It's Tuesday, August 9th, A.D. 2022. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Chinese Communists arrest Early Rain Covenant Church pastor The Chi-Coms are causing more trouble for the Early Rain Covenant Church, with another arrest of a pastor on August 2nd, reports China Aid. Preacher Wu Wuqing was taken from his home on a COVID-19 technicality. Pastor Wu has been arrested and harassed at least five times this year. Thus far, 200 members of the church have been arrested. Lead pastor Wang Yi is serving a nine-year sentence, and another elder is serving out a four-year sentence. Pray for Early Rain Covenant Church during these hard times of persecution by the Chinese Communists. British High Court killed 12-year-old boy by withholding oxygen The British High Court made the decision to end the life of a 12-year-old lad named Archie Battersbee by removing palliative oxygen against his parents' wishes, He died at 12:15 on Saturday afternoon, reports The Telegraph. The court also refused to allow him to die in a hospice situation. The ordeal began towards the beginning of June when his mother reported him to having possibly participated in a dangerous, foolish stunt referred to as “blackout.” The Britain's socialist medical system oversaw Archie's medical care. Trump wins Conservative Political Action Conference poll The Conservative Political Action Conference straw poll taken over the weekend in Dallas has Donald Trump still at the top of the heap for the 2024 presidential race, reports the New York Post. Trump took 69% of the vote, and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis came in a distant second place with 24% of the vote. FBI raids Trump's Mar-a-Lago Speaking of former President Trump, last night he said that his Florida Mar-a-Lago home is “under siege” and “occupied by a group of FBI agents,” reports the Epoch Times. In a post on Truth Social, he wrote, “These are dark times for our nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents.” Trump's lawyer, Christina Bobb, confirmed with CNN that the FBI seized documents from Mar-a-Lago. Biden's bill hires 87,000 new IRS agents Expect more tyranny in America. The U.S. Congress just approved another $80 billion to hire 87,000 IRS agents, in hopes of generating more tax money through tax audits and other means, reports CBN News. Listen to what Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas said from the floor of the Senate as he warned Americans of what is to come. CRUZ: “There are a lot of bad things in this bill. But few are worse than the proposal by Democrats in this bill to double the size of the IRS and create 87,000 new IRS agents. ... The House Ways and Means Committee, the minority, has put out an estimate that under this bill, there will be 1.2 million new audits per year, with over 700,000 of those new audits falling on taxpayers making $75,000 or less.” Biden's bill also raises taxes by $700 billion The massive boost to the IRS came as part of the Schumer-Manchin social spending and tax increase bill. It passed through the U.S. Senate by the narrow margin of 51-50 over the weekend. Vice President Kamala Harris cast the deciding vote. The bill increases taxes by $700 billion and spends another $400 billion on more health care subsidies and environmental programs. In a statement, Senator Cruz said, “This bill is a give-away to the Democrats' radical leftist base at the expense of middle-class Americans. It's a betrayal of President Biden's promise to not raise taxes on the middle class. Make no mistake – this bill will hurt America and hardworking Americans at a time when we can least afford it.” Biden's new taxes largest increase since 1968 According to the TaxFoundation, the Biden tax increase proposals are the largest the country has seen since 1968. The largest year to year federal expenditure increases since World War 2 occurred in 2020 under President Donald Trump, in 2008 under George W. Bush, and in 1975 under Richard Nixon. And the largest federal spending increases over the length of an administration occurred under Ronald Reagan with a 69% increase, Richard Nixon with a 60% increase, George W. Bush with a 58% increase, and Donald Trump with a 54% increase. Proverbs 28:2 explains this well. It says, “Because of the transgression of a land, many are its princes; But by a man of understanding and knowledge right will be prolonged.” Olivia Newton-John died Olivia Newton-John, the 1970s pop singer and movie star, has gone to meet her Maker at 73 years of age. Best known for her role in the 1978 film Grease, her most successful hit song, “Physical,” was banned on radio stations in the early 1980s for its scandalous lyrics. Newton-John told Fox News she felt “a little embarrassed that it was banned,” but she said, “Compared to what I'm listening to on the radio now, it's more like a lullaby.” 1 John 2:17 explains what's happening here. “The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” Honus Wagner's baseball card sold for $7.25 million And finally, hardly anybody has ever heard of him, but he was a big baseball star in the early 1900s, on the order of Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb. Honus Wagner played for the Louisville Colonels and the Pittsburgh Pirates between 1897 and 1917. His baseball card just sold for – get this -- $7.25 million, reports Fox Business. Not wanting his image associated with smoking products sold through the cards, Honus refused to allow the American Tobacco Company to use his image on the card sometime after 1909. One of the first professional baseball players in America, Honus Wagner maintained a batting average of .328 throughout his career of 2,794 games. THE THESIS: The Party has the perfect prop. Half of voters know Joe Biden is senile, unwell and a lifelong con artist. The other half of voters know he's senile, choose to believe he's honest and defend him because they have trapped themselves in a political tower of babble. THE SCRIPTURE & SCRIPTURAL RESOURCES: Jeremiah 9:6 6 You live in the midst of deception; in their deceit they refuse to acknowledge me,” declares the LORD. Bible Verses about Deceit THE NEWS & COMMENT: The Mockingbird Media and Mitch McConnell act in unison when they pretend Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi are mentally fit and not hopelessly and obviously corrupt. They both embody the poison combination of arrogance and ignorance, [AUDIO] - Pelosi: "When I was a little girl, I was told at the beach if I dug a hole deep enough we would reach China. So we've always felt a connection there." [AUDIO] - Biden says he wants to buy an electric Corvette, but can't because he's not allowed to drive while he's Vice President [AUDIO] - Biden Remarks on Inflation Reduction Act Drift off Into Delusion One of Saul Alinsky's techniques, so often used by the Clinton Cartel, is to accuse the other side of that of which you are guilty. It is obvious that the Biden Cartel is purely corrupt from the Big Guy on down, EXCLUSIVE: Report Shows Biden Admin Run By Former Registered Foreign Agents VP Joe Biden met with two Chinese energy execs in the West Wing, who are linked to his son Hunter From the Author, Josh Boswell: “Perhaps the most surprising thing about this was Hunter's lawyer's response when I asked him for comment”: So steeped in lies is the City of D.C., that there is a senior level, taxpayer provided job for people to lie to the media on behalf of the white house. This particular spokesliar has her job for two reasons: she identifies as black (for she is clearly not a biologist or anthropologist) and she says she is same-sex attracted. This woman's ignorance is on display every time she opens a notebook and reads from it pretending to answer questions and her arrogance shines as she parades it about condescending to the people who pay her. [AUDIO] - The white house spokes-liar says people dropping out of the job market are teens [AUDIO] - Then, the spokes-liar pretended gas prices are down . . . she gets Doocy-iedd Complexity is a scoundrel's haven. Mitch McConnell gave the Democrats the CHIP Act--which forces taxpayers to give hundreds of billions of dollars to companies like Hewlett Packard--and that was the linchpin the Democrats used to pass the spending orgy hilariously called in Inflation Reduction Act. [AUDIO] - Meanwhile, we have the lying, professional grifter, Mitch McConnell pretending he couldn't have stopped the latest spending orgy by the people who run Joe Biden . . . Powerline Blog notes: Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell sat for an interview with Bret Baier on Special Report last night. Senator McConnell himself has posted the video below on YouTube. In it he explains the Schumer/Manchin Bummer Beyond Belief light bill as beyond his power to affect. It is a reconciliation package that requires only the Democratic majority for adoption. “Reconciliation is something done by one party only,” McConnell explained. “There's nothing we could have done to prevent the Democrats from doing a bill that only they will vote for — so it's not a question of being played here,” he added. Translation: Republicans are innocent bystanders. However, Senator McConnell vowed to stop any reconciliation bill before he and 16 other Republican Senators joined the Democrats to pass the CHIPS spenderama. The CHIPS spenderama was the predicate to the Schumer/Manchin deal. It was to be held hostage to prevent any reconciliation bill. See Senator McConnell's tweet below. So corrupt is D.C., so arrogant are the Republicans at the top, they are simply using the passage of the Bill, which Mitch allowed by passing the CHIP Act he wanted so he could hand out our money, that the GOP is already rabble-rousing for votes based upon its passage. Republicans say Democrats will ‘pay the price' in midterms for passing massive spending bill As all of this has been going on, the purely corrupt FBI has been digging into conceal carry permit records in at least one State. But, because of the arrogance of the Deep State, disgraced liar Chris Wray refuses to answer the people's questions about why he is doing that. [AUDIO] - The FBI wants to review the sensitive personal info of Missouri concealed-carry permit holders, and yet their director can't answer simple questions as to why they need to review this info. @SenHawleyPress We know why. Arrogance comes from the top . . . [AUDIO] - An ATF agent showed up at a citizen's home to question him about a shotgun he was not "permitted" to have. The citizen called 911 and told them someone was at his door trying to take his guns. Police end up ARRESTING the ATF agent. Arrogance is at the very top of the political tower of Babble as the UN publishes workbooks to guide illegal immigrants up to the Southern Border of our Country [AUDIO] - The UN made a booklet mapping out exactly how to get through MeXi o and cross the US border! Wtf? The UN needs to GO! Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer got fellow Senator Joe Manchin to do something few have done before: convinced him to vote along Democratic party lines. Some are calling it The Manchin-Schumer bill, and even Schumer wasn't sure it would happen until the end. Mitch McConnell, and his plans to bring back an insulin cap bill in September. Plus! Daily Beast Politics Editor Matt Fuller also breaks down the new “Dark Brandon” meme about Joe Biden that the White House has even embraced. Plus! Molly and co-host Andy Levy go after Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene for crying about Alex Jones being a victim and why the current behavior of former President Donald Trump is actually pretty scary.
