Congratulations to Collyn Lambeck of Stockdale, the 2024 Pre-Teen Miss Majorette of America! Collyn, the daughter of Carter and Sherry Lambeck, is an incoming Stockdale Junior High sixth grader. She earned the title in the National Baton Twirling Association International's national championships, held in mid-July in Indiana. The association was founded in 1945; the Miss Majorette contest has six divisions; contestants compete in three areas — Twirling, X-Strut and Modeling. Collyn Lambeck of Stockdale takes her place at the top of the podium, upon being named Juvenile Miss Majorette of America at the National Baton Twirling Association National Championships held the week of July 18, at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. She also won the Juvenile X-Strut and Juvenile 2-Baton National Championships. Collyn is the 9-year-old daughter of Sherry and Carter Lambeck, and granddaughter of Claude and Evelyn Drzymala and Carmen Lambeck, all of Stockdale, and the late Steve Lambeck. Shanes Grandpa, Charlie Everson, milked about 8 or 9 Holsteins and delivered milk to the homes in the area. I have never met Grandpa Everson but I am sure I would have loved him. Shane and I started to milk in May of 2004, before kids. We both worked off the farm and started with 10 Cows. Lots of work. Then we had Austynn in September 2005 and when she turned one I then stayed home. Collyn was born in February 2008. Shane then farmed full time and in August of 2018 we Sold our herd of 45 milk cows. Very hard time for us. We couldn't handle not milking and I asked for cows again. Well here we are October of 2019 we started to milk again. We Ship our milk to Minerva Dairy.
