Kevin McCallister's been demoted to scamming the nation and fistfucking the globe from a less visible post. Political theater prevails as the dominant mindvirus. Commander Biden's list of crimes expands further. A Danish artist hilariously cons the High Art/Tax Evasion/Money Laundering World. Chicago TV news crew robbed in a very meta-fied way. The depraved aeronautical sciences strike another beautiful soul down once again. Trump's fraud trial serves up more fodder for hidden messages to be disseminated through Poland Spring, his Real Doll attorney and, well, We're Lovin' It™, folks. Vovan and Lexus get more people in positions of power (Sarah Ashton Cirillo in this case) to belt out the quiet parts so loudly that upon finding out that they've been duped she claimed that the 30+ minute video and audio record of her abysmal remarks was a Russian conspiracy deepfake. We mourn Bernard Sanders' continued downfall and irrelevance as he poorly responds to Code Pink's anti-war protests. Jamaal Bowman seems to think certain fire alarms trigger openings into fun places like escape rooms, BatCaves, or alternate dimensions in which the wave phony socialists in Congress weren't just status quo at best, a more insideous evil at worst. Everyone is concerned about the environmental sustainability of modern IT, but how many of us truly know how to adapt to a more environmentally-conscious world, let alone fully understand the scope of the issue? For our first episode of Season 2, we are joined once again by CloudBolt co-founder and CTO, Bernard Sanders, to discuss cloud sustainability as well as the ways (both big and small) we can all contribute to making our cloud infrastructure more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

My name is Jordan Mitchell I am a musician, artist, and activist here in Columbus, Ohio. I identify as a Socialist with no real proclivity toward any specific subsect of Socialism though I do find myself leaning more Libertarian/Anarchist than Authoritarian. While I find sympathy and solidarity in certain Communist causes I do not consider myself a Communist or a Marxist. My radicalization is rooted in racial and social justice directly inspired by American socialists like Dr. Martin Luther King, Angela Davis, Afeni Shakur, Angela Davis, Eugene Debs, Murray Bookchin and Bernard Sanders. I would really like to just kick some ideas back and forth, address some common misconceptions people have with the left and give your viewers some perspective as to what "Antifa" means and how someone who would be considered radical left views the world and this nation we live in.
Capitalism has come under attack in recent years, notably because of growing economic inequalities not only between the global North and South, but also within Western countries. Some critics even cast doubt on its legitimacy and ability to create and preserve a just and equitable society. In this episode, the economist Branko Milanovic helps us understand how economic inequalities systematically corrode democratic processes.Democracy in Question? is brought to you by:• The Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna: IWM• The Albert Hirschman Centre on Democracy in Geneva: AHCD• The Excellence Chair and Soft Authoritarianism Research Group in Bremen: WOC• The Podcast Company Earshot StrategiesFollow us on social media!• Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna: @IWM_Vienna• Albert Hirschman Centre on Democracy in Geneva: @AHDCentreSubscribe to the show. Only two days later, following the workers' refusal to return to work, then US president Ronald Reagan fired more than 11,000 striking air traffic controllers and banned them from federal service for life. Reagan's firing of the government employees encouraged large private employers to hire striker replacements instead of negotiating in labor conflicts. Opposition to the strike was led by the Conservative government of the Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, who aimed to reduce the power of the trade unions.Margaret Thatcher’s opposition strategy consisted of building up ample coal stocks, keeping as many miners at work as possible, and using police to break up attacks by pickets on working miners. In December 2020the Ant Group, which was previously called Alipay, was forced to halt its stock market listing, which would have been the world's biggest launch. Regulators made the decision to block theinitial public offering (short IPO) just days before the launch, after raising concerns about its micro-lending services. Many believe, however, that the real reason was a talk Jack Ma gave in late October 2020 that was critical of China's regulators and banking system. We here in America are so lucky to have such brave men and women wearing the badge and protecting our freedom everyday. Without them, anarchy would reign, and little monsters would roam the world unpunished. We get an example out of Orlando Florida where a stunning and brave police officer was called to a school to arrest a six year old girl for throwing a fit in class. To ensure that he wouldn't be injured by this dangerous individual, he thought it prudent to zip tie her wrists together, put her in the back of his car, then take her to juvie where she was booked and processed. We heap praise upon this braaaaaaave officer of the law as he fights the good fight against unruly prepubescent girls. Then, we discuss everyone's favorite domestic commie, Bernard Sanders and his insistence on praising every communist leader who ever lived even though he isn't a communist. It's amazing how the left lets him get away with the old "he made the trains run on time" argument in regard to Fidel Castro, but here we are. Good luck winning Florida with that attitude. Also, politicians in California have decided that they know what the porn industry is missing; them. That's right. California regulators are trying to, uhem, insert themselves into the industry by requiring a license of all adult entertainers, including cam girls of all things.
On this episode of DOOMED with Matt Binder, we break down what happened at the Democratic Debate in South Carolina. Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana, thinks he can be the next US president, but we all know your secret Pete. You're a child-gobbling lizard who hasn't possesed empathy or integrity since 2003 and you are not fit to draw the same breath as the great Bernard Sanders. In other news, top-tier candidate Kamala Harris drops out of the race and Liz Warren can't handle hecklers. Party Roulette with Felix is spinning faster than ever.
In this episode we'll talk about the neoliberal plague that has infected the Democratic Party. While in the Hamptons, Kamala Harris finally told the truth about her feelings towards Medicare For All. Additionally, Joe Biden keeps getting more and more Trumpian. We'll also talk about Maher's smear of BDS proponents as well as Marianne Williamson's wishy-washiness when it comes to Medicare For All. Together, we'll talk about these neoliberal nightmares and sooth ourselves afterwards with some new policy proposals from Bernard Sanders.
Have you seen the leaked footage of Trump doing yoga? OK that's not real but that image probably made you laugh because it's so absurd and frankly, revolting. Can you imagine that fat fuck doing anything beneficial for body and mind? Just the thought of that flatulent slob caught in a Happy Baby pose like a flop-sweating, obese tortoise is enough to make you spit-take your Diet Coke all over your big Mac buffet. Luckily for America a Sanders/Warren ticket is the antidote for the festering, open sore of the Trump “presidency.” In episode 70 Myan illustrates the average citizens conflicted position, torn between their desire to be engaged in the political process while also being so fed up with the corruption in every corner of corporate-Washington, that even buying into our democratic system for one moment, can make you feel like a sucker. Luckily for many of us, the apathy we feel for our broken political structure has been temporarily cured thanks to Senator Bernard Sanders. So get out and vote, you lazy bastards. On a happier note, Cooper has a new album called Front of House and as you probably guessed, it's really good. Check it out on Spotify as soon as you get a chance.

This time around, Darcie, Sean, and Azikiwe have another pointless conversation, this time regarding Hawaii’s Big Island, bogs, the Hamptons, wedding DJs, people who get fired from their jobs because of social media, Bernard Sanders, The Wing, regional museums, container vendor Storables, the Vietnam War, how House ripped off Becker, and Tinder. “This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy. And so the problem remained; lots of the people were mean, and most of them were miserable, even the ones with digital watches.” ― Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy I'm not a particularly remarkable person. Like you, I've strengths and flaws, hopes and dreams as well as kindness and cruelty, depending on the moment. I am often a lone wolf who probably could play well with others, but doesn't trust enough to do so regularly. I am stubborn, especially when it comes to my values of right, wrong and how to treat others. I cherish petty things like etiquette far too much to truly fit into modern society, both online and offline. It is odd that a creature the likes of me would find politics and music, two things that are best when achieved in groups, to be my favorite areas to endeavor in. These are simultaneously strengths and flaws, but important for today's story, so that you know exactly the sort of human being telling it. The 2016 Presidential Primaries have challenged me, as the effort has involved trusting strangers more than I'm inclined to. I worked on issues of criminal justice reform in the year leading up to supporting Bernie Sanders for President, and was challenged similarly there as well. Both movements have struggled with coalescing assorted grassroots activists with different agendas along with new activists still figuring out how to use their newfound voices. I am hard headed and often forget that people may not share the same ethics and objectives as me. However, moving forward, right now, I know that I must step outside of my comfort zone, and even more uncomfortably, ask you, dear reader, to join me. In just one year, since Senator Bernard Sanders of Vermont announced that he was willing to step up and take on the oligarchy, running against modern history's most powerful political machine, a rag-tag coalition of activists, unions and regular American patriots have banded together both online and in real life to create an honest to Pete political movement. I don't know this Pete fellow, but I've gotten to know an awful lot of you, and I'm proud of both what we've built and willing to share in the work that lies ahead of us. In many communities and States it was “we the people” who built the foundation of Bernie's campaign. We held meetings in people's houses, met in YouTube chat rooms while watching independent broadcasters who took up our fight too and organized on the internet to march together in real life. We felt an incredible high of coming together as empathetic people who wanted to restore Democracy while valuing the lives of all people as we gathered for political rallies that seemed more like rock concerts than lectures. Together we started a revolution. We hopefully all knew in the beginning that this wouldn't be easy. We certainly all know it now. The fact of the matter is that the establishment has fought us at every turn, as they will continue to do. The weeds of oligarchy in America are so rooted that it is difficult to replant Democracy in the same fields again. There have been many challenges that we have risen to. There will be many more. The corporate media has been against us, lied about our candidate, movement and issues, and has denied us equal airtime.
