One of the most discussed themes nowadays in the area of workplace sexual harassment prevention is the trauma-informed approach. What is it, why are we talking about it, and how can we adopt it in PoSH? We're excited to the discussing this topic in this month's episode with our guest Dr.Anagha Sarpotdar. About our Guest: Anagha Sarpotdar is a practitioner and researcher working on social and legal aspects of sexual harassment at workplace. She has PhD degree in Social Sciences from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). Her PhD research was focused on social and legal aspects of sexual harassment at workplace. Her article on Sexual Harassment at Workplace published by EPW in November 2016 has found place in documentation namely Parliamentary Documentation done by Parliament of India. She was appointed as Chairperson of the Local Committee constituted by the District Women and Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra and District Collector Office, Mumbai City under Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (PPR) Act, 2013 in 2018 and again in 2021. Anagha was also invited by the UN (United Nations) Women, India Office as discussion panelist to provide feedback regarding implementation of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (PPR) Act, 2013 in Mumbai. Diego era apenas um jovem bom de bola no Triângulo Mineiro e que até havia tentado a chance em algumas peneiras, mas já vivia uma realidade na atividade rural de sua cidade. Aos 17 anos, ele era chamado para preencher uma vaga no carro que iria levar outros meninos para um teste no Flamengo. A chance inesperada acabaria mudando a vida do menino mineiro... o único do carro a passar no teste. Cinco anos depois, o jovem atacante mineiro era um profissional promissor, mas que não tinha tido chances no profissional do Rubro Negro. Foi então que em 2011 o seu material seria muito bem visto pelos russos do FK Nizhny Novgorod e para o frio da Rússia ele partiria. A curta passagem pelo primeiro time de lá seria muito boa, permitindo uma nova oportunidade no Luch Vladivostok. Jogar no time russo que era mais perto do Japão que qualquer outra parte de seu país de origem foi um desafio para o atleta. Muitos vôos e pouca adaptação pesaram na decisão de preferir um desafio no Ufa. A aposta foi muito certeira, tendo ficado por 5 temporadas no novo time e conseguindo o acesso à elite do futebol da Rússia. Com quase 100 jogos pelo time, Diego já tinha virado uma referência ofensiva para o clube. Em 2017, acabaria saindo do clube e tendo uma breve passagem pelo São Bento, de Sorocaba (SP). A etapa seguinte de sua carreira seria em outro país grande e com poucos brasileiros na bola: a Índia. Em duas temporadas pelo Pune City, Diego vivia um bom momento, quando se deparou com uma realidade pouco comum no mundo do futebol: a franquia da cidade se mudaria para Hyderabad, fazendo com que muitas outras mudanças ocorressem, inclusive a própria ida para o Mumbai City em 2019. Com uma temporada pelo time que logo depois se tornaria campeão indiano, Diego acabou voltando ao Brasil pouco antes da pandemia e por aqui acabou ficando desde então. In view of the impending severe Nisarga Cyclone, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been kept on alert in Maharashtra, as necessary preventive action. According to a Hindustan Times report, sixteen teams of NDRF, comprising 45 jawans each, are on alert in the state. While 10 teams have been deployed, six are kept on standby. The Nisarga cyclone has intensified and is expected to make landfall on June 3. Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Raigad, Thane, Mumbai City, Mumbai Suburban and Palghar districts are on alert. Manchester City owner acquires Mumbai City The owner of Manchester City has agreed to buy Mumbai City football club as part of its international expansion efforts. City Football Group says it's acquired a controlling 65-percent stake in the Indian club, without disclosing the financial details. The deal comes a day after the group announced a half-a-billion dollar investment from US private equity firm Silver Lake. Virgin Money cancels dividend as losses widen Virgin Money has ditched plans to pay a dividend this year after it reported lower-than-expected earnings. The British lender says it's lost 250 million dollars in the year to September due to an additional 500 million dollar hit related to an insurance scandal. Revenue also slipped by three percent to two billion dollars. Japan beer exports to South Korea fall to zero Japanese beer shipments to South Korea plunged to zero last month as a boycott against Japan weighed on demand. The Asian neighbours are feuding over the historical issue of forced labour during World War Two. Tensions mounted in July when Tokyo tightened checks on South Korean exports of chip-making materials.
