Occasionally, we'll record an episode that doesn't get released. (usually a result of recording loss or a dodgy connection, the usual sexy stuff.) But we'll have recorded the intro before we've realised we have to pull the plug on the episode. These intros still exist, unheard in the chill, silent void between recording and release. So this week, as Colin and Cillian were off watching Histrionix live in Smock Alley, they have compiled a collection of untethered intros. We hope you enjoy, follow LWAH on Instagram and consider sharing with a friend! As always, follow Colin and Cillian's 'handlers': Mark Cantan & Luke Benson Thanks for listening! ImprovAbú

Hannah Mamalis is an actress, writer, and comedian. You probably know her from loads of stuff like various Dreamgun sketches, live shows, and podcasts or maybe from her Comedy Brunch which has appeared at Smock Alley and the Body & Soul Festival. You’ll definitely know her soon from her role in the upcoming film The Drummer and The Keeper, her appearances at the Vodafone Comedy Festival, and her one-woman show The Egg Is A Lonely Hunter which is running at the Dublin Fringe Festival from Sep 13-17. That was a very long intro but Hannah’s very busy and we like her. Hannah joined Alan and Ellen to talk about Disney’s Fantasia (1940). which has intersected with her life in all kinds of extremely interesting ways. Trust me, you’ll want to listen to this one. This episode is sponsored by the March For Choice which leaves from the Garden Of Remembrance at 2pm, September 30th. Playwright Peter Dunne joins Alan & Ellen to talk about Jack Clayton’s extremely terrifying 1961 horror film The Innocents starring Deborah Kerr. We talked about all kinds of stuff: watching inappropriate things when you’re young which is basically the theme of Juvenalia, creepy children, Salem, Amityville, local mythology, whether any of us actually believe in the supernatural (spoiler: some of us do), Ouija boards, demonic possession, fear, nature v nurture, and loads more. Peter was great, we loved him. Obviously it would have been nice to get this episode out in time for Halloween but that’s not how we roll here and in fact, late November could be a perfect time to watch The Innocents for the first time. Who knows? Peter’s audio horror walking experience Eerie is in Smock Alley until November 30th so get your skates on and Peter’s extreme immersive horror club Morb could be happening anywhere, maybe even behind you right now. Probably not though, probably somewhere scary. Follow Juvenalia on Twitter Juvenalia original artwork by Dee McDonnell This episode was produced by Alan Bennett and Alan Maguire.
