The answer is yes He is and you can find the answer in John 10:11-18 Easy-to-Read Version Verse 11 “I am the good Shepherd, and the good Shepherd gives his life for the sheep. Verses 12 The worker who is paid to keep the sheep is different from the Shepherd. The paid worker does not own the sheep. So when he sees a wolf coming, he runs away and leaves the sheep alone. Then the wolf attacks the sheep and scatters them. Verse 13 The man runs away because he is only a paid worker. He does not really care for the sheep. Verse 14 “I am the Shepherd who cares for the sheep. I know my sheep just as the Father knows me. Verse 15 And my sheep know me just as I know the Father. I give my life for these sheep. Verse 16 I have other sheep too. They are not in this flock here. I must lead them also. They will listen to my voice. In the future there will be one flock and one Shepherd. Verse 17 The Father loves me because I give my life. I give my life so that I can get it back again. Verse 18 No one takes my life away from me. I give my own life freely. I have the right to give my life, and I have the right to get it back again. This is what the Father told me.” Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) Copyright © 2006 by Bible League International #psalm #jesus #bible #god #bibleverse #faith #psalms #christian #jesuschrist #love #thegooodshepherd --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/biblequestionsandanswers/support

Welcome to another episode of Converge, where we explore the intersection of leadership and personal growth, and I'm your host, Jeff Williamson, along with my co-host Brian Prairie. This week, we are thrilled to introduce our esteemed guest, Dan Chapman – a visionary leader in the realm of natural remedies and a pillar in his local Christian community. In this episode, Dan shares his journey from helping out in his family's health food store to leading the operations as CEO at both Sunrise Health Foods and Red Remedies. We explore the evolution of his business and his passion for holistic health, which was ignited by his mother's own health struggles and subsequent triumphs.Dan and I touch upon the significance of self-care, particularly for leaders, and how personal well-being significantly affects team dynamics and business outcomes. He provides insightful advice, suggesting that "starting the day with a glass of water" and integrating adaptogens to your routine can help combat stress and foster well-being. This focus on balance and homeostasis is not just vital for our bodies, but it resonates throughout our leadership practices as well.As we delve into the details of his business, Dan highlights the meticulous process of complying with FDA guidelines to maintain the high quality and safety of Red Remedies' 40+ herbal supplements. With Sunrise Health Foods, we discover his strategic approach to growth, prioritizing customer satisfaction and product integrity over rapid expansion. Our conversation wraps up with Dan's forward-thinking philosophy on the role of education in healthcare, encouraging transparency and acknowledging the complexity of the body's interconnected systems."You don't have to act on every idea, but you do need to consider each one carefully," advises Dan, stressing the importance of discernment and strategic execution in business.Join us to glean insights from a leader who not only prioritizes his customers' health but also embodies the principles he advocates for. And please, don't forget to hit subscribe to stay updated with Converge as we continue our quest to bring you inspirational tales of success, health, and impactful leadership.Meet Our GuestI'm passionate about helping people solve health challenges with herbs & food. Our bodies are amazing creations that can do remarkable things with a bit of care and nourishment. I also recognize there is so much more to health than just food and supplements. These are helpful (I would argue necessary), but only a part of what is needed. Health comes with attention and purpose in each area of life: 1. relationship with God; 2. relationship with family & friends; 3. caring for your body. I'm energized by helping people nurture health.Founder of Redd Remedies. 2nd Generation owner of Sunrise Health Foods. Investor. Speaker. Chairman of the Board, Bible League International (founded by grandfather). Board member, Chicago Youth for Christ. As a boy, Dan Chapman was raised in a household where food and nutrition were held in high regard, a testament to his mother's transformative experience. In her 20s, before Dan's birth, she grappled with severe anxiety that threatened to halt her daily life. This struggle, occurring during her early years of marriage in the 1950s, was profound and deeply influenced her lifestyle choices. Her journey through these personal health challenges ignited a fervor for understanding the healing power of proper nutrition, a legacy that shaped Dan's upbringing and his perspective on health and well-being. Dan's story is rooted in the powerful narrative of his mother's resilience and the knowledge she passed down through her passion for a health-conscious lifestyle.----

We are increasingly being oppressed in our own country, but are able to walk around with Bibles. I talk with Michael Woolworth who is taking Bibles into countries where you could be killed for doing so. And, in a miracle, people in those countries are begging to get these Bibles. Michael is with Bible League International and he shares with us what it is like to see a Bible change the life of someone who could be killed for owning one. What does God's Word say? Matthew 28:16-2016 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”Episode 1,355 Links:https://www.bibleleague.org/4Patriots https://4Patriots.com/Todd See this week's discounts and deals before they are gone and get free shipping on orders over $97. Evangelical Christians make up a very small part of the population in Albania in eastern Europe. At times, believers face persecution from members of the majority religion. One example is of a young Christian woman whose family forced her to marry a non-believer. Another is windows at a local church vandalized by radicals. Because poverty is widespread among Christians, many pastors must find additional work since churches are unable to pay them a livable wage. Despite these challenges, Jason Lauthers and Anton de Vreugd of Bible League International discovered in their recent visit to Albania that Christians are faithful in their witness for Jesus Christ.
