In this session with Virtus, Western Sales Manager, Renee Smith shares the impact that feeding adequate levels of essential fatty acids have on embryo development and retention. Listen in to learn how feeding EPA/DHA for greater reproductive efficiency is working in breeding heifers, in IVF programs, and in lactating herds as well. This episode is sponsored by Virtus Nutrition. At Virtus Nutrition our mission is to help you feed a better balance of fatty acids to improve reproduction, health, and profitability. In the early 2000's, we invented the process to deliver EPA/DHA in a form that dairy cows can utilize. Since then, we've developed several products, including Strata and EnerG-3, that give customers flexibility in how to deliver these essential fatty acids to their cows. Lost pregnancies are costly at every stage of pregnancy, and EPA/DHA is the pregnancy nutrient that resolves inflammation, supports healthy embryo development, and improves retention of pregnancy.

Here he is - a blast from our not-so-distant past! Matt Kibler is the Director of Business Development for Custom Training Solutions which is a division of Northwest State Community College. Those who interact with us during our day-jobs may remember that Matt used to work for the Learning Center, but he took an opportunity he couldn't refuse AND we still get to work with him in his new role. With Matt, we dive into workforce development and the specific trainings that he helps facilitate. He works directly with employers and the employees he helps train, so he has a really good grasp on our regional workforce wins and where we might have room to grow. The truth is, upskilling current operations compared to hiring is the most cost-effective option. Custom Training Solutions can help employers tailor their training specific to their deficits. There are a few small scuttles on the coach - of course - but overall this was a fun, lighthearted convo with one of our favorite guys in the business! Plus, Matt brings up grant dollars that might just help your business get the training you need. Get to know us ...And, find us on Apple to leave us a review!Or, listen to our favorite songs ; -)

In this episode, Miranda Renee Smith shares her secret to achieving her dreams and aspirations. "I'm learning that if I want to make big strides in any area of my life, I have to be willing to take risks and to risk failure." As a student at BYU majoring in theatre/music, she has been forced to find out who she really is and what she is made of. "I think a lot of people shy away from what they truly want because they're scared and admitting what you want and being real with your desires is scary because what if they don't happen, what if they don't come true." Miranda offers her wisdom and advice about possibilities that exist for each of us.. "Ask yourself "what else could be possible... I find that a lot of people tend to limit themselves very quickly when there's a desire that they want but their brain shuts it down because it's not realistic... just entertain the question 'what else could be possible' and kind of let your mind and your brain go wild with what could be possible."
