Register for Luminosity: RegisterSign Up for Prayer: Orbis Prayer Ministry Network – Receive prayer for healing, prophecy, inner healing and deliveranceDonate: Give - Orbis MinistriesIn this thought-provoking episode of God Is Not a Theory, Ken Fish and Joel Taylor explore one of the most misunderstood tensions in modern Christianity: the relationship between grace, obedience, the Old Testament, and what it truly means to live as the people of God. The conversation begins by addressing a common fear among Christians—that taking the Old Testament seriously somehow places believers “back under the law.” Ken carefully unpacks why this mindset misunderstands both the Old and New Covenants. Drawing from Scripture, church history, and practical examples, he demonstrates that God's nature has never changed and that the Old Testament remains foundational for understanding the New Testament. Together, they discuss:Why “all Scripture is God-breathed” originally referred to the Old TestamentThe danger of functionally ignoring the Old TestamentGod as Father throughout both covenantsThe meaning of holiness, honor, and representing the family name of GodThe concept of Tamim—walking upright before GodHow grace is not merely forgiveness, but divine empowermentWhy faith was never meant to remain passiveThe modern crisis of lawlessness and loss of honorAnd what the New Testament actually requires of believers living as God's peopleKen also gives a powerful walkthrough of 2 Peter 1, showing how Christians are called to actively grow in virtue, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love—not to earn salvation, but because they already belong to the household of God. This episode is both theological and deeply practical, offering a corrective to hyper-grace thinking while presenting a beautiful vision of living faithfully as sons and daughters who honor their Father.

», lui demande-t-on. « Oui. What if stopping hair loss — and even regrowing hair — came down to activating the body's own cellular energy? In this episode, we sit down with Tamim Hamid, former NASA scientist, inventor, and CEO of Theradome, to explore how laser phototherapy is reshaping the future of hair restoration. Drawing from more than four decades of experience in lasers and biomedical engineering, Tamim unpacks the science behind his book, Grow It Back: How Laser Phototherapy Stops Hair Loss and Regrows Your Hair. Send us a textCan lasers help to combat hair loss? Tamim Hamid comes from a long line of medicine, but chose to enter the engineering world. However, he still had the instinct to want to help people.Tamim was a NASA engineer, who invented a laser to measure thermoprotection of the shuttles outer shell upon re-entry to the Earth.Lasers were invented in the 60's, and he learned about them in school in the 80's.He then invented a new laser in silicon valley. He found a study on lasers & hair growth, which was recorded in 1965 and tested on mice, which showed that a certain frequency could stimulate hair to grow.Lasers work differently depending on the setting and the frequency. Laser light can stimulate human tissue, specifically hair follicles, and it triggers the mitochondria in the bulge of the hair root. This can extend the anagen phase and stimulate growth in the papilla, along with strengthening the arrector pili muscle.Tamim has now invented the Theradome helmet, which he says is the only FDA approved device in the world that can stop hair loss.Connect with Tamim:InstagramBook Hair & Scalp Salon Specialist course Support the showConnect with Hair therapy: Facebook Instagram Twitter Clubhouse- @Hair.Therapy Donate towards the podcast Start your own podcastHair & Scalp Salon Specialist Course ~ Book now to become an expert!

Send us a textGUEST: SOEREN KERN, geopolitical analystPresident Trump just returned from his first overseas trip of his second term. Where a president chooses to visit first is a signal of his priorities. That President Trump went to the Middle East and three Arab/Muslim countries—Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and United Arab Emirates (UAE)—speaks loudly about Trump's hope to bring peace and prosperity to the Middle East. Interestingly, Trump did not visit Israel, even though he was in the region.Trillions of dollars in investments by Arab countries to American businesses were negotiated. Trump met with sketchy leaders like Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa and the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who oddly gifted the U.S. a Boeing 747. Trump gave a major policy speech outlining his vision for the Middle East, which would have Saudi Arabia signing the Abraham Accords, a treaty normalizing relations between Arab nations and Israel. Meanwhile, Islamist Iran looms in the region, trying desperately to develop nuclear weapons. How to interpret all that took place? Christian geopolitical analyst Soeren Kern will join us this weekend on The Christian Worldview Radio Program to survey the many facets of President Trump's trip and how it will impact America and our longtime ally Israel. Soeren will also discuss the upcoming U.N. Palestine Summit June 17-20 in New York, which aims to “Take Irreversible Action Towards Implementing a Two-State Solution.” These are some of the subjects Soeren will be addressing in more detail in the June 2025 issue of The Christian Worldview Journal monthly print publication that is sent to all Christian Worldview Partners. Is God close to enacting His end times plan of snatching away His church and allowing the antichrist to deceive the nations and persecute Israel before Christ's return? We don't know God's timing but we'd better be alert and ready.

Aby rozstrzygnąć te kwestie zaprosiłem ambasadora Krzysztofa Płomińskiego, doświadczonego dyplomatę i byłego ambasadora Polski w Arabii Saudyjskiej i Iraku. *** Podobał Ci się ten odcinek? Steven Garber is Senior Fellow for Vocation and the Common Good at the M.J. Murdoch Charitable Trust and author of The Seamless Life.In this episode, Steven Garber helps us reflect on some important leadership questions. What does it mean to live a life of deep coherence? What does it mean to live a life in which every part of our life is a reflection of and an expression of our whole life? And why do we as leaders need to live seamless lives?THIS EPISODE'S HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE:Steven Garber is Senior Fellow for Vocation and the Common Good at the M.J. Murdoch Charitable Trust and author of The Seamless Life.To think of our lives as “incoherent” is to live our lives in compartments. But Steven Garber says we don't have to choose, for example, between being a scientist and a Christian. Both are part of our coherent self.John Newton, the slave trader who wrote “Amazing Grace,” for many years lived a compartmentalized incoherent life. When Steven Garber was a young man discovering the invitation to “coherence” in his life, he realized that he was going to have to rethink how he thought about girls!Tamim is the Hebrew word for integrity or coherence.Seamlessness has to do with identity. The question of vocation, according to Steven Garber, always begins with Who am I? And the next question is Why am I?Vocation is integral (not incidental) to the missio dei, to the very meaning of God's work in the world.Pastors can begin to live more integral and seamless lives by being mindful of the teachers they listen to and follow. Are our teachers, not only speaking words of coherence, but living lives of coherence and seamlessness?RELEVANT RESOURCES AND LINKS:Website:Washington Institute for Faith, Vocation, and CultureBooks mentioned:The Seamless Life, by Steve GarberVisions of Vocation, by Steve GarberCaptain Blood, by Rafael SabatiniAuthors mentioned:John StottLeslie NewbiginAugustine of HippoHelmut ThielickeRelated episodes:Episode 48: Integrity and Coherence in Leadership, with Lisa Slayton, CEO of Tamim PartnersEpisode 77: To Know the World and Still Love It, with Steven Garber, author of Visions of VocationLearn how to lead your church into ministry that matters.
