Trump just sat across from Xi Jinping holding more leverage than any American president in 40 years — and what he said next has the spin machines scrambling. "They want help. We don't need help." Victor Davis Hanson breaks down why Trump's refusal to bargain may have just changed the entire game. Lance Wallnau pulls back the curtain on what really happened in China — plus the behind-the-scenes story from America's 250th rededication that mainstream media is desperate to bury. Did Trump just outplay the entire CCP without firing a shot? Lance unpacks Trump's Bret Baier and Hannity interviews, the Panama-Venezuela-Cuba-Greenland chessboard Trump is quietly clearing of Chinese influence, the Putin-Xi meeting happening right now, and the U.S./Nigerian military strike that killed Abu Bilal al-Munuki — the #2 ISIS leader globally — for the slaughter of Christians in Nigeria. Then — the story almost nobody is telling about May 17. Was America's 250th rededication actually a hinge of history moment? In this episode: • Victor Davis Hanson on why Trump holds the upper hand against China • Trump's "no quid pro quo" doctrine and what it means for Iran • How Trump pushed China out of Panama, Venezuela — and now Cuba • The Putin-Xi meeting and Trump's quiet offer to flip Russia • The U.S./Nigerian strike that killed ISIS's #2 commander for hunting Christians • The man who gave up his 6 minutes on the National Mall so Lou Engel and Dutch Sheets could speak • Paula White's quiet stand against interfaith dilution at the 250th • Trump personally reading 2 Chronicles 7:14 — "If my people..." • Why the New York Times and Sojourners are in full panic over a Christian rededication This wasn't a normal week. This is the kind of week historians look back on as the turning point — if we don't miss it. President Trump just dominated the historic summit in Beijing — and a top body language expert says he was straight-up lion-like. According to renowned expert Lillian Glass, Trump showed massive confidence and “gravitas” during his meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping. He wasn't intimidated at all — instead, he deployed powerful back pats that were both friendly and dominant, while the two leaders displayed genuine warmth and walked in perfect sync. Trump stood tall like a military man, moved with strength and stamina, and proved once again he's built for the world stage. The expert even shut down health rumors, pointing out Trump's strong walk up the Great Hall steps. We Also cover: Rand Paul on Dr. Fauci. CIA raids Tulsi Gabbards' office? Newt talks with Bret Baier, Chief Political Anchor of Fox News Channel and the anchor and executive editor of Special Report with Bret Baier, about his new book, “The Case for America: An Argument on Behalf of Our Nation.” Baier makes the case that the United States remains resilient and exceptional despite its flaws. He draws heavily on six presidents, George Washington, Ulysses S. Grant, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower, and Ronald Reagan, to describe American resilience, leadership, and optimism. He argues that the Declaration of Independence was a courageous, high-risk act that defined the nation’s core truths: choosing unity despite dissent, serving as a beacon of freedom, demonstrating a unique capacity for resilience, and remaining a land of opportunity. Their discussion extends to the founders’ disagreements, the risk they faced in signing the Declaration, and the evolution of American political rivalry and reconciliation, exemplified by the bitter split and later warm correspondence between John Adams and Thomas Jefferson. Turning to contemporary politics, Baier contends that the upcoming America 250th celebration offers a chance to rebuild shared civic affection across ideological lines by acknowledging both the country’s problems and its strengths.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Frequent personal attacks among politicians, the tense redistricting wars, and the midterm campaigns that will follow will give many the impression of a country deeply divided. And in some ways it certainly is, with robust differences over an awful lot of policies. But in his new book, The Case For America, FOX News Chief Political Anchor and Host of Special Report Bret Baier argues that the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence serves as a reminder of how a group of people with strong political differences unified to found the nation. Bret recently spoke about that on the FOX News Rundown with host Dave Anthony this past week, explaining why he is hopeful about America's future despite the challenging times we currently face. Baier also weighed in on the Iran conflict and how its political fallout could impact the coming midterms. FOX News Bret Baier talks about his new book on the history of the Founding Fathers of the United States.
On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, not much is talked about the First Continental Congress which convened in Carpenter's Hall, Philadelphia, from September 5 to October 26, 1774. They agreed to boycott British goods in both directions, issued a Declaration of Rights and Grievances, and asserted in Section 4 that the foundation of English liberty and free government is the right of the people to participate in their legislative council. This gathering served as a key prelude to the Second Continental Congress and the Declaration of Independence two years later. Also, today marks the 24th anniversary of Mark on the air. Mark celebrates by revisiting some of his most memorable moments — including his gripping live play-by-play coverage of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and the 2016 election. Later, the military and economic operations against the Iranian regime have been spectacularly successful, and President Trump is wisely deciding how to end it while rejecting the left and isolationists who demand a quick withdrawal. This position reflects the Woke Reich who are rooting for America to fail to claim they were right, though they never were. Afterward, Rep Jim Jordan calls in to discuss his legislation for sanctuary cities. Jordan's legislation grants immunity to local law enforcement that cooperates with federal agents, withholds certain federal grants from sanctuary jurisdictions, and creates a private right of action allowing victims harmed by released illegal migrants (after ignored detainers) to sue the responsible entities. Finally, Bret Baier calls in to discuss his new book, The Case for America: An Argument on Behalf of Our Nation – A Thoughtful Defense of Our History, Values, and National Character in Divisive Times. A high-stakes military raid sparks a political firestorm, questions of justice collide with insider trading in Congress, and shocking rhetoric from media elites reveals a deeper shift toward normalizing crime. Meanwhile, the Iran conflict narrative fractures as even critics quietly admit success—while others double down on denial. ⚡ EPISODE SUMMARY Today's episode dives into the explosive aftermath of the Maduro raid and the arrest of a U.S. service member tied to a controversial prediction market bet. Is this justice—or selective enforcement? We break down arguments from Anna Paulina Luna, who calls out the double standard between everyday Americans and members of Congress like Nancy Pelosi, whose stock trading record continues to raise eyebrows. Then we pivot to the global stage: Iran, media narratives, and political spin. Statements from Hakeem Jeffries clash with observable reality, while even critics like Bret Baier question the disconnect. We also examine commentary from Max Boot, Chuck Schumer, and Thomas Friedman—some of whom appear to acknowledge success privately while criticizing publicly. Finally, the episode takes a sharp turn into cultural territory: from alleged corruption involving Ilhan Omar to the rise of “micro-looting” narratives in mainstream media, and the increasingly extreme rhetoric from figures like Hasan Piker. The throughline? A growing divide over law, accountability, and what kind of behavior is being normalized in American society.

Victor Davis Hanson- Week 3: What's Next In Iran?, Why 2026 Could Be the Most Dangerous and Transformational Year Since World War II Victor Davis Hanson- Week 3: What's Next In Iran? If Trump 'sees this through,' Iran will fall 'pretty soon' Why 2026 Could Be the Most Dangerous and Transformational Year Since World War II Victor Davis Hanson- Week 3: What's Next In Iran? By all traditional methodology and criteria, Iran is now inert: naval and air forces eviscerated, missile defenses offline, and an army rendered largely useless, as no one is fighting on the ground. However, tactical success is not necessarily equivalent to strategic victory. It is hard to think of a single battle lost in Iraq or Afghanistan, yet the United States lacked a plan for strategic resolution in either theater. With this in mind, Iran's current strategy is as follows: The mullahs can afford to lose their military because, ultimately, without U.S. troops on the ground, the regime will remain intact. This, and many other factors, begs the question: Where does Trump go from here? asks Victor Davis Hanson on today's edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words.” “In other words, they're saying as long as we have oil, Kharg Island, and as long as we have these huge oil fields, when you get tired of pounding us into rubble, you're going go back to the United States. Israel's going go back and be quiet, and we're going get all of our oil revenues and we're going have them. “And we are going to buy from Russia, North Korea and China missiles, drones, recreate our own drone industry, and we probably have enough fissile material that you didn't get, and nobody could get. It's hidden deep in the mountains, that we will make bombs. And this time we're going to use them because we understand what you will do next time.” Watch this video at- https://youtu.be/Im08lE__mu0?si=UCXId823xoz4sFF2 The Daily Signal and Victor Davis Hanson 559,946 views Mar 23, 2026 Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words
