This week on the show Ang is joined by Nadine Pittam, accredited psychotherapist and host of the “This Won't Fix You”. Nadine specialises in working with clients who experience intense feelings of love and are prone to obsessions, or more commonly referred to as ‘love addicts'.  The majority of Nadine's work centres around helping people come to terms with the loss of a loved one, the very definition of divorce. In this interview with Ang, Nadine addresses what physiotherapy actually is, its benefits and shares some fascinating insights on how we feel about our feelings.   KEY TAKEAWAYS  ●      A lot of people have predetermined ideas of what psychotherapy entails, mainly based on its portrait in the movies. However, Nadine describes what therapy really entails and the benefits that come from it. ●      Trauma can present itself in multiple ways and, sometimes, they are not always obvious. Nadine and Ang discuss some of the ways trauma can manifest and why it is important to address it before it takes hold. ●      After experiencing a divorce it is very common to suddenly feel incomplete, to feel that our ‘other half' has disappeared. Nadine explains the importance of acknowledging these feelings and the steps you can take to process these thoughts.  ●      Those people that do enter into therapy use it as a tool to get past the impending crisis they are facing. However, as Nadine explains, those that enter into therapy for the long haul have an opportunity to transform their lives in ways they never thought possible.     BEST MOMENTS “Whoever you are or whatever you've done, your behaviour makes sense.” “Therapy isn't talking about your feelings, it's talking about how you feel about your feelings.” “If you keep something in the dark for long enough, it will develop.”   EPISODE LINKS If you enjoy this podcast here is the link to the book 'Do I Really H*te Men?'. They'll requalify your applicants and insure their rent. If the resident doesn't pay, you still get paid. www.TheGuarantors.com/Multifamily today! Remember Coldplay's song "Fix You"? It's a reminder, don't try to fix people in life and leadership. People don't want to be seen as broken at work or in their personal life. They want guidance, not fixing. Here's why: Resistance and Defensiveness: When you try to fix people, they often become resistant and defensive. This creates a barrier to communication and growth and can even damage relationships. Empowering Self-Discovery: Instead of fixing, be a guide. Help others find their own solutions by asking questions and offering support. Don't impose solutions; instead, facilitate self-discovery. This leads to lasting change because it empowers them to take ownership of their growth. Authentic Support: Genuine guidance helps people feel supported and valued. It's not about manipulation but authentically helping others navigate their challenges and find their path. By shifting from fixing to guiding, you can foster an environment where people feel empowered to grow and succeed on their own terms. He ultimately chose to join Team Reba, where he and teammate Alyssa Crosby performed a rousing duet of Tina Turner's "We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)" during the Battle Round. In the Knockout round, he had all the coaches on their feet during a showstopping performance of Toni Braxton's "Unbreak My Heart." During both rounds, Reba chose HaVon to move on while his teammates were quickly stolen by other coaches. During the Playoffs, HaVon gave the audience chills with an emotional rendition of David Guetta and Sia's "Titanium," securing a spot in the Top 12. In the first live show, he performed "I'll Make Love to You" by Boyz II Men, wowing with his technical ability. During the semifinals, HaVon joined Madison Curbelo and Serenity Arce for a haunting trio performance of "Fix You" by Coldplay and then stepped outside his comfort zone with his version of Beyoncé's massive hit "Irreplaceable." On Monday night's telecast, HaVon continued to impress the coaches and viewers alike with an up-tempo live performance of "Last Dance" by Donna Summer as well as a down-tempo performance of "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston. Before being crowned the winner at the conclusion of tonight's finale, HaVon was joined on stage by coach Reba McEntire for a soulful duet of "On My Own," by Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald. Following her first win, coach Reba McEntire will return to "The Voice" Season 26 as the reigning champ, alongside new coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé and returning coach Gwen Stefani. HaVon's presence on the show's social media platforms this season garnered immense popularity. A magical morning routine should be intentional, not necessarily productive. Think drinking tea in the candlelight, turning your face up to the morning sun, dancing, reading, sitting quietly… the possibilities are endless! As we walk in the rain, start to imagine a morning practice that feeds your soul, burpees and green smoothies do not have to be included. What am I reading? This episode of "The Other Side of The Bell" is brought to you by Bob Reeves Brass. Please enjoy this conversation with John and world-renowned trumpeter, Chris Botti. Chris was featured back in  Episode #24, and now again in Episode #113 with the release of his first album in over 10 years.  A video version of this episode is also available on YouTube. About Chris Botti Trumpeter Chris Botti s renowned for his versatility in both jazz and pop music. His mother, a pianist and teacher, was his first musical influence. Botti began playing trumpet at nine and fully committed to it at 12 after hearing Miles Davis. His early achievements include performing at Carnegie Hall with the McDonald's All American High School Jazz band. During his formative years, Botti was significantly influenced by his time at Indiana University, where he studied under renowned jazz educators David Baker and William Adam. This period was crucial in shaping his musical style and approach. Botti's career took off with short touring stints with Frank Sinatra and Buddy Rich, and his relationship with Paul Simon in the 1990s further expanded his musical collaborations. Additionally, Botti's association with Sting, particularly touring as a featured soloist in Sting's "Brand New Day" tour, played a pivotal role in his career. This collaboration not only broadened his musical exposure but also significantly influenced the trajectory of his career, marking a key phase in his development as a musician. His solo debut album, "First Wish," was released in 1995, marking the start of a successful solo career. Botti's work often bridges jazz and pop, demonstrated in albums like "A Thousand Kisses Deep" and "When I Fall in Love." His album "Impressions" won a Grammy in 2013 for Best Pop Instrumental Album, a category for which he had received several nominations. Chris Botti's current projects showcase his enduring creativity and versatility as a musician, including his Blue Note Records debut, "Vol. 1," released on October 20th. This album marks a fresh start for Botti, emphasizing a return to the jazz essence of his artistry. "Vol. 1" features beautiful new ballad renditions of standards, including “Old Folks,” “My Funny Valentine,” “Someday My Prince Will Come,” and “Blue In Green.” This project signifies Botti crossing back to acoustic jazz and classic standards after achieving crossover success in both jazz and pop arenas. In addition to his new album, Botti is embarking on an innovative venture, "Botti at Sea." This luxury cruise, personally curated by Botti, promises an exceptional experience of ensemble entertainment and showmanship. Scheduled to sail from February 8 to 15, 2024, the cruise departs from Miami with stops in Aruba and Curaçao. "Botti at Sea" is set to offer a unique blend of music and luxury, further highlighting Botti's flair for combining artistic pursuits with novel experiences. By the time 2008 arrived, Coldplay were arguably the biggest rock band in the world. With their uplifting, emotionally charged soft rock, Coldplay quickly established themselves as heirs to U2. From the release of their debut album, Parachutes, in 2000, the band caught lightning in a bottle. The album's wistful second single, “Yellow,” was an international hit. Their second album, 2002's A Rush of Blood to the Head, elevated them to the next level, selling more than 17 million copies and netting them 3 Grammy Awards. Coldplay were no longer the little Brit band that could, they were the big Brit band that did! Singer Chris Martin was now a bona fide heartthrob, but he wasn't on the market for long. He met Gwyneth Paltrow on tour and - boom - one year later they were married!  After that, life and touring slowed things down a little for Coldplay, but in 2005 they returned with their third album, X&Y. Although it didn't show much progress creatively, the album once again sold kajillions of copies and gave us the mega-ballad “Fix You,” which Martin wrote for his famous wife after her father died. X&Y closed the book on what Coldplay's album trilogy, as guitarist Jonny Buckland would call it. He told Rolling Stone in 2008, “We felt like the first three albums were a trilogy, and we finished that. So we wanted to do something different.” The band found a new studio, converting an old bakery squished between an estate agent and a restaurant that they could use as both a headquarters and a space to rehearse and record.  Taking a page out of U2's book, the band hired Brian Eno, the father of ambient music, to co-produce their next album. Known for helping artists like U2 and Talking Heads expand their sound, when Coldplay first asked the producer what they should do differently this time around, he was, well, brutally honest. In a 2008 interview with Rolling Stone, Chris Martin recalled how Brian Eno did not hold back, saying quote  “Your songs are too long. And you're too repetitive, and you use the same tricks too much, and big things aren't necessarily good things, and you use the same sounds too much, and your lyrics are not good enough.” With Eno now on board, and a hunger to truly reinvent every facet of themselves, Coldplay would embark on their most ambitious project yet: Viva La Vida. JOKE SILVA: The Standard of the Woman To Marry ~ Olu Jacobs. (5 Tips)

EMPIRE LIFESTYLE

Wow... isn't she lovely... Ms. Joke Silva.  A.k.A Mrs. Joke Olu-Jacobs, the wife of a veteran Nigerian actor who starred in several British television series and international films... --> READ THE BLOG POST HERE https://lolaandola.com/joke-silva-the-standard-of-the-woman-to-marry-olu-jacobs-5-tips/ --> WATCH VIDEO VERSION HERE https://youtu.be/ZeHfFrKqFm8   And whose 80th birthday was celebrated by friends and lovers around the world from Lagos Nigeria on Sunday, July 10th, 2023.   If you are looking for a wife or looking to maintain a blissful marriage long term with your wife, I have extracted 5 simple but massive tips for you to apply to your own life.   The first tip is to marry a woman whose name is Joke.     Okay... That was a joke... no pun intended. My beautiful wife's middle name is also Joke.  But the chances of you finding a Joke is slimmed to almost none.   I do have another 5 tips for you.   And I QUOTE...   "‘Wow! This is the standard of the woman I'm going to marry."    That was what Olu Jacobs told his wife of some 37+ years when he first laid eyes on this beautiful young woman who was in her early 20's at the time.   Listen.  We don't know them personally... but never mind all that... This is “couple goals”.     At least, we can see a real life example of what marriage was designed to do even in the entertainment industry which is notorious for random divorces.    Did you see my last video on Funke Akindele and JJC Akindele… Gentlemen… we have to step our game up.  These women belong to you if you can get your sh*t together.   Don't you get tired of the horrible divorce, paternity fraud, and etc stories?   Anyway, if you are struggling in dating, relationships, marriage, parenting, career etc... Consider sending me a text message with the word "HELP" to +1 (732) 517-7532 and I will see what I can do.   Let's countdown the 5 tips from Mr Olu Jacobs and Ms Joke Silva.   Tip #5 - Avoid attachments to ideology   A lot of young men these days, in response to the decline to the pride that comes with the nuclear family, are now subscribing to archaic ideologies as a quick solution.   In fact, it's a major talking point that one of the signs of unruly women is when they choose to keep their maiden name as opposed to changing to their husband's family name as the new last or surname.   While I recognize the pride attached to the culture of women changing names once they get married, there is something to say to a man who is secure in himself enough to say these words and managed to keep his home together for 37+ years.   And I'm quote...   “She is her individual.    When I met her, she was an actress known as Joke Silva, so why should marrying me deny her audience her name.    She is Miss Joke Silva, who is Mrs Joke Jacobs.    It is as simple as that.    People now begin to say all sorts. They have even written that we are separated and all sorts of stuff.    When she is working, she is Joke Silva, but she is Mrs Joke Jacobs at home,”   That was Olu Jacobs speaking to rumors in the past.  Tabloids used to be entertainment for women.     But sadly in this modern era, men would join and shame this man who actually is an example of their secret desired results.   They shame him because he chose not to have an unhealthy attachment to the ideology of his wife changing her brand name after getting married as far back as 37+ years ago in the still "traditional non-westernized" Nigeria.   You've sworn you know everything about the traditional Africans right?   Sure you should stand for something so you don't fall just for anything.  But as a man, you must know how to identify and create valid exceptions in life.  If you don't, you will suffer from your own ignorance.   Tip #4 - Make finances the least of your problems when it comes to marriage   In a few Instagram posts on July 10th, 2023, you can see Ms. Joke Silva fitting her husband, visually appearing to be in his old age but also sick with a condition called Dementia with Lewy bodies.   Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) is a type of progressive dementia that leads to a decline in thinking, reasoning and independent function.   Many young man today are stupidly concerned about how much weight a lady gains after having the first baby when that's fundamentally an attraction issue that should have been ironed out earlier.     Others worried about superficial nonsense like if she makes more money or not... fundamentally an insecurity issue on the part of the man.   In reality, these are the least of your issues when you are doing life with a person you love and are in-love with.  Inevitably, crises will fall on you and whoever you are spending time with in life.   If you are an immature person, the easiest thing for you to do is to blame it on the closest person or things like finances, infidelity, in-laws.... but the reality is that there are deeper issues…   And Ultimately… you do not know tomorrow… but yet acting like God.   Focus on finding a wife... a good thing... someone you can see yourself with when you are sick and 90 years olds... flat boobs, wrinkle... and all.... provided you feel a physical attraction to them today.   Anxiety about tomorrow and yesterday will destroy and rob you of your chances of achieving true joy.   Clearly... Olu Jacobs is reaping what he sowed over the last 37 years and most likely beyond.   Tip #3 - Leverage your work and reputation to do the bragging for you.   When Aunty Joke first met Uncle Olu at a rehearsal around 1981, she had heard a lot of good things about him... “a man coming from England to play the lead role.”   The anticipation and excitement about a person she had never met... she looked forward to meeting him.   In this time and age, there are many men of all ages sadly roaming around social media creating reputations of polar opposite.     Many ladies are pinged into online and social media spaces to hear how some men have chosen to address women in disrespectful, generalized and rude manners.   That's also a form of reputation right?   Well, Law 5 of the 48 laws of power by Robert Greene says "So Much Depends on Reputation — Guard It with Your Life."   Question of the day: Do you think Mr Olu Jacobs' reputation that worked ahead of him made it easier for him to woo a fine lady like Ms Joke Silva or it didn't matter what type of reputation it was?   Answer me in the comment area below.    Tip #2 - Forgive yourself and move forward.   When they first met, here was his first statement and I quote...  "Wow! This is the standard of the woman I'm going to marry."   Ms Joke Silva thought it was a rubbish pick up line.  But she said, he continued to demonstrate being a "wonderful" person during the rehearsals.    She thought he realized... and I quote... "He had made a faux pas and tried to get in my good graces after that. And we became excellent friends."   I would argue that he confidently forgave himself as fast as humanly possible if at all necessary and moved on to demonstrate self-respect, self-validation, high self-esteem which in turn made her feel safe and secure around him.   Does a typical woman feel safe and secure around you after running your mouth online?  I am not talking about the women advocating for men's rights online.   Are you attracting the S.I.G.N language from the typical woman and having a hard time holding yourself accountable?   Shame, Insults, Guilt, Need to be right… Nagging.  Or maybe… you are the first to beat the ladies to the S.I.G.N language… “these 304s ain't sh*t!”   What I observe these days are a bunch of young men who need external validation in order to remain in their masculine frame; an oxy-freaking-moron.     They need the modern woman to be checked and roasted constantly; needy behavior.   Tip #1 - Leverage her feminine energy   The feminine energy is there ready to receive, multiply and reciprocate back to you.  It's like the ocean with a massive chaotic-like trend.  If you attempt to swim against it, you will drown yourself.   That's a whole series of processes, it takes time and that whole phenomenon and the respect that comes with it will be earned; no exceptions.  Yes! The beautiful feminine energy is conditional.   The conditions and passing the non-intentional and endless shit tests from women overall is what makes you a man.     If you have problems with this reality, you will attempt to "fake-masculine" and demand respect and you will fall flat on your face all bruised up 100% of the time.   Feel free to try and prove me wrong.   In no way, shape or form am I asking you to engage an unruly or disrespectful woman and attempt saving her, you will fail.     But I will continue to hold you accountable for engaging unruly or disrespectful community of women and attempting to save them.   It's a YOU problem.  Stop the cap and Fix YOU!
