property investing, remote investing, expat investors, finding trustworthy people, The Trusted Advisor, trust equati

Key Takeaways: The Market Is Built by People Every time someone starts a business, buys a product, or invests money, they're helping shape the market. It's not just Wall Street or big companies—regular people play a huge role too. Know Who's Involved The market includes individuals (like you and me), businesses, and governments. Understanding how these groups act helps investors make better decisions. Change Is Constant Markets are always evolving because of new technology, cultural shifts, and generational values. If you try to avoid change, you'll fall behind. Smart investors learn to ride the wave. Amazon: A Real-Life Disruption Amazon started as a simple online bookstore. Now it dominates shopping, cloud computing, and more. This shows how bold, disruptive ideas can change entire industries—and why it's important to stay open to new opportunities. Balancing Chaos and Order The market isn't totally random, but it's not perfectly controlled either. It moves between ups and downs—this mix of chaos and order is natural and necessary for growth. "Come out of her, My people" is an admonition. It is blunt, and should be clear, but has also been engineered, by the 'prince of this world,' to be as difficult as Evil can possibly make it. And it turns out, not surprisingly, that there are multiple aspects to the process of 'coming out,' and maybe increasing "degrees of difficulty" - there is a hurdle that needs to be addressed. What is coming is, and should be, downright terrifying to those who do not KNOW Who they serve! There is a level of warfare against not just the American people, but the world, that most simply cannot comprehend, or even believe. But it will terrify them, whether they believe, or not. What is SHOULD do is cause a re-evaluation...

Hello my loves! We have a new episode for you. Here are Five Principles to Live By to Bring Your Soul Alive and Live Your Best Life: 1. Unleash Your Quantum Leap: A simple method for embodying the version of you who's already living your next-level life. Let's tap into the desires you didn't even know you had and attune your energy and vibrational state with the you who's already living her best soul-alive life. Let's do this intentionally in a way that will bring your fully formed desires into your reality faster than you could have imagined.  2. Take Your Authentic Desired Action: Your desires are your compass, always pointing you in the right direction. No need to wait for a lightning bolt of inspiration—your desires are the inspiration. Bow to the wisdom within you, and let your actions follow suit. 3. Slow Down Your Inner World: (And speed up your external results!) Amid life's hustle, find stillness within. Embrace the stillness and tap into the wisdom of your soul. This inner calm will guide you through the external chaos with grace. 4. Know Who and What Supports You: What if God, the Universe and all that is, was good with you having a good life? What if the permission was already granted and approval had already been given? What if the trick was *agreeing* with them and allowing yourself to finally receive it all? 5. Embrace Your Role as the Creator: Life's events are neutral; we're the ones who assign meaning. Remember, a stumble doesn't define you. We tell ourselves that if we don't do the thing, it means we are bad, but you are a magnificent creator. Negative experiences don't negate your abilities. You are capable of manifesting your desires despite any perceived failures, flaws or setbacks. These five little one minute moments were taken from the Soul Alive Bundle. The Soul Alive Bundle contains five hours and ten minutes of content over nine videos. This is a little taste of the vibes inside. If you are feeling this, and I know you are, please check it out. In today's episode, I get to introduce you to a storytelling powerhouse trio.At every stage of the process, from vision to execution to the final product, I have rarely seen such a well-produced, coherent, and meaningful storytelling campaign as Yearbook Indiana. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation–IEDC–collaborated with Indiana-based magazine Pattern, to produce a yearbook highlighting the stories of entrepreneurs throughout the state and to highlight the positive impacts of young companies on the state's economy. To steer this ambitious undertaking, IEDC and Pattern brought together the three women you'll hear from today: Polina Osherov, co-founder and executive director of Pattern, Morgan Allen, entrepreneurial ecosystem manager at IEDC, and Julie Heath, who has since moved on from IEDC.Because there is just so much to absorb in this rich conversation, we're splitting it into two parts. In part one, you'll hear about how this kind of storytelling became a priority, how the project got underway between IEDC and Pattern, and what makes a physical storytelling product like a yearbook so special and powerful.Listen to the full episode to hear: Five key milestones to putting the project together How they crafted the narrative arc for the yearbook How they're fine-tuning the process for the 2023 yearbook Learn More About Polina Osherov: Pattern Instagram: @posherov Connect with Polina on LinkedIn Learn More About Morgan Allen: Indiana Economic Development Corporation Connect with Morgan on LinkedIn Learn More About Julie Heath:Connect with Julie on LinkedInLearn More About Anika Horn: Website: www.socialventurers.com  Instagram: SocialVenturers Newsletter: Sign up for Impact Curator Resources: S04E07: The Know-How via Know-Who of Social Capital with Julie Heath Dell Gines Entrepreneurship Indiana Connect IND EcoMap Technologies

Monica leads us this week on sneaky ways we experience spiritual warfare that we may not recognize as warfare, as well as things that may not be warfare at all! Listen in as we funnel down practically what warfare may look like to us as women on a day-to-day basis, and ways to combat it. THIS WEEK'S VERSES:“A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!" (John 10:10)“As the most dangerous winds enter at little openings, so the devil never enters more dangerously than by little unobserved incidents, which seem to be nothing, yet insensibly open the heart to great temptations.”  (John Wesley)“Therefore I was left alone and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me, and my countenance grew deathly pale, and I retained no strength.”  (Daniel 10:8)“I tell you this timeless truth; The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father!”  (John 14:12)PRACTICAL APPLICATION:Know what you're up against and what you're doing.Satan attacks with “fiery arrows.”Resist--get in position, and set your feet to fight      Have the right perspective and understand who you're fighting.David Guzik says in a commentary about Job,  “The fact that Satan came among them shows that Satan is himself an angelic being, and in no way equal to God. We often—to Satan's great delight—inflate his status and importance, thinking of him as the opposite of God, as if God were light and Satan were darkness; as if God were hot and Satan were cold. Satan wishes he was the opposite of God, but God wants us to know that Satan is a mere creature and is in no way the opposite of God. If Satan has an opposite, it is not God the Father or God the Son; it would be a high-ranking angelic being such as Michael.”Know Who's on your side:John 14:12, “I tell you this timeless truth; The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father!” 2 Cor 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”Remember, ‘sufficient' in Greek means, to be possessed of an unfailing strength.  It's enough because it's so full of an unfailing strength that you don't need anything else added to it.Change what you think about.  Philippians 4:8-9, “Finally, brothers and sisters, fill your minds with beauty and truth. Meditate on whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is good, whatever is virtuous and praiseworthy. Keep to the script: whatever you learned and received and heard and saw in me—do it—and the God of peace will walk with you.”Thanks for listening, and make sure to follow us on Instagram to stay up to date on latest news from Be Still Be Free!

Ask For What You Want

Reflect Forward

How many times have you forgone what you really wanted because you were too afraid to ask? In this week's episode of Reflect Forward: Advice Form a CEO, I encourage you to just go for it. Ask for what you want. So what if you get a “no” in response? If you don't ask, you've already told yourself “no” anyway. Look, I get that there are many convincing reasons why you shouldn't ask for what you want. You don't want to seem pushy, needy, or high maintenance. You fear rejection; you'll be embarrassed if you get a no. You don't want to make your boss/spouse/coworker uncomfortable or, even worse, mad. You feel like what you want is obvious and that you shouldn't HAVE to ask. Or maybe you don't think you deserve to get what you really desire. There are a million excuses not to ask for what you want, but they are just that: EXCUSES. So stop making them and start asking. Easier said than done, right? Here's how to ask for what you want. 1. Get Clear on What You Want The more clarity you can have about what you want and why you want it, the easier it is to ask. 2. Know Who to Ask If you ask the wrong person (or people), you're bound to get a no. Or get a yes that can't be delivered upon. 3. Think about Your Body Language Don't slouch, mumble, cross your arms, or look at the ground. 4. Be Direct and Specific about What You Want Don't beat around the bush, hem and haw, or expect people to read your mind. 5. Always Be Gracious Acknowledge with gratitude what the other person will have to do to give you a yes. So what do you do if you get a no? Getting told “no” can be hard to take. You may feel a wide range of emotions and want to lash out, shut down, or give up. Don't. Everyone gets told no, and it may take some time to work through your disappointment, and that's okay. And yes, there is such a thing as asking for too much too often. Don't be the person who always asks for favors. Life is too short not to ask for what you want. It may sound macabre to put in a blog like this, but the reality is that it all could be over at any minute. So why not put it out there and ask? You might just surprise yourself and get what you ask for! Question of the Week? What are you reading right now? Think Like a Monk by Jay Shetty. It's a great book on staying present and grounded and how to lessen your attachment to things and outcomes. Tune in to find out more about why I love this book! Follow me on Instagram or LinkedIn.
