Why is it that kids who are neurodivergent are so often marketed to by the transgender activists? From Blue's Clues “Pride Parade” to Target's brightly colored gay pride displays, kids are the recipients of this “rainbow capitalism.” Pamela Garfield-Jaeger, a licensed clinical therapist, discusses the transgender activists crusade, how they target neurodivergent kids, and what happened to the therapeutic profession between 2017 and today. Pamela received her Master's in Social Work in 1999 at New York University. She has been licensed in California since 2005. Pamela has experience working in schools in New York City, San Francisco and in Silicon Valley California. She has been a clinical supervisor for over ten years overseeing therapists working in school-based programs and in mental health settings. She has worked in residential and outpatient programs for adults and teens who are severely mentally ill. After losing her job at Sutter Health in 2021 due to Vaccine mandates, Pamela has been building a curriculum to guide parents through the mental health system. Her goal is to provide parents with the information and language so they can be the best advocates for their child's mental health. Pamela's mission is to educate parents on how to avoid therapists who lack skill or try to indoctrinate their children. SVB Bank Crisis Your Next StepsGiven the enormity of the Silicon Valley Bank collapse, I wanted to share a few thoughts, insights and suggestions for your investments and more importantly for your financial plan. Watching the markets on a daily, hourly, and sometimes minute-by-minute basis. That's my job as your Investment Advisor and I am doing my job! Last week was a wild and rocky ride on Wall Street. Banking Crisis drama at Silicon Valley Bank, jobs growth (again!), and a persistently hawkish Fed all fueled the headlines. There was no shortage of fireworks, and major U.S. equity indexes markets fell sharply. In fact, the S&P 500 fell to levels not seen since January.Tallying last week, the S&P 500 declined by 4.55%, the Nasdaq 100 fell by 3.75%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased by 4.44%.What to AvoidWall Street and Silicon Valley California were in full panic mode over this past weekend demanding that the FED and Treasury intervene to pull their chestnuts out of the fire. A few leaders have kept a cool head in this so called banking crisis—but billionaire hedge-fund operator Bill Ackman and venture investor David Sacks (SVB Panic Brokers) had a vested interest in spreading panic. When Alex Badran was doing his PhD, he turned down a guaranteed job in Silicon Valley with some of the world's most innovative tech giants, to do his own thing back home in Oz. Who does that? Well, would-be entrepreneur Alex Badran for one. Sounds crazy, right? But Alex Badran did just that. Alex completed a fellowship in Silicon Valley California that basically involved him helping the likes of Netflix, Facebook, LinkedIn, Airbnb to solve their deep technical problems, meanwhile hanging out with their founders and senior execs scooping up whatever experience and learnings he could – but he turned his back on a guaranteed job over there with one of these global behemoths. Alex Badran always intended to return home to Sydney to realise his startup journey. He and a mate Mario Hasanakos had a dream to build something substantial from scratch. And Alex couldn't let that go, even if it was Facebook calling. The pair founded technology company Spriggy in 2015 in Sydney, a platform they call a financial education tool. In short, it's a pocket-money app for kids, all with parental supervision.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
