You may have seen this escort service featured on the now cancelled Showtime TV series simply called, Gigolos. The service is still active but there is one profile that is glaring absent from the choice of gigolos for hire, that of Ash Armand. Ash Armand joined Cowboys for Angels and quickly became the most sought after gigolo in Las Vegas. The TV show only made him more famous. Then he started dating a very well known Las Vegas influencer name Toochi Kash. Things were going great for Ash Armand who billed himself as a sexual guru with a spiritual side. But then, everything began to change. Ash finds himself in a very dark place, fired from his agency and dumped by his girlfriend. He decides to return to his roots, once again becoming a "spiritual guru." A very nice young woman named Herleen Dulai hires Ash to help guide her through a difficult time in her life. Dans le quotidien « Gil Blas », fondé six ans plus tôt, à la rubrique « Nouvelles et échos », louant l'agilité de « performers » du « Moulin Rouge, voici ce que l'on peut lire sous la plume d'un anonyme : « Foule hier, au Jardin de Paris, pour assister aux débuts chorégraphiques des quatre Gigolos que Zidler est allé dénicher, ces jours derniers, dans je ne sais quel bal de banlieue. Ils sont parfaits et, avant peu, ils jouiront de la même célébrité que les Clodoches, qui ont fait courir tout Paris sous l'Empire. Jamais je n'ai vu, même au temps le plus brillant de Mogador, de Marie Printemps, de la Gosse, etc. danser le quadrille de manière aussi amusante. Ce ne sont pas des danseurs, ce sont de véritables acrobates. Toutes les figures de quadrille leur servent à faire des tours et, chose extraordinaire, ils ne manquent point une mesure. Le grand écart, le saut périlleux, la grenouille, les ailes du moulin, le chapeau de canotier, la roue, la vague, le tourbillon, etc., tout cela est exécuté avec une adresse et une souplesse merveilleuse. Ils sont tellement agiles, qu'en lançant la jambe, ils décoifferaient un carabinier. » Des Gigolos donc au Moulin Rouge… Faut-il comprendre que des prostitués masculins foulent les scènes des cabarets parisiens ? Qu'entend-on exactement par « gigolo » en cette fin de XIXe siècle ? De quelle manière les regards sur cette catégorie particulière vont-ils évolué jusque dans le premier quart du vingtième siècle ?
