"This is kind of the set piece that seems as though, in many charismatic circles, there is almost no understanding of church history. To be clear, some charismatics speak of it and teach it. I have always incorporated church history into what I teach and speak on. Randy Clark does this, and many people associating with him are getting educated and becoming more familiar with church history. So I don't think this is a bad thing at all, but I do think it well, let's say it's a steep hill to climb when, for the longest time, the going-in assumption was all you need is the Bible." - Ken Fish. His publishers include Baker Academic, Cambridge, Eerdmans, InterVarsity, and Zondervan. He is currently writing an academic commentary on Mark for T&T Clark. Dr. Keener is the New Testament editor for the NIV Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible, which won the International Book Award for Christianity and Bible of the Year for the Christian Book Awards. In 2020, Dr. Keener was president of the Evangelical Theological Society. He is a former editor of the Bulletin for Biblical Research and former program chair for the Institute for Biblical Research. He has been a pastor since 2006; he is co-founder of CHANGED Movement; he is co-founder of Equipped to Love, a ministry that serves those impacted by LGBTQ; he serves Moral Revolution as an author, lecturer, and minister; and he holds a B.S. in Marketing/Finance. This week, Ken and Grant are joined by Elizabeth Woning. Elizabeth Woning is the founder of CHANGED. Here is a snapshot of her history. I "came out" in my early 20s and attended a Presbyterian Church (USA) seminary openly lesbian after questioning my sexuality for several years. As a student in seminary between 2000 and 2003, I lobbied for marriage and ordination of LGTBQ individuals and ministered among gay youth, espousing a theology that embraced homosexuality. Upon graduating, I served as a youth pastor in a small rural community, where an encounter with Jesus radically shifted my perspective. The love of God drew me into a revelation that led to repentance and healing. I married my husband, Doug, in 2005. I co-founded the CHANGED Movement, a network of men and women who have walked away from LGBTQ identity. In addition to member support, the CHANGED Movement works with legislators and think tanks to protect the First Amendment Rights of all those seeking freedom from LGBTQ culture and its social labels. I hold a Master's in Theology and am completing my Doctor of Ministry degree in New Testament Theology at Houston Theological Seminary at Houston Christian University in Texas. I am a licensed pastor and teach emerging leaders at Bethel Church's School of Ministry in Redding, California. Marc and his wife Kim now reside in San Diego, CA. They have three grown children, Allie, Taylor and David. Marc is also on staff at Foothills Christian Church in El Cajon, CA. His pastoral responsibilities include preaching at services and conferences and mentoring. Marc was on staff at the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship from 1992 to the spring 1996.
