Der zweite Teil des Pre-Patch zur kommenden Erweiterung WoW: Dragonflight ist seit einer guten Woche auf den Live-Servern und sowohl Phil als auch Seb haben sich vor allem mit dem Pre-Event und der neuen Klasse des Rufers beschäftigt. Während einer der beiden ziemlich begeistert von den Fähigkeiten und besonders deren Wandlung im Laufe der Testzeit ist, musste der andere feststellen, dass sich die Dracthyr am Ende der Einführung gar nicht zwischen Horde und Allianz entscheiden dürfen. Zudem sprechen die zwei über einige Aussagen, die von den Entwicklern in vielen Interviews getätigt wurden. Unter anderem, warum die mythischen und heroischen gleichzeitig starten und warum Mists of Pandaria die Grenze für die Rückkehr alter Dungeons ist. Zudem sprechen die beiden über die neue Philosophie der Entwickler, die Karotte vor der Nase des Charakters gegen mehr Twinkfreundlichkeit einzutauschen. Am Ende ist natürlich auch noch das Ende von Blizzard in China ein Thema. Der kalifornische Entwickler beendet die Zusammenarbeit mit Publisher Netease und sucht jetzt nach einem neuen Partner. Wie immer legen wir ein hervorragendes Timing mit dem buffedCast an den Tag. In der virtuellen Tonkabine unterhalten sich Seb und Phil darüber, warum Blizzard den Pre-Patch von WoW: Dragonflight nicht einfach ankündigt, zumal das Datum ohnehin ein offenes Geheimnis ist. Und wenige Stunden danach haben die Entwickler ein Einsehen und den Pre-Patch für den 26. Oktober angekündigt. Was euch darin erwartet, das verraten euch die beiden natürlich trotzdem. Im Anschluss diskutieren die beiden noch über Overwatch 2, das mit seinem Release großen Erfolg feiern konnte. Immerhin 25 Millionen Spieler waren in den ersten zehn Tagen in dem Helden-Shooter unterwegs - trotz der anfänglichen Probleme. Für unsere beiden Redakteure steht dabei fest: Overwatch macht weiterhin verdammt viel Spaß. Ob es wirklich zu einem Erfolg wird, können die Zahlen jetzt aber noch nicht zeigen. Denn bei einem Free2Play ist am Anfang naturgemäß immer viel los. Ganz am Ende schweifen die beiden dann noch ein wenig ab und diskutieren über das neue Werbe-Abo von Netflix und warum diese Maßnahme eigentlich schon seit langer Zeit abzusehen war und wohl die Zukunft des Streamings mitgestalten wird. Denn auch dort haben die Verantwortlichen von Blizzard neue Infos rausgehauen. Und ohne zu viel zu spoilern: Wir sind nicht von ihren Plänen begeistert. Auch Amazon Games ist ein Thema im buffedCast. Denn dort scheint man weitere Spiele publishen zu wollen und wir hoffen, dass sie aus den Fehlern der Vergangenheit gelernt haben.
