The Hellraiser franchise might have started off on a high note with Clive Barker's original fable of sadomasochistic puzzle boxes and otherworldly perversion, but the series lost steam so hard that it became virtually synonymous with Straight-to-DVD shlock. By the aughts, everyone except for the hardcore Hellraiser fans checked out. Even they would admit the series hit a low point.Still, that didn't prepare anyone for Hellraiser: Revelations, a sequel that was so slapshot and shoddy that longtime Pinhead actor Doug Bradley didn't return for the first time. Ever since it's release, Hellraiser: Revelations has been so irreputable that it's reached an almost legendary status. Does anyone dare try to defend it?Turns out, horror novelist, screenwriter, and journalist Preston Fassel has a lot to say in Revelations' favor. Join us for a discussion with Preston as we talk about Revelations' production, how it tries to honor the original Hellraiser, and the status of this famously uneven franchise.Preston's Defense of Hellraiser: Revelations for Fangoria: https://www.fangoria.com/in-defense-of-revelation-the-hellraiser-movie-that-could-have-and-should-have-been-more/

This week we're making our way further into the Hellraiser franchise by discussing the painfully boring Hellraiser: Deader, the slightly fun, post-Scream take on the franchise that is Hellraiser: Hellworld and Hellraiser: Revelations, a film that is quite possibly the worst sequel ever made and one of the worst films we have ever seen. Bringing back this 2016 Audio Commentary for the worst Hellraiser movie out there, Hellraiser Revelations. Can you make it all the way through this movie? Where were you November 2011? If you were watching Hellraiser Revelations, ccongratulations for being one of the survivors! So why would we ask you to watch it again with us? I'm not quite sure. I guess the answer is, "What if something wack happens?" Also, if you're ever in doubt, reference Niko Bradley's guide to pronouncing Tijuana. We are so close to finishing the Hellraiser franchise, but we still have to go through this ashcan movie. Please bear with us while we try to address Hellraiser: Revelations
This week, Brian and John open the box and venture to the world of The Hellraiser Franchise. Now while we will eventually get to Hulu's Hellraiser Remake, we felt it was necessary to look at the absolute worst moment in the franchise. We are of course talking about 2011's Hellraiser Revelations. This movie is on a whole other level of bad; and we aren't just saying that cause it features "Fat/Wish.com/Great Value Pinhead". This movie was one in a series of copyright grabs by everyone's favorite creep, Harvey Weinstein and Dimension Films in an effort to retain the rights for profit. Hellraiser: Judgement follows up on one of the worst movies we've seen for this podcast, Hellraiser: Revelations. It's the same writer from Revelations, but this time they spent more than 11 days making the movie. Can they actually turn it around?Look we did it. We watched EVERY SINGLE Hellraiser movie in existence. We're officially super fans now. In fact, I got a little present to commemorate watching 10 whole movies back to back. I hope Mike likes it!Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-other-half/exclusive-content
Hellraiser: Revelations is not only one of the worst movies we've seen in the Hellraiser franchise but one of the worst movies we've ever seen for this podcast. This movie is devoid of all life. This movie is a strange remake of the first movie, but with all of the soul ripped out of it. The poster looks like Pinhead trying to squeeze one out! Even Doug Bradley didn't come back to play Pinhead and that guy will be in anything! But even a poster with Pinhead defecating was too much. It also centers around a sad angsty rich white kid which just makes me want to take a nap.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-other-half/exclusive-content
While some of the other Hellraiser movies were total shit, at least they had Doug Bradley as Pinhead to redeem them a little bit. This movie not only sucks in every way, but there are two Pinheads, and neither one of them is Doug Bradley. The movie sucks. The Pinheads suck. Thank Christ that this series is almost over. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

We continue our month of hate with Suzie's pick from 2011
A director, cinematographer, and producer known for his work on the first six "SAW" movies, "Hellraiser: Revelations", "The Gravedancers", "Skinwalkers", "2:13", "Pawn", dozens of episodes of MTV Cribs and so much more... my guest on Episode 247 is David A. Armstrong. I reached out to him on q whim after watching the first "SAW" movie for the first time in a while. not expecting to even hear back. We exchanged numbers and hit it off with a regular phone call then scheduled this episode. We go into a lot here. Behind the scenes of the "SAW" movies, especially the first one. Between the restricted, relatively small budget, timing and logistics of the film, it was a small miracle that it was even made. We talk MTV Cribs, his directorial debut working with Ray Liotta on "Pawn", and the reasoning behind the making of "Hellraiser: Revelations". A very cool look behind the scenes and a bunch of banter. It was an honor to speak with him. I hope you enjoy. Respect. This week Mike, Rich and Steve look at a bumper pack of films, kicking off with FUKUSHIMA 50, a dramatisation of the Fukushima nuclear disaster. (the trailer in the link is horribly dubbed into American - the actual film is presented in Japanese with English subs). Then we take a look at THE STYLIST, a very stylish horror film with an iconic protagonist. You may also be interested in checking out this interview with the director, Jill Gevargizian. Mike and Rich then delve into not one but two Hellraiser films, which have only just now been released in the UK - HELLRAISER: REVELATIONS (2011) and HELLRAISER: JUDGEMENT(2018). These are noteable for not having Doug Bradley in the role of Pinhead - but does that necessarily make them bad films? I actually have a big bone to pick with one of them - tune in to hear us discuss! We also take a look at SHADOWLAND, a new low budget horror film set in the wilds of Scotland, co-starring Amela Eve from The Haunting of Bly Manor. Our Short Shot is the very well-produced DECOMMISSIONED - contrast the zero gravity fx here to what Ron Howard put his cast through in Apollo 13! Click the link to watch the whole 6min film! Finally, out DTV Throwback is BACK TO EVEN, in which an almost unrecogniseable Lorenzo Lamas runs into problems with a violent bookie who happens to be an old highschool buddy and played by Michael Pare. I couldn't find an actual trailer online for this, just the linked opening scene. Don't forget to check out our FACEBOOK and TWITTER pages where you will find the DTV Chart and news of new DTV releases!

We have such sights to show you in our brand new episode. We take a trip down south, WAY down south, as we review a couple of Hellraiser films. However, we review the two that do NOT have Doug Bradley as Pinhead. Hear our reviews of the ninth and tenth installments in the franchise, Hellraiser: Revelations and Hellraiser: Judgment. First things first, though. Let's talk Horror Business. In Real World Horror, we tell the tale of a woman who just wants to get her heads. We then discuss the most recent additions to Stranger Things 3, plus updates on AMC's NOS4A2 series and John Krasinski's follow up to A Quiet Place. We wrap things up by talking about a new version of a Full Moon classic and tell you what Neil Blomkamp is up to. All this and more on a very hell raising episode of The Grave Plot Podcast. Shall we begin?
20.43 - strefa spoilerowa

Welcome to episode 17 of the Wonder Junkie Podcast featuring Mars One candidate Sue Ann Pien. Sue is 1 of the 100 candidates for the Mars One Mission, she is also an accomplished actor having appeared in films such as Hellraiser Revelations, Everlasting and is also in the running to become National Geographic‘s Digital Correspondent, you can go help her on that journey by liking her video, which you can find here - http://assignmentexplorer.com/video/794 So Mars One is an organization that has proposed to land the first humans on Mars and establish a permanent human colony there by 2032. The mission is surrounded by criticism and controversy and when I had ESA astrophysicist Dr. Matt Taylor as my guest in EP01, he too had very large doubts about the mission. The primary issues the Mars One Mission faces is technology and funding but it’s made good progress on that front, having recently begun trading publicly and raising £6 million in funding. Despite the challenges Mars One faces, in many ways, it has already succeeded even if it doesn’t complete its mission, and its done this by raising awareness and pushing scientific scrutiny on such a mission. Indeed, just by the application process alone, it's drastically changed Sue’s life which you’ll hear more about in the podcast... http://petebailey.net/podcast
Don’t throw that puzzle box in the fire just yet! This week, Liz and Evan attempt to make sense of the disastrous HELLRAISER: REVELATIONS with the help of their first guest, James Skosky. Join the trio as they trudge through one of the worst films they’ve ever seen, agonize over the film’s vapid plot, try desperately to keep the characters straight, and (SMASH CUT TO MEXICO!) suffer through tedious flashbacks and repetitive dialogue and tedious flashbacks and repetitive dialogue and… Be sure to check out nowscreaming.com, and tell us what you think on Twitter @nowscreamingpod. 5/13/2016 Where were you November 2011? If you were watching Hellraiser Revelations, ccongratulations for being one of the survivors! So why would we ask you to watch it again with us? I'm not quite sure. I guess the answer is, "What if something wack happens?" Also, if you're ever in doubt, reference Niko Bradley's guide to pronouncing Tijuana. It's a celebration over at The New Flesh HQ this week as the HELLRAISER franchise comes to a screeching halt with possibly the two worst entries in the franchise, HELLWORLD and REVELATIONS. Before getting into just how far the series has fallen, Brett and Joe have a whole lot to talk about, including Ween, Ben Wheatley's HIGH-RISE, Jake Gyllenhaal's DEMOLITION, the spectacularly batshit GODS OF EGYPT, and even Sam Peckinpah's THE GETAWAY. After breaking down whether festival favorite HUSH, which is now on Netflix, does or does not live up to the hype, Joe and Brett passionately endorse Karyn Kusama's THE INVITATION, which is finally available on VOD. You'll definitely want to stick around for the HELLRAISER discussion, as REVELATIONS may be the worst movie our hosts have ever seen.

Hey guys! We trim down to a one movie discussion this week since Steve is knee deep in editing. We made the great mistake of choosing Hellraiser: Revelations as our movie to watch and discuss, and we are not sure which is worse: opening the box or watching this. Guess we’ll find out! Be sure to tune in next week when we return to one of our classic review series. Thanks!

From the shadowy void does rusty chains shoot, digging their way into supple flesh. As the box is caressed and opened, all is revealed in this TALES FROM THE BOP! For this installment, two members of the crew have returned from their gaze into hell and used the blood of the living to bring themselves back for one reason: To record this episode! Skinless or not, Mike and James sit down with the rest of the crew and recount, step-by-step, their horrifying encounter with the Doug Bradley-less, porno budgeted, direct to video rigmarole, HELLRAISER: REVELATIONS. Open the box on this Tale From The BOP by downloading here!
