It's Thursday, October 9th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Pakistani pastor dies after 13-year jail sentence A pastor in Pakistan died on Sunday after languishing in prison for 13 years. Pastor Zafar Bhatti founded Jesus World Mission Church ministry. Back in 2012, he was falsely accused of insulting Islam. Authorities finally overturned his conviction this month, releasing him last Wednesday. The 62-year-old pastor died days after from cardiac arrest at his home. The British Asian Christian Association helped defend the pastor in court. The organization stated, “Though his earthly journey has ended, Zafar's faith, endurance, and ultimate vindication remain a powerful testament to hope in Christ amidst persecution.” Nigerian Anglican Church appalled that woman chosen to be new church head The Anglican Church of Nigeria declared spiritual independence from the Church of England on Tuesday. The announcement came in response to the Church of England's appointment of Sarah Mullally as the Archbishop of Canterbury. She is the first woman to hold the position. She also supports abortion and faux homosexual marriage. Archbishop Henry Ndukuba is the Primate of the Church of Nigeria. He stated, “[Mullally's] appointment marks a tragic departure from biblical orthodoxy. . . . We remain Anglicans — but not under Canterbury. Our loyalty is to Christ and the truth of His Word, not to institutions that have abandoned it.” Police arrest man intent on blowing up church with Supreme Court Justices In the United States, police arrested a man on Sunday who had hundreds of explosive devises outside of St. Matthews Cathedral in Washington, D.C. Police made the arrest before an annual service traditionally attended by U.S. Supreme Court justices. According to court records, the man's notebook expressed animosity toward Supreme Court justices, the Catholic Church, Jews, and immigration enforcement officials. FBI cuts ties with God-hating Southern Poverty Law Center The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced last week it has cut ties with the Southern Poverty Law Center. The far-left nonprofit is known for listing conservative and Christian organizations as “hate groups,” primarily because they affirm God's design for sexuality and marriage. FBI Director Kash Patel posted on X, “The Southern Poverty Law Center long ago abandoned civil rights work and turned into a partisan smear machine. Their so-called ‘hate map' has been used to defame mainstream Americans and even inspired violence. That disgraceful record makes them unfit for any FBI partnership.” Florida, Louisiana, Missouri & Texas sue FDA over mail-order Abortion Kill Pill The state of Louisiana joined a lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration on Monday. Florida, Missouri, and Texas are also on the case. They are challenging the FDA's 2023 policy that allows mail-order abortion drugs. Louisiana's filing states, “Every year, doctors and activists in states like California and New York mail a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved abortion drug called mifepristone to thousands of Louisiana residents for the express purpose of causing abortions in Louisiana that are blatantly unlawful.” Gold hit $4,000 per ounce first time ever On Tuesday, spot gold prices hit $4,000 per ounce for the first time in history. That's up 50% from January. Silver is up 60% this year. The demand for gold is up as investors hedge against economic uncertainty. Financial analyst Rhona O'Connell told Reuters, “Background factors are much the same as before, in terms of geopolitical uncertainty, with the added spice of the (U.S.) government shutdown.” Prison Fellowship and Bible League to send 620,000 Bibles to prisoners And finally, Prison Fellowship International and Bible League International are partnering to distribute over half a million Bibles. The 620,000 Bibles will go to prisoners in 20 countries over the next five years. Frank Lofaro with Prison Fellowship International said, “God's Word has the power to reach prisoners in their darkest moments with the light of Jesus Christ. Through this partnership, prisoners who come to know Jesus through our evidence-based, in-prison programs are equipped to grow in their faith through a Bible that they can understand and that speaks to their circumstances.” Luke 4:18 says, “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Thursday, October 9th, in the year of our Lord 2025. Ryan Mullally and I have a few things in common. We both went to law school as adults, we both detest critical race theory, and we both feel that the Democratic Party no longer represents us.One of the differences we have is that I voted for Trump in November, while he did not — even though he ruled out voting for Harris before he ruled out voting for Trump.Another difference is that while I spend the majority of my free time watching movies and kissing my dog, he spends what little free time he has fiercely defending the application of neutral Constitutional principles in law through his writing and podcast appearances. We had a terrific conversation about the political realignment that is occurring in America and touched upon all the relevant current events of the last few years.Unfortunately, we recorded this three days before the Trump/Boasbert/Roberts drama unfolded. It's too bad because I would have loved to ask him about it. Nonetheless, I found his perspective on everything we talked about sobering and helpful. I'm going to need people like Ryan to keep me honest as I continue to navigate being a defender of The Constitution and a highly politicized new Trump supporter.

In her recent column Una Mullally pulled no punches about the state of Dublin city centre. It is once again, she says, a dirty old town. She writes: “It hasn't rained much recently, so the streets are filthier than normal. I'm not talking about your standard litter here. I'm talking about grime. As the grime piles up, layer by layer – the urine, the bird poo, the chewing gum, the cigarette butts, the filth from people's shoes and whatever other miscellaneous gunk graffitis the pavements.”Dublin City Council is charged with cleaning the city but, Mullally argues, its strategy is visibly failing. Irish Times Dublin editor Olivia Kelly reports on all aspects of the city, and she tells what elected councillors can do about it. Presented by Bernice Harrison. Produced by John Casey. Artwork promoting the live-action version of The Little Mermaid has revealed Sebastian the crab's new look, which is more realistic due to the film's use of CGI animation and live-action. Some fans appreciate the new design as more akin to an actual crab, while others are concerned it may make him less expressive or recognizable. The upcoming film has faced backlash since its announcement, with some racist comments in response to Halle Bailey being cast as Ariel. However, there have also been positive reactions from young Black children. The film will follow the same story as the original animated feature, and is set to release in theaters on May 26. Netflix's The Umbrella Academy is set to welcome Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross for the fourth and final season. The real-life husband and wife team of Offerman and Mullally will portray Drs. The production for the final season of the superhero series is currently underway in Toronto. The series will see the return of the main cast, including Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, and David Castañeda, among others. The show's executive producers and co-executive producers will also return to wrap up the series. Offerman has been receiving Emmy buzz for his role in HBO's The Last Of Us, while Mullally can currently be seen in Starz's Party Down. Cross has recently been involved in developing Guru Nation, a comedy for Paramount+. Fireshine Games has partnered with Neowiz to release physical editions of Lies of P for PlayStation and Xbox consoles in North America and Europe alongside its digital release in August. The trafficking of agriculture workers, including children, is widespread globally, and “practices of exceptionalism” limit workers' rights to freedom of association, organizing and collective bargaining, according to a new report on trafficking in persons in agriculture from United Nations Special Rapporteur Siobhán Mullally. “Characterized by high levels of informality, lack of oversight and protection, trafficking […]
Thomas Smyth - A Charge to James Henley Thornwell and Francis Patrick Mullally (May 4, 1860) . . . Thomas Smyth (1808-1873), pastor of Second Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, gave this charge on the occasion of the ordination of Mullally and the installation of Thornwell and Mullally as co-pastors of First Presbyterians Church of Columbia, SC. The charge is rich in explanation of a pastor's calling, and tender in its address to the uniqueness of the situation.

Viewer Discretion Advised: Discussion of Suicide About Josephine Josephine has gone head to head with her demons. She goes through the labels that the world cast upon her and like a phoenix rose from the ashes. She has learned how to use her past to help others and is doing so to this day. Clayton's Notes Please be aware of your energy after listening! This has the potential to be a very triggering interview. This was a messy podcast in many ways. It can be difficult for the brain to recall such traumatic events. So I am beyond proud, humbled, and grateful for Josephine's ability to come on and share her story with such raw vulnerability. Be ready to explore a dark part of reality in this one. Also, I decided not to include the timestamp of the second interview. I believe this is something that should be experienced in its entirety. Thank you for understanding - much love. Welcome back everyone to the Self Storage Income Podcast! This is your host AJ Osborne! Whether it's self storage or another real estate asset class, we always hear the importance of being able to get a potential investment property “under contract”. But what exactly does this mean, what exactly do you need, and how exactly do you get this done? These are all great questions and questions that you need answers to as an investor. The last thing you want is to have an amazing self storage investing opportunity come your way, but then not have the tools and resources ready to go to actually execute on that great deal. So then, what do we need? Enter your Letter of Intent. The letter of intent or what is commonly referred to as an LOI, is the document that you're going to need to actually get a storage facility (or any investment property) “under contract”. There may be times when you go straight to a Purchase and Sale Agreement (or PSA) without doing an LOI first, but generally speaking, that LOI is going to be the first rough run-down of the terms you're setting for yourself and the seller. To cover this topic in depth, we're bringing on our very own, Brian Mullally, Head of Acquisitions for our firm Cedar Creek. Brian brings a ton of knowledge and experience and has the answers to many of the questions you're asking about the LOI, and the process as a whole of getting a storage facility under contract to purchase. Get ready to take notes, soak up all the value here, and be able to go out and secure your storage facilities like a pro. Thanks everybody! AJ Success doesn't happen on an island, which is why I've launched the CRE Circle. Build your community, your resources, and your commercial real estate investing opportunities. Welcome back everybody to the AJ Osborne Podcast! I'm your host, AJ Osborne! So… if you've been online or to your local hardware or lumber store, you might have noticed something - the price of lumber (and materials in general) has skyrocketed. Honestly, saying the cost of lumber has “skyrocketed” even seems like an understatement. This is why I'm having my great friend and our head of acquisitions here at Cedar Creek Wealth, Brain Mullally on the podcast today to talk everything lumber. You see, before Brian joined my team, he wandered the mountainside in a flannel shirt, carrying a large ax, looking to strike it big in the lumber industry. Well… that might be a stretch lol. Brian worked in the lumber industry for years and continues to keep up the relationships he built over the years in the lumber industry. That said, he not only knows a thing or two about lumber and what's currently going on, but he's also got a backstage pass to the mills, the suppliers, and everyone in between to get the scoop on these crazy events we're seeing unfold with lumber prices. Brian shares his years of experience and helps to shed light on why lumber costs have increased so much over the past year or so. We also dive into various economic factors as to why this increase is happening, and how this increased pricing is affecting other industries across the country. There's a lot to unpack in this episode, so I'll let you get right to it. Enjoy, spread the word, and maybe invest in a few 2x4's… Thanks everybody, AJ
