Devin Ebanks was looking forward to a summer vacation with the family following a championship run in Saudi Arabia. That was until an unexpected call from the BIG3 came. After trying to playing in the league the year before, Ebanks looked elsewhere this summer. But those within the league had other ideas. The West Virginia alum went on to help Tri-State finish the season in the Top-8 and spent some quality time with old teammates in different cities across the US. We get into his favorite Kobe moment during his time with the Lakers, would he rather have $50 million and a chip or $100 million, the draft night surprise, playing under Dr. J, and who he'd love to see play in the BIG3 alongside him next year. Additionally, we discuss the Department of Justice's investigation into the NBA, Enemies roster moves, and who got snubbed. DRIP: https://www.dripshop.live/invite/4thM... The C.O.W.S. (Context of White Supremacy) Radio Program welcomes the return of Nairobi Thompson (for the first time). A writer, poet and learning and development specialist, Ms. Thompson is a versatile communicator and facilitator with a rare ability to challenge and entertain professional and artistic audiences. With over 30 years of experience as a learning and development specialist Nairobi's craft began with management and training design for senior leadership, mentoring and coaching. Way back in 2011, during the middle of the London Riots over the police killing of Mark Duggan, Ms. Thompson's former husband Rudy Ebanks spoke with us about the first version of Almost British. After being prohibited from speaking about or promoting her book, her husband picked up the mantle and spoke on a number of platforms about the terrorism Ms. Thompson experienced working for British Prison Service. After more than a decade, Ms. Thompson changed her name, divorced Mr. Ebanks, and re-published Almost British (Re-Visited) to accurately document the years of White Supremacist abuse she endured on the job. (https://www.nairobithompson.co.uk) We are excited to hear directly from her about this extraordinary catalog of White Terrorism on the job. We're also treated to her extraordinary dedication to "ChildQ" - a black British girl who was brutally abused under the pretense that she was smuggling cannabis. #WorkplaceRacism #RuberthaThompson #TheCOWS13 INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 720.716.7300 CODE 564943#

In this episode, I spoke to my mentor and friend Timali Ebanks. This season we are talking about relationships and I am asking my guests to breakdown how they navigated their search in finding The One. Verse read during the show: Philippians 2:3-7
A man is accused of murdering his ex-wife and her adult son over a dispute about the electric bill, and authorities believe it happened in front of the son's own young children. Michael D. Williams, 47, allegedly claimed #MarshaEbanksWilliams, 48, and #RobertAdams, 28, attacked him and that he was acting in self defense. Authorities, however, said that any visible marks on his body did not match his account of being violently assaulted. The violent encounter stemmed from a fight over electricity usage at the former couple's home in Volusia County, Florida. Authorities believe Adams' children, ages 5 and 6, saw the incident happen. Details from a press statement, the press conference and a partially redacted charging affidavit detail what Henderson described as a “toxic” relationship. Ebanks-Williams and Williams had been married for about 10 years, but they had divorced in June. According to authorities, the plan was for Ebanks-Williams to sell the house, and the former couple would split the money from the sale. Williams was allowed to stay in the home in the meantime, but deputies described the domestic situation as rocky: Henderson said law enforcement was called out to the residence on East Parkway in the city of DeLand five times just in 2022. There were fights and arguments, but nothing rose to the level of arrests, he said. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/leah-gordone/support
