Mlada slovenska avtorica Urša Majcen je pred kratkim pri založbi Goga izdala zbirko dramskih besedil z naslovom Vaje z ribo; pred tem je leta 2021 izšel njen pesniški prvenec, zbirka poezije z naslovom ekosistem tišine, dve leti kasneje pa tiskana izdaja dramskega besedila Zgodba o bakrenem kralju. Njen ustvarjalni opus se razteza med poezijo, dramatiko, filmom in performativnimi umetnostmi, zato je pogovor priložnost za vpogled v različne plasti ustvarjanja dramaturginje, dramatičarke, pesnice pa tudi scenaristke in multimedijske performerke.

Lakota, revščina, spomin, užitek, razrednost, zgodovina, razkrivanje družbe. Teme, skozi katere antropologinja Svetlana Slapšak v knjigi Kuhinja revežev: Eseji in recepti založbe Goga razmišlja o hrani kot političnem, družbenem, kulturnem in intimnem vprašanju. Zelo neposredno govori o krivicah v svetu. Zaradi draginje je hrana vse bolj stvar prestiža, ne pa dobrina, ki bi morala biti dostopna vsem, in sicer tako cenovno kot po kakovosti ter da ni škodljiva za zdravje. Kot poznavalka antičnih svetov in antropologije spolov se v knjigi opira na dve temi, ki ju tudi sicer najraje obravnava v svojih raziskavah: ena je revščina, druga pa Balkan in njegova celotna antična zgodovina hrane. După 14 ani de la precedentul său roman, Filip Florian revine în atenția cititorilor cu o nouă carte. Se numește „Media aritmetică” și a apărut la Polirom. Și este o poveste scrisă la persoana întîi de un fost sublocotenent de artilerie, Tudi (Tudor) Vlădoianu, care, după ce a luptat în Al Doilea Război Mondial, în 1948 se vede nevoit să se ascundă în podul unei mătuși. Pentru că rușii redeschid o anchetă legată de o ambuscadă în care a fost implicat în toamna lui 1944, cînd românii luptau alături de ruși, aproape de Budapesta. Și, ascuns în pod, Tudi începe să scrie. Despre întîmplări din viața lui, despre evenimente dinaintea războiului, din război și de după, dar și despre evenimente ceva mai vechi, despre Primul Război Mondial, la care a participat tatăl său. Am vorbit cu Filip Florian despre personajul pe care l-a creat, despre puterea cuvîntului scris pe care o descoperă naratorul său, despre istoria sîngeroasă a primei jumătăți a secolului trecut, despre interbelicul deloc idilic și despre atmosfera acelor ani, pe care o reconstituie în roman. Și, desigur, despre misteriosul titlu al cărții. Filip Florian: „M-am gîndit mult cum să apuc lucrurile astea, înainte de a începe. Fiindcă, să faci o salată și să amesteci tot felul de povești, începînd de la Primul Război Mondial, sau ușor dinainte, și mergînd pînă în anii aceia destul de negri, '48-'49, e foarte complicat. Așa încît, cedîndu-i acestui om dreptul de a vorbi la persoana întîi, a fost o ușurare foarte mare. El nu are pretenția că ține un jurnal, ci scrie în acel pod pentru a nu înnebuni, pentru a nu se da cu capul de pereți. Începe mai degrabă din acest motiv. Are nevoie de un soi de descărcare, de pace interioară pe care scrisul, măcar minimal, i-o oferă. În al doilea rînd, pentru că nu ține un jurnal, cu povești simple de zi cu zi, își permite să scrie orice și oricînd. Asta mi-a și plăcut teribil. Să penduleze în timp absolut după pofta lui. Dacă într-o zi, de exemplu, îi e dor de o bunică, scrie despre acea bunică și despre niște povești legate de ea. Dacă a doua zi își amintește nu știu ce grozăvie din război, scrie despre asta. Bineînțeles că toate au legătură între ele, ceea ce sper că se vede destul de clar și de bine în carte. Însă, această mișcare înainte-înapoi creează, după mine, și o șansă mai mare de a vedea cît de legate sînt, de fapt, toate lucrurile între ele. Nimic nu s-a întîmplat și nu se întîmplă din senin. Mie mi-a convenit epoca de atunci, dar în același timp, scriind, m-am trezit că parcă prezentul ar veni peste mine și personajul meu, în acel pod. Bunăoară, eu am început înainte de a exista războiul din Ucraina. Am tot vorbit despre armata rusă, despre ruși, despre tot felul de mizerii de-ale lor de pe front. (...) Așa încît, deodată m-am trezit cu războiul ăla care semăna cutremurător cu ce scriam. Apoi, vorbind despre anii '30, excesele extremei drepte, legionarii, guvernarea lui Goga, multe măsuri absolut aberante, toate acele legi din perioada dictaturii carliste, m-am trezit și ne-am trezit cu toții cu ultimele alegeri. Mai întîi prezidențiale și apoi parlamentare și cu o realitate complet nouă în România de azi. Nu despre asta am vrut să scriu, însă vorbesc despre fascinația unui scriitor de a vedea că o realitate care aparent e veche e aproape aceeași cu cea din prezent.”Media aritmetică este o modalitate personală de calcul a naratorului: dă note evenimentelor dintr-o zi, apoi adună notele și împarte rezultatul la numărul evenimentelor. Așa obține „media aritmetică”, „o medie care, invariabil, se învârtea şi se învârte în jurul cifrei şapte.” Ce semnificație are această ciudățenie?Filip Florian: „Sigur că e și un joc, dar pe de altă parte, pentru el, e și un fel de leac tot calculul ăsta. Într-o zi te gîndești numai la lucruri cumplit de rele. Deci, n-ar avea, în teorie, cum să iasă șapte. Dar, totuși, ridicîndu-te puțin deasupra lucrurilor sau vieții și constatînd, bunăoară, că tu ești întreg fizic, în timp ce alții, oameni care s-au întors de pe front, sînt infirmi sau, mai știu eu, foarte grav bolnavi, fără să vrei, trebuie să dai o notă bună acestei povești, că tu, fizic, încă ești complet întreg. Așa încît, forțînd un pic nota, ce-i drept, și găsind permanent și note bune, poți ajunge la acel șapte, care e o formulă a echilibrului. Asta mă fascinează de mulți ani. Nu-i vorba doar de cartea asta. Parcă atunci cînd ți se întîmplă tot felul de chestii bune, nu știu cum, în timp destul de scurt, vine ceva să le echilibreze. Și invers, dacă treci prin drame, prin povești foarte rele, de asemenea, în destul de scurt timp, se întîmplă ceva bun, care echilibrează.”Despre perioada interbelică descrisă în carte, o perioadă idealizată după 1990, Filip Florian spune:„Cred că noi, după '90, am avut un soi de exces anticomunist, ușor întîrziat, poate și fiindcă România n-a fost cea mai eroică țară, n-a existat o Primăvară de la Praga, o revoluție cum a fost cea maghiară din 1956, n-am avut lideri ca Lech Wałęsa sau un sindicat ca Solidaritatea. Dacă e să luăm tot blocul comunist estic, am fost cam pe la coadă, din păcate, așa încît senzația mea e că am căzut într-un exces anticomunist, lucru care a dus imediat și aproape inevitabil la o idealizare a interbelicului, la o prezentare a lui ca un soi de pămînt feeric, de perioadă magică. Or, încet, încet, privind mai bine epoca aia, constatăm că n-a prea fost așa, din foarte multe motive. Adică nu văd de ce extrema dreaptă și tot soiul de crime și masacre sînt băgate ușor sub preș, uitate, ignorate și alegem cu penseta doar ce a fost bun atunci. Și apoi s-au petrecut lucruri cumplite, mai ales pe frontul de Est. De asemenea, e un fel de tăcere deplină a tuturor pe subiectul ăsta. Lucruri care aproape au șocat și ofițerii germani, care, pur și simplu, nu își puteau imagina ce-i cu acea furie antisemită românească și cu ororile și pogromurile de la Odesa sau din lagărul de la Bogdanovca, ulterior. Așa încît, într-un fel, cel puțin pentru mine, cu cartea asta am încercat să echilibrez lucrurile, fiindcă altfel n-am înțelege de ce vorbim numai și numai și numai despre închisorile staliniste, care au fost, evident, ceva oribil. Tragedie e puțin spus. Dar, totuși, lumea n-a început cu ele. Au fost foarte mari mîrșăvii și înaintea lor. Na dan zmage pa bo temu primeren tudi izbor knjige v današnjem Sobotnem branju. Volkuljin sin (Založba Goga) – knjigo sta napisala Anton Špacapan Vončina in Francesco Tomada, prevedel jo je Gašper Malej, saj je sprva izšla v italijanščini – se dogaja v 30-ih letih prejšnjega stoletja, ko se je nad obmejno vasico Čepovan na severnem Primorskem vse bolj zgrinjala senca fašizma. Ker gre za politično pravljico, pa ima knjiga v sebi tudi elemente magičnega realizma. Oddajo je pripravila Tina Lamovšek.

Božidar Jakac – Podobe Bele krajine je naslov razstave, ki jo bodo ob 19ih odprli v Galeriji Kambič v Metliki. Razstava sodi v sklop praznovanj ob 75 letnici Belokranjskega muzeja in 25 letnici Galerije Kambič, ki je enota Belokranjskega muzeja. Pia Prezelj, pisateljica, ki je pred tremi leti za roman Težka voda prejela nagrado za najboljši prvenec in bila nominirana še za tri nagrade, v novem romanu Bili smo trije raziskuje v meglo zavito družinsko preteklost in s tem vprašanja intimne identitete in odnosov. Roman je izdala novomeška založba Goga.

Dīsbahs, nepareizi sajaucot reaģentus, radīja piesātinātu tumši zilu krāsu. Vizuālajā mākslā „Prūsijas zilo” piemin, runājot par japāņu gleznotāja Kacušikas Hokusai ļoti atpazīstamo gleznu „Lielais Kanagavas vilnis”. Tāpat šo krāsu var labi redzēt van Goga  darbā „Zvaigžņotā nakts virs Ronas”, bet ar šo krāsvielu mūsdienās ļoti daudz darbojas ķīmiķi, fiziķi, tā tiek izmantota  rūpniecībā, medicīnā, farmakoloģijā. V pripovedno, ironično-satiričnem esejističnem romanu Kje smo? antropologinje in pisateljice dr. Svetlane Slapšak se Ljubljana razkriva kot steganogram spomina – mesto skritih pomenov, prehodov in pozab.   Avtorica prepleta zgodbe resničnih, mitoloških in skoraj izbrisanih osebnosti, ki so mesto zaznamovale ali pa so mu bile zgolj bežno blizu. Nekatere, vpisane v zgodovino ali pisateljičino notranjo refleksijo, v Ljubljani najdejo novo življenje in poslanstvo, druge sprejmejo usodne, dobre ali slabe odločitve, za tretjimi ostane le posvetilo na nagrobnem kamnu. Pisateljica tako vstopa v dialog z zgodovinskimi in mitičnimi liki, skozi njihove glasove gradi spomin na Ljubljano, hkrati pa razkriva mehanizme pozabe, družbene neenakosti in sistemske zapostavljenosti žensk skozi čas, vendar ne v slogu uveljavljenih stereotipov. Roman se simbolno začne z legendo o Argonavtih, ki naj bi po eni izmed različic mita ustanovili rimsko Emono, v ospredje pa je – poleg številnih drugih, postavljen tudi baladni, skrivnostni motiv Povodnega moža. Ti mitološki in literarni referenčni okviri se nenehno prepletajo z zgodovinskimi plastmi mesta ter z osebnimi in kolektivnimi spomini. Številni liki, figure, živali in motivi vstopajo v dialog z antičnim in mitološkim, pri čemer se z branjem postopoma odstirajo različni svetovi. Strukturno izhodišče romana je matematična formula Iva Laha, ki ladjo Argo razstavi na njene nedeljive dele – podobno kot so jo morali Argonavti razstaviti in prenesti do morja. Ta ideja razstavljanja in ponovnega sestavljanja postane temelj romana, katerega podnaslov se navezuje na steganografijo: skrito sporočilo znotraj drugega sporočila. Kje smo? je žanrsko heterogeno in slogovno hibridno delo, najbližje menipski satiri, v kateri se poetičnost spaja tako s tragiko kot komiko in parodijo. Roman zaznamuje izrazita jezikovna raznolikost, bogastvo kulturnih referenc in močna osebna izpoved. Avtorica pogosto črpa iz lastnega spomina: otroštva, šolanja, žensk, ki so oblikovale njen svetovni nazor, profesorjev, izjemnih osebnosti in partnerstev. Brez zadržkov odstira svoj intimni doživljajski kozmos, ki se s prekrivanjem realnega in fiktivnega zlije v  nenehno prepletajoče sovpadanje poetičnosti, ironije in melanholije, pretresljivosti in družbene kritike. Pisatelj in publicist Miha Mazzini je pred kratkim dobil priznanje, ki ga dobijo le redki slovenski književniki: v zbirki Kondor je izšlo njegovo literarno delo, njegov prvi roman Drobtinice. Pri založbi Goga je Mazzini objavil tudi novo zbirko kratkih zgodb z naslovom Druga življenja in tako ponovno dokazal, da je mojster kratke zgodbe. Objavljene zgodbe so zelo različne, imajo pa skupen imenovalec: izpeljane so prepričljivo, natančno in zanimivo. Mazzini pa je tudi zanimiv sogovornik. Nikar ne zamudite.
