Brentford's sequence of tough away fixtures at the start of the season continues this weekend with a trip to the Tottenham Stadium… The Bees will be looking to build upon last week's positive performance at The Etihad and the midweek win over Leyton Orient. Spurs, on the other hand, seem to be under a bit of pressure, however, they still go into the game as favourites, especially with Wissa sidelined for a couple of months and Thomas Frank having to, once again, shuffle the pack up top.Dave ‘Laney' Lane is joined by Ali ‘Doolally' Mullally and Tom ‘The Fiddler' Fiddler in the Virtual Joint for this week's Beesotted Pride of West London Podcast, where we cast our minds back to the Manchester City match, events under the lights against Leyton Orient and the trip to North London on Saturday… we ask whether Kevin Schade can make the step up and stake his claim for the number nine shirt now he has the opportunity, if Thomas Frank is being primed to be the next Manchester City boss… what Brentford's line-up would be if everyone was fit… we have stats and tactical analysis from Jacob Gobbler at @beesbreakdown, facts and funk from the one and only Jonathan 'JB' Burchill and Ricky Sacks from The Last Word On Spurs, who shares his knowledge on all that's happening in N17. In her recent column Una Mullally pulled no punches about the state of Dublin city centre. It is once again, she says, a dirty old town. She writes: “It hasn't rained much recently, so the streets are filthier than normal. I'm not talking about your standard litter here. I'm talking about grime. As the grime piles up, layer by layer – the urine, the bird poo, the chewing gum, the cigarette butts, the filth from people's shoes and whatever other miscellaneous gunk graffitis the pavements.”Dublin City Council is charged with cleaning the city but, Mullally argues, its strategy is visibly failing. Irish Times Dublin editor Olivia Kelly reports on all aspects of the city, and she tells what elected councillors can do about it. Presented by Bernice Harrison. Produced by John Casey. Yesterday a 19-year-old who stabbed another teenager to death in a quiet Somerset town was found guilty of murder. Joshua Delbono stabbed 16-year-old Charley Bates in Radstock, Somerset, on 31 July last year. It was Delbono's mother Donna who called the police and told them her son had killed Charley. This is a very serious crime which perhaps made it a clear cut decision for Donna Delbono to call the police but what about when it comes to other issues, if you knew your teenage child was taking or dealing drugs, stealing, or maybe drink driving - Would you ever call the police on your child? If, so at what point would you do it? Former detective superintendent Shabnam Chauhdri and former Conservative MP, parent and now criminal barrister Anna Soubry discuss. Artwork promoting the live-action version of The Little Mermaid has revealed Sebastian the crab's new look, which is more realistic due to the film's use of CGI animation and live-action. Some fans appreciate the new design as more akin to an actual crab, while others are concerned it may make him less expressive or recognizable. The upcoming film has faced backlash since its announcement, with some racist comments in response to Halle Bailey being cast as Ariel. However, there have also been positive reactions from young Black children. The film will follow the same story as the original animated feature, and is set to release in theaters on May 26. Netflix's The Umbrella Academy is set to welcome Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross for the fourth and final season. The real-life husband and wife team of Offerman and Mullally will portray Drs. The production for the final season of the superhero series is currently underway in Toronto. The series will see the return of the main cast, including Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, and David Castañeda, among others. The show's executive producers and co-executive producers will also return to wrap up the series. Offerman has been receiving Emmy buzz for his role in HBO's The Last Of Us, while Mullally can currently be seen in Starz's Party Down. Cross has recently been involved in developing Guru Nation, a comedy for Paramount+. Fireshine Games has partnered with Neowiz to release physical editions of Lies of P for PlayStation and Xbox consoles in North America and Europe alongside its digital release in August. The game offers profound narrative choices and character progression as players guide P on his journey to become human, with the amount of lies told affecting the player's transformation. Lies of P was awarded “Best Action Adventure Game” and “Best Role Playing Game” at the 2022 gamescom awards.

Welcome back everyone to the Self Storage Income Podcast! This is your host AJ Osborne! Whether it's self storage or another real estate asset class, we always hear the importance of being able to get a potential investment property “under contract”. But what exactly does this mean, what exactly do you need, and how exactly do you get this done? These are all great questions and questions that you need answers to as an investor. The last thing you want is to have an amazing self storage investing opportunity come your way, but then not have the tools and resources ready to go to actually execute on that great deal. So then, what do we need? Enter your Letter of Intent. The letter of intent or what is commonly referred to as an LOI, is the document that you're going to need to actually get a storage facility (or any investment property) “under contract”. There may be times when you go straight to a Purchase and Sale Agreement (or PSA) without doing an LOI first, but generally speaking, that LOI is going to be the first rough run-down of the terms you're setting for yourself and the seller. To cover this topic in depth, we're bringing on our very own, Brian Mullally, Head of Acquisitions for our firm Cedar Creek. Brian brings a ton of knowledge and experience and has the answers to many of the questions you're asking about the LOI, and the process as a whole of getting a storage facility under contract to purchase. Get ready to take notes, soak up all the value here, and be able to go out and secure your storage facilities like a pro. Thanks everybody! AJ Success doesn't happen on an island, which is why I've launched the CRE Circle. Build your community, your resources, and your commercial real estate investing opportunities. Welcome back everybody to the AJ Osborne Podcast! I'm your host, AJ Osborne! So… if you've been online or to your local hardware or lumber store, you might have noticed something - the price of lumber (and materials in general) has skyrocketed. Honestly, saying the cost of lumber has “skyrocketed” even seems like an understatement. This is why I'm having my great friend and our head of acquisitions here at Cedar Creek Wealth, Brain Mullally on the podcast today to talk everything lumber. You see, before Brian joined my team, he wandered the mountainside in a flannel shirt, carrying a large ax, looking to strike it big in the lumber industry. Well… that might be a stretch lol. Brian worked in the lumber industry for years and continues to keep up the relationships he built over the years in the lumber industry. That said, he not only knows a thing or two about lumber and what's currently going on, but he's also got a backstage pass to the mills, the suppliers, and everyone in between to get the scoop on these crazy events we're seeing unfold with lumber prices. Brian shares his years of experience and helps to shed light on why lumber costs have increased so much over the past year or so. We also dive into various economic factors as to why this increase is happening, and how this increased pricing is affecting other industries across the country. There's a lot to unpack in this episode, so I'll let you get right to it. Enjoy, spread the word, and maybe invest in a few 2x4's… Thanks everybody, AJ
