“The world is so loud. We need to pause the music, listen within, adjust our tuning, and press play again.” - Bronkar Lee Welcome to this episode of Tactical Friday! In today's episode, Bronkar Lee is back to discuss the tactics to apply in practicing mediation and gratitude as we approach life. Through a renwed perspective topped with fun, we become more open and willing to go through even some ugly experiences with a grateful heart. I'm a keynote speaker, performer, and mindset coach. I've got a pretty bizarre background filled with lots of random adventures. I've toured Europe as a ringmaster in a Swiss circus, been a guest performer on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and had a viral video with my 2-year-old son that got 200 Million views. Pulling from these different experiences, I'd like to think I provide a refreshing perspective on life & business. I'm a lifelong learner myself, so naturally, that's what I speak about on stage and focus on with my 1 to 1 coaching clients. My coaching clients are people who've achieved a lot of amazing things but suffer from anxiety and stress. I help them maintain strong minds and healthy bodies so they can be their best selves at work and in life. We're being responsive in healthy ways where we're operating from that place of power when our inner instruments in tune. ” - Bronkar Lee “We start to smile and then we start to let our defenses down. And then we get to a place where we're not closed off, and shielding and blocking and defending to a place of possibility we open. Bronkar Lee socials and website: https://www.bronkar.comFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/bronkarlee1/7. Making adult friendsIn today’s episode, we chat about being introverts and managing adult friendships. We get candid and a little raw in our conversation about how difficult having close friendships can be, especially if you’ve been burned in the past. Opening up about our own struggles with friendships, and how self development and becoming mentally and emotionally healthy can help. We also talk about how we navigate friendships as a couple, and how our own experiences affect our kids and their friendships as well.See full show notes at: Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/couplethoughtspodcast/ or Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CoupleThoughtsPodcast Show Notes:We are pretty introverted. Actually, ambiverts would be more accurate. We can turn it on if needed, but lots of people and small talk wears our batteries out.We also appreciate the real. The not feeling like we’ll be judged for our messy house or kids. We’re not big into parties or get togethers with a ton of people that.Because of that, we have just a few really good close friends. Making new friends as an adult can be really hard. Especially as a couple. We’ve been burned in the past. For Dynae, friendships can feel very one-sided. And because of her quiet introverted nature, but also 0 tolerance for BS, she’s been told she comes off intimidating. They have both had feelings of being used as a friend. That as soon as they are not needed anymore, they are dropped. This has lead to insecurity & distrust on Dynae’s part, withdrawal on Matt’s.We are each other’s best friend, so it makes sense for us to be mutual friends with people. Finding couples like us (meaning good friends too, is hard). We’ve also been told we’re hard to relate to, because we have a happy relationship. They feel they will be judged if they don’t. We can’t stand the superficial, so finding “real” friends has been difficult for us. It’s exhausting to feel like you’ll be judged for your messy house, personal beliefs or the competition of “keeping up appearances’ or the comparing of children’s accomplishments/parenting style. And that having real, honest conversations just makes others too uncomfortable. Especially if you happen to disagree on something. So that makes us feel like we can’t show up as our real selves, and be vulnerable.

Join Anna and Bronkar as they tak about all things possible when "setting your tone". This is a conversation that will make a difference!! Bronkar has always been deeply fascinated by music and sound — the effects it can have on our physiology, the power it has to change our attitudes, and the potential it has to connect humans together in positive ways. He plays multiple instruments (including drums, saxophone, guitar, Native American flute, and voice) which he’s incorporated into live performances and presentations for over 20 years, weaving them seamlessly into powerful techniques for improving communication, collaboration, and creativity. Bronkar’s desire to produce, coach, and collaborate has led him to form multiple performance groups including duo show Collision of Rhythm, 4-man variety show Bounce, and even fronting the rock band All Styles to Groove. In 2014, Bronkar collaborated with original STOMP member and Blue Man Group coach Ameenah Kaplan to create Raditatical — a multimedia-filled, rhythm-based theatrical show with a 6-person cast that enjoyed success at the Ricardo Montalban Theater in Hollywood. Most recently, Bronkar collaborated with his wife Cyndi Harvell Lee to write the book BAM: Bold Achievement Method, outlining his 6-step process for accelerated learning. They used the methodology to complete the book and (most importantly) in raising their sons, Elijah and Niko. They are currently working on their second book. Bronkar's unique background includes touring Europe as ringmaster to a world-renowned circus, appearing with Jay Leno on the Tonight Show, and beatboxing with his 18-month old son, Elijah, in a viral video that received over 125 Million views. Pulling from these vastly different experiences, Bronkar provides a refreshing perspective on how to lead with confidence, clarity and purpose — regardless of job title.
