In this episode of Nephilim Death Squad, we welcome back the enigmatic Cyprian (formerly Vin Armani), whose path from occult sorcery to Orthodox Christianity is unlike anything you've heard. From his time on Showtime's Gigolos to his role as a digital-age mystic, Cyprian brings a wild fusion of theology, economics, and esoteric insight. We talk spiritual warfare, black magic, geopolitics, Epstein's rituals, the lie of modern porn, and how the West lost Christ but kept the costume. David Lee Corbo and Top Lobsta dive deep into why debates fail, why demons pay for porn, and why your heart might be the real battleground. This is one of our most theological, raw, and revelatory conversations yet. The journey leads through conspiracy, through personal testimony, and lands squarely in the realm of the sacred.☠️ NEPHILIM DEATH SQUAD Skip the ads. Get early access. Your hosts replace class with ass as they depart the refined salons of Paris and land face down on the scorched centerline of the Las Vegas Strip. The result is a new month of episodes that just might put their immortal friendship to the test! Was Christopher too strong in his suggestion that they tackle a recent true crime series about a shocking criminal case involving a key cast member of one of reality TV's tawdriest shows? Should Eric have been more vocal with his concerns that watching four episodes in a row of Showtime's GIGOLOS could be damaging to one's mental health and sense of decency? Why did no one tell the absurd parade of steroid-addled douchebags featured on this glorified piece of soft core porn that they're not as famous as they think are? The answers to these questions will be poked, stroked and massaged as Sin City Month begins.

In this episode of The Bandwich Tapes, I had the pleasure of sitting down with singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Matt Krahula. I recently stumbled upon his music and was instantly hooked.Matt Krahula, currently based in Honolulu, HI, is a true musical talent. He's the bassist for Grammy-nominated artist Henry Kapono, the lead singer of The Nightmare River Band, and one half of the Chamber Folk duo Beyond Hope, alongside Canadian singer-fiddler Sierra Noble. After years of touring across the mainland and immersing himself in New York City's vibrant music scene, Matt decided to plant new roots in sunny Waikiki. Since 2018, he's become one of Hawaii's most sought-after artists, securing residencies at some of Oahu's top venues and opening for major acts like Silver Sun Pickups, Frank Turner, Mike Love, Jerry Santos, and Keola Beamer.Matt's musical journey began at the Purchase Conservatory of Music, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Classical Music Performance on Upright Bass. Over the past 15 years, he's toured extensively, written, and recorded music, playing over 500 shows with his band. He's shared the stage with acts like Old Man Markley, The Last Bandoleros, Boy & Bear, Matt Simons, Tokyo Police Club, and Robert Ellis. His talent has earned him a nomination for an Independent Music Award for Best Alt-Folk Song of the Year, and his music has been featured in TV shows like 9-1-1 on Fox, American Pickers, Showtime's Gigolos, NHL broadcasts, and various commercial campaigns.Since making Hawaii his home, Matt has built a solid reputation as a dependable sideman. He's a full-time member of Henry Kapono's legendary Wild Hawaiian Band and the resident bassist for Hawaii's premier bluegrass band, Hook + Line, as well as the indie rockers, 7 Pairs of Iron Shoes. I've got a wild story for you today. There is a Las Vegas escort service for women called Cowboys for Angels. You may have seen this escort service featured on the now cancelled Showtime TV series simply called, Gigolos. The service is still active but there is one profile that is glaring absent from the choice of gigolos for hire, that of Ash Armand. Ash Armand joined Cowboys for Angels and quickly became the most sought after gigolo in Las Vegas. The TV show only made him more famous. Then he started dating a very well known Las Vegas influencer name Toochi Kash. Things were going great for Ash Armand who billed himself as a sexual guru with a spiritual side. But then, everything began to change. Ash finds himself in a very dark place, fired from his agency and dumped by his girlfriend. He decides to return to his roots, once again becoming a "spiritual guru." A very nice young woman named Herleen Dulai hires Ash to help guide her through a difficult time in her life. She had no way of knowing that decision would instead end her life.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/dark-hearts-with-stacy-lee-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

If you've accidentally stumbled upon us and this episode, welcome. But if you're re-joining us, we're on the final episode of rewatch of S1 of the Showtime original series, Gigolos. We're talking about our favourite moments, reminding ourselves to cancel the Paramount Plus subscription once this episode goes live, and asking ourselves one last time: WHAT WOULD BRACE DO?In episodes 7 & 8, we delve into the peculiar nooks of human sexuality explored on screen—from professionals guiding the clueless in the art of dirty talk to the unexpected kinks that are Disney-related. Plus, we get a sneak peek into Nick's aspiring rap career, and it's giving Temu Eminem. We're planning to take a break after this episode to get recalibrated for S4, where we've got tons in store. So strap in, hit play, and prepare to question your streaming re-watch choices— just like us.Support the show
Our latest bonus episode dives headfirst into the riotous lives of Stephen, Jimmy, Brace, and the gang as we dissect episodes five and six with a dash of humor and a pinch of reality. Chuckle along as we dissect the relationship status of Jimmy and new girlfriend Kelly (it's apparently just mid) and explore the complex and often untold stories of male escorts, revealing how media and different generations have shaped our perspectives on this ancient profession.During this episode, we get to see our favorite Gigolo (and yours), Vin Armani, take on a salsa competition with his new client, and we are exposed to the spiritual labyrinth that is Brace's life. These unique and contrasting outlooks paint the perfect picture of just how dynamic these companions can be, and why their work is so important. Plus, we talk more about how we're convinced the women in the show are industry plants and how much we have come to love Brace's quirky rants.Join us as we pull back the curtain on the sometimes chaotic, often hilarious, and always intriguing realm of 'Gigolos'. We'll share a laugh over Nick's digestive woes and fear of butt-related activities and muse over whether we, too, should get colonics as a form of self-care. So, tune in, laugh, and perhaps watch S1 of Gigolos alongside us (currently streaming on Paramount Plus).Support the show
Ever wondered if the life of a high-class escort is as glamorous as it seems? We're back to spill the tea on our limited edition four-episode re-watch of Showtime's own Gigolos. This time, we're dissecting the quirks of episodes three and four, where we witness everything from Brace's date with an industry plant to Jimmy's toe-curling shenanigans with a wanna-be dominatrix. Get ready to unpack episodes three and four with us because not only are we both left bewildered but highly entertained, like when Brace pitches his latest pyramid scheme—oops, we mean, business opportunity. Also in today's episode: we're chatting about the blurred lines between pleasure and business. Plus, we have an emotional conversation on the struggles the guys face with friends and loved ones with their risqué careers, and why those real-life implications of their chosen profession are kinda stupid.Don't forget to join us every Tuesday for the next four weeks as we re-watch Gigolos. We'll be back with S4 in the next little in a few months. But if you like what you hear, leave a review or share with a friend. See you next week!Support the show
High Low Brow is back, baby! We're here for a bonus four-episode re-watch of the 2011 SHOWTIME Original Series Gigolos. The hit reality television show that we became obsessed with during the pandemic for its quirky and glamorous storytelling of the lives of male escorts living in Las Vegas.During this four-episode re-watch, we'll be offering you a front-row seat to rediscover the iconic characters, the eyebrow-raising ideologies, and our honest reactions (it's been a while since we've watched) of all 8 episodes of season one. As we revisit the series, we're not just chuckling over the comedic gold and the facepalm-worthy moments; we're also probing the depths of heavier topics like racism and sex positivity. Expect a candid dissection of the tangled web between companionship, empowerment, and the fine line of personal boundaries in the escort scene, delivered with the same irreverent humor you've come to love from us.We'll be dropping new 45-minute episodes every Tuesday for the next four weeks. If you like what you hear, don't forget to leave us a review or share it with your pals. We're gearing up for season four and hope this keeps you company in the meantime.Support the show

Get ready for an incredibly inspiring episode of Hell Has An Exit as I sit down with entrepreneur, television producer, and male modeling agency owner Garrett James. James is a true success story, having built an empire worth millions, starred in television shows, and become a celebrity influencer on social media. But his journey to the top was far from easy. James' battle with addiction began in college, where he started taking Ridellan pills to get through long nights of work. Little did he know, this was just the beginning of a dark and dangerous road that would eventually lead him to crack cocaine and a slew of felony charges. His life was in shambles, and he found himself behind bars with nowhere to go. But as they say, rock bottom became the solid foundation on which James built his life. While in jail, he found help through a 12-step program and has been clean for over 14 years. The program gave him a sense of belonging and helped him turn his life around, building his own businesses, acting in television shows, and finding love and happiness. In this episode, James shares the intimate details of his journey to recovery and success. He talks about the challenges he faced, the lessons he learned, and how he found the strength to turn his life around. This is a truly inspiring story of redemption and triumph that will leave you feeling uplifted and empowered. When it comes to buying and selling sex, people most commonly think of men as the buyers and women as the sellers. However, while men are indeed far more likely than women to report having paid for sex, recent media reports suggest that the number of women buying sex may be on the rise. So, let's talk about it. I am joined by Hallie Lieberman, a sex historian and journalist who has written extensively about sex work. She is also author of the book Buzz: A Stimulating History of the Sex Toy, which we discussed back in episode 21 of this show. Some of the topics we discuss include: Who are the women who pay for sex sex? What are the most common reasons women pay for sex? Why do so many women feel that paying for sex is safer than having casual sex? Who are the men who sell sex to women? What are the main reasons men become gigolos? Where do gigolos usually work, and what kinds of services do they sell? To learn more about Hallie, follow her on the socials @hallielieberman and be sure to pick up a copy of her book, Buzz. Paul and Rich make the near-fatal mistake of diving into the prequel-era legends comics Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan: The Aurorient Express and Last Stand on Ord Mantell. It's the oldest profession in the world. It's even been referenced in the Hebrew Bible. Brothels have existed in Nevada since the old mining days of the 1800s. Nevada's prostitution is strictly regulated and must be in areas away from rural areas. In this episode, we discuss prostitution in The United States, from the current brothels in Nevada to that time Rhode Island accidentally legalized prostitution. For this episodes charity, we recommend making a contribution to The Brandon Chandler Foundation. https://www.brandonchandler.org/The funds they raise go directly to providing a safe and sobering living location for people who were incarcerated as they exit prison. Anita Hill has inspired generations of women leaders to protect women, and protect them in the workplace. She ignited a movement, inspired, led and transformed cultures.Anita Hill was an early entry into the pantheon of women shamed for exposing high-powered men. Before Christine Beasley Ford in 2018 and even before Monica Lewinsky in 1998, there was Anita Hill. In 1991 when George H. W. Bush nominated Clarence Thomas for the supreme court. An interview that Hill gave to the FBI was leaked to the press. In the interview, Hill told stories of her supervisor Clarence Thomas discussing beastiality, porn movies with rape scenes or group sex, and his own sexual prowess and anatomy. For eight hours, Hill testified under the hot glare of cameras and lights in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. She was forced to answer grueling questions like if she was a woman scorned, had a martyr complex, or had plans to be a hero in the civil rights movement. The hearings polarized Americans. Some thought she was a “scorned'' woman and attention seeking while others found her treatment by the Senate Judiciary Committee sexist and demeaning. The scandal motivated a number of women to enter politics. 1992 became known as “The Year of The Woman” as a historic number of women were elected into Congress. The Senate and House grew from 6 women to 47.This episode we are joined by Sunny who is the host of “Don't Tell Me, Tell The People” where she has nightly panels discussing pop culture politics, and social injustice. https://www.youtube.com/c/DontTellMeTellThePeopleThis episodes charity, is a charity close to our guest Sunny's heart. https://www.marioafinnellalsfoundation.orgTheir mission is to empower people living with ALS and their families, support people living with ALS and bring awareness to the debilitating disease through resources and research. Is there a topic you'd be interested in hearing? The Rocky Horror Picture Show is the longest-running theatrical release in film history. It's established itself as a cult classic with over 46 years of midnight screenings. It was one of the first musicals to depict fluid sexuality and is said to have been an influence on the countercultural and sexual liberation movements that followed. We're joined this week by our friend, Bernie Bregmen, from Experience Level Entertainment. Bernie has been producing events since 2010 starting with the 35th Anniversary Rocky Horror convention working with executive producer, Lou Adler. Since then, Bernie has worked with several entertainment giants such as Fox, MGM, and Marvel to name a few. He's produced major events from wrap parties to full conventions, screenings to film festivals, and concerts to masquerades. Bernie has worked with Rock n Roll Hall of Famers such as Run DMC and The Black Eyed Peas, Redman, Slick Rick, and Flava Flav on events like the Los Angeles Comic Con Cosplay Ball and events at San Diego Comic Con. In 2017 he produced Stan Lee's 95th Birthday celebration at Stark Mansion in Hollywood. Bernie has cemented his role in the pop-culture landscape and we're thrilled to have him as our guest today. We discussed the cultural phenomenon of seeing Rocky Horror in a theater with a shadow cast and callback lines. On June 23, 1993, between 3:30 and 4:30 A.M., Lorena Bobbitt, cut off the penis of her sleeping husband, John Wayne Bobbitt, in Manassas, Virginia. The case was an immediate sensation. How could it not have been? Hyped up by both journalists and comedians, her trial in January of 1994 was the world's number one media event. Had Lorena murdered her sleeping husband, her name would not be a household name. How did the penis of John Wayne Bobbitt end up in a grassy field across the street from a 7 Eleven? How did it change the public views on marital rape and domestic violence in the early 90's. Only one month before, martial rape was outlawed in all 50 states.Today, we are joined by Joleen Lunzer, who hosts the Married To Bravo Podcast that is available on iTunes and Spotify. Chippendales has become an iconic American institution. Just hearing the name conjures up instant images of oiled-up guys flexing their pecs, wearing bow ties (and very little else), and gyrating for a crowd of screaming ladies. But if your knowledge of Chippendales ends there, you're missing out on a story where the rise of feminism, the American immigrant dream, and greed combine to create a dark and twisted story. The true story of Chippendales includes arson, hired assassins, and incredibly dumb business decisions, all fueled by jealousy, insecurity, and greed. For this episode's charity, we recommend making a contribution to the Sex Workers Outreach Project. The nation's oldest, continuously operating brothel opened for business in 1844. It operated out of a pine-board hotel during the early years but it's location had changed nearly a half dozen times during its history and had several different names, typically it was named after a reigning madam. From the Civil War to World War I, especially during the four decades from 1870 to 1910, prostitution flourished in Texas. Every city had its red light districts and at least one vice district. In 1929 when the stock market crashed it took a toll on The Chicken Ranch. Fares were reduced to fit supply and demand and the prostitution business started booming again. Miss Jessie, owner of the Chicken Ranch, had a great business mind and instinct. She converted her business to “Poultry Standard” …….one chicken per screw. The Chicken Ranch received national attention when "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" on Broadway and then a movie starring Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds in 1982.For this episode's charity, we recommend making a contribution to the Sex Workers Outreach Project. It was a time of excitement and danger when the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation declared "that all persons held as slaves" within the rebellious states "are, and shall be free." The Klu Klux Klan was rising to prominence, and soon the first black man was elected into Congress.A former slave, reigned over a secret world of drag balls in Washington, D.C., in the 1880s and was the leader of possibly the world's earliest-known LGBTQ liberation group. Born into slavery, William Dorsey Swann became the first American to lead a queer resistance group and the first to self-identify as a “queen of drag.” He fought back against police who raided a drag ball almost a century before the Stonewall uprising. In honor of Pride month, we'll be talking today about William Dorsey Swan and drag ball culture. We're joined by our friends, Les and Claire. Les is a podcaster who hosts two shows, Reality Reading Rainbow and A Lifetime of Hallmark. Claire is a certified massage therapist, aspiring metalsmith, and reality show enthusiast. This episodes charity is Los Angeles LGBT Center. Since 1969, the Los Angeles LGBT Center has cared for, championed, and celebrated LGBT individuals and families in Los Angeles and beyond. Before LGBTQ Americans could gather peacefully in the streets for Pride parades, there were protests, riots, and other acts of disobedience.Sometimes violent, often militant, and always disruptive, the necessary, anti-establishment actions of our predecessors paved the way for a more tolerant, accepting world to come. The fight for queer liberation and equality has always involved disruption. LGBTQ and people of color have often led that charge, too, proving that racial justice and LGBTQ equality are intersecting political movements. On today's episode of Madames, Heauxs and Gigolos, we want to honor PRIDE month and revisit the history of the LGBTQ+ community struggle to gain acceptance, and equal rights. We are joined by our friend Arnold, an out and proud member of the LGBTQIA community. We discuss the first political gay rights movement after World War I and the Stone Wall Riots and how these protest brought change. We compare the uprising to the Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests of 2020. If you found this episode insightful, we recommend making a contribution to The Trevor Project which focuses on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth. Welcome to Madames, Heaux, and Gigolos a podcast about the history of sex work and historical events surrounding sexual revolution.I am your host Heather and with me is my friend Connor.Together we have created a biweekly podcast discussing all topics in regards to history and sex. But why? Why this topic, Heather? Well, history and sex are two fascinating subjects. There are great stories not told in history books surrounding these topics, so I think this would be a great way for the events to be heard. What made you want to do a podcast about sex work in particular? It started out as a COVID project, then manifested into this podcast. The topics are interesting rabbit holes to to fall down and a great way to normalize sex work, and empower. Many men, and women, gay, straight, bisexual, queer, and transgender, have done incredible things in history, but their stories are rarely shared. Why? Because of the taboo of the occupation. Maya Angelou, civil rights activist, poet, and award winning author was also a sex worker. A madame to a lesbian couple when she was 19 and a single mother. She was proud of her work and wrote about it in her second autobiography titled, “Gather Together in My Name”. But “madame” is never listed in her long list of accomplishments. She was never ashamed of her sex work and openly discuss it. With sex work and events in history about sex, politics are usually involved. With Governments regulating bodies and determining who a sanctioned union is between, some of our subjects may have had run-ins with the law. And politics may be discussed. So I'd just like to be forward and say Black Lives Matter, Love is Love, Women's Right, Trans Rights, and Gay Rights are Human Rights. And Science is real. Please subscribe to us on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, or Spotify. And connect with us on Instagram at Madames, Heauxs, and Gigolos. We'd love for you to join us on this journey.
