He's a 4x Pro Bowl kicker, he won a Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys and was named to the Second team ALL DECADE team in the 80's. EDDIE MURRAY is humble, funny and can weave a tale! Once you start listening to this episode, you won't be able to stop!

Many think he should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Afterall, he's one of only four defensive players on the NFL 1970's All-Decade team not in Canton and the only corner back on that same list without a bust. But to Louis Wright, all that matters is what his teammates thought of him.   He grew up in California and gravitated to track and football in high school. He spent one year at Arizona State where he was moved from his high school position of defensive end to defensive back. As Louis says he “partied” his way out of ASU after one year and returned home to attend junior college where he ran track and sat on the bench for the football team.   He got back to a Division One school when San Jose State offered him a track scholarship. Then a very smart assistant football coach saw him running and convinced him to join the football team. He rode the pine again, until the Spartans played ASU (coincidentally) and Louis was called in for a play. He made a spectacular tackle and never sat on the bench again.   The Broncos chose Louis with the 17th overall pick in the 1975 draft. His 12-year career with the Broncos included accolades like 5 Pro Bowls, 4 First-Team All-Pro, Ring of Fame, 50th Anniversary Team, two Super Bowl appearances, 26 career interceptions and 11 fumble recoveries. His stats are not as high as other DB's because quarterbacks feared what might happen if they threw his way, so many times they didn't.   After he retired, Louis finished his degree and eventually earned his teaching certificate as well. He recently retired from 28 years of teaching and coaching in the Denver area. He continues to run (in his 70's), stay in touch with teammates and keep his humble attitude.

Eagles legend Fletcher Cox calls it a career after 12 seasons in the NFL all with the birds! We go through fletchers thank yous and how he wants to be remembered as a player. He also acknowledges that making the Hall of Fame would be amazing after making 6 Pro Bowls, 1 first-team All Pro and 3 second-team All Pros. Not to mention being named to the All-Decade team for the 2010s and a SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP!  Joel Embiid scored 37 points in 36 minutes while pulling down 11 rebounds and recording 8 assists as the 76ers beat the Pistons 120-102. Embiid's 36 minutes played marked his highest workload since coming back from his meniscus injury. Tyrese Maxey and Kyle Lowry got the night off, opening the door for Contributions from Tobias Harris and Buddy Hield. Harris came back to score 15 points after missing the last week due to injury, while Hield recorded 5 three's. Kelly Oubre also chipped in his 17 points.  Flyers Lost 9-3. Gross.  Phillies lost 3-0. NO RUN SUPPORT for Zack Wheeler, who dropped to 0-2 on the season despite a 1.89 ERA. J.T. Realmuto left the game early after taking a ball to the throat in the 7th inning. Wheeler bounced one in the dirt that came up and hit J.T., forcing the catcher out of the game. After years of campaigning, former Miami Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas is finally getting the Hall of Fame Victory lap he rightfully deserved. I'm joined by former NFL running back Edgerrin James. Edge played at the University of Miami Hurricanes where he is enshrined in the school Hall of Fame. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts fourth overall in the 1999 NFL Draft. James also played for the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks. The AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 1999, he earned four Pro Bowl selections and four All-Pro selections, NFL 2000's All-Decade team. James is the Colts' all-time leader in career rushing yards, attempts, and touchdowns. James is 13th on the all-time rushing list and a member of the 10,000 Yards rushing club. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2020.
