Im neuesten Sims 4 Addon dreht sich diesmal alles um Abenteuer und dabei sind mehr alltägliche Abenteuer gemeint, welche man beispielsweise auf Ausflügen erleben kann. Auch dreht sich vieles um spielerische Abenteuer, so können wir Schauplätze mit unterschiedlichsten Aktivitäten generieren und auch Ausscheidungsregeln festlegen. Dabei sind wir sehr frei in den Optionen und können einen Zeitplan und Rollen festlegen. Momente in der Kindheit prägen die Sims jetzt fürs Leben und es gibt neue Aktivitäten für Kinder, wie Verstecken spielen oder einen Fantasiebuddy zu haben. Generell wurde der Fokus diesmal stark auf die Kindheit gelegt, was sehr positiv ist. Zusätzlich zur neuen Welt Gibbi Point (mit drei Nachbarschaften) gibt es ein neues Merkmal „wetteifernd“ und zwei neue Bestreben „Tierchenjäger“ und „Coolstes Kind der Stadt“. Insgesamt handelt es sich hier um eine Gameplay-Erweiterung, was ich persönlich sehr bevorzuge, wer aber lieber gestaltet, der könnte hier etwas zu kurz kommen.

Damit gehen Battlefield, Dragon Age und das sonst so queerfreundliche Sims-Franchise bald an zwei Lager, die nicht gerade für Menschenfreundlichkeit bekannt sind. Sims 4 Zauber der Natur sieht auf den ersten Blick einfach magisch aus. Vor allem die neuen Items sehen wirklich wunderschön aus und man fühlt sich wie in einer anderen Welt, etwa in Hobbingen. Jedes Teil sieht einfach magisch aus. Kleidung und Frisuren, sowie Tattoos gibt es auch genug und alles hat einen Hauch von Natur (wie eine Gießkanne als Hut). Außerdem können wir jetzt Feenflügel ausrüsten und da sind wir auch schon beim Gameplay: Man kann sich jetzt mit den Sims in Feen verwandeln und dabei entweder gut oder böse werden. Feen nutzen Emotionskraft als Antrieb, welche sie von andern Sims absaugen können. Als neue Fähigkeit gibt es jetzt Arzneikunde, dabei setzen wir alles daran, Tränke Dies spielt auch mit der neuen Karriere Naturheilkunde einher. Sehr gut gefallen hat mir auch die neue Fähigkeit der natürlichen Lebensweise, welche den Sims je höher das Level ist, ermöglicht mehr und mehr mit der Natur zu leben. Zusätzlich gibt es jetzt Glück und Pech, welches sich jeden Tag ändern kann und Einfluss auf viele alltägliche Aktionen nimmt. Das Ausgleichsmeter zeigt an, wie ausgeglichen mein Sim und quasi mit sich Reinen er ist. Dieses nimmt Einfluss darauf, wie gesund er lebt, ist er unausgeglichen kann er krank werden. Hier wird im Prinzip psychische Gesundheit dargestellt, was mir gut gefallen hat. Abschließend gibt es auch noch sehr viel Geschichte über die Welt zu entdecken und in Form von Fabeln erhalten wir Quests und erfahren etwas über die Welt und seine Bewohner. Insgesamt handelt es sich hier um ein sehr schönes, magisches Addon mit neuer Thematik.

Im neuen Sims-4-Addon dreht sich alles um Hobbys...und Business. Gefühlt gab es diesen Namen als Addon auch schon mal mit „Open for Business“. Hier geht es aber mehr darum, aus den Hobbys dann ein eigenes kleines Geschäftsmodell zu entwickeln. Wir können Tätowierer werden und uns kreativ auf den Körpern anderer ausleben. Damit einhergehen wurde auch die Möglichkeit der Tattoos überarbeitet, wir können diese jetzt frei zeichnen oder auch aus der Galerie herunterladen, es gibt Layer und die Möglichkeit Farbe, Deckkraft und Helligkeit anzupassen. Mit höherem Level schalten wir neue Motive frei. Außerdem können wir zum Beispiel nützliche Gegenstände töpfern, aber auch in anderen Bereichen ein Kleinunternehmen öffnen. Das ganze Business betreiben wir von zuhause und so können wir hier auswählen welchen Bereich wir die Öffentlichkeit zugängig machen, was die Angestellten tun sollen und generell was wir anbieten.

In den ersten Trailern sah InZoi aus wie die nächste Generation von Die Sims - nur eben nicht von EA. Was ist davon im Early Access noch übrig?

Eins von Zoras liebsten Büchern der letzten Jahre (!) ist „Altes Land von Dörte Hansen. Es geht um Vera und Anne, Tante und Nichte. Zwei Einzelkämpferinnen, ihre Geschichten und dem Finden darüber, was sie nie gesucht habe: eine Familie. Deswegen ist es nur logisch, jetzt auch Dörtes (wir sind per du, na klar) neues Buch vorzustellen und mit Kat den Dörte-Hansen-Fanclub zu gründen. Es geht in der Folge aber tatsächlich auch mal wieder um Die Sims 4 und der Ankündigung des neuen Gameplay Packs „Businesses & Hobbies“. Worauf freuen wir uns dabei, welche Befürchtungen haben wir (Bugs!!) und was sollte vorher noch ganz dringend vom EA-Team repariert werden, bevor das neue Pack rauskommt. In diesem Addon dreht sich passend zu Halloween alles um den Tod und auch was danach denn so passieren könnte. Vorbei ist die Zeit, in der wir uns nach dem Entfernen der Pool-Leiter für immer von unserem Sim verabschieden müssen. Dabei sind kostenlose Updates von bezahlbaren Inhalten zu unterscheiden. Kostenlos können alle jetzt Geister spielen und erstellen, außerdem reagieren Sims jetzt unterschiedlich auf den Tod eines anderen Sims. Zum Bezahlinhalt zählen erweiterte Optionen für die Geister wie Fähigkeiten, zwei neue Karrieren als Schnitter oder Bestatter, eine Bucketlist, die Option auf Wiedergeburt, eine neue Nachbarschaft, neue Objekte und vieles mehr. Die Motivation nun noch mehr Ziele mit dem Sim zu erreichen ist besonders durch die Bucketlist groß und auch die vielen Fähigkeiten als Geist bereichern das Spiel. Insgesamt ist auch der typisch simlische Umgang mit dem schweren Thema Tod sehr gut gelungen und dieses Addon zählt als eines der besten.

In der neuen Erweiterung dreht sich alles um die Beziehungen zwischen unseren Sims. Ein großer neuer Punkt sind romantische Präferenzen, die wir bei der Erstellung festlegen können. Das verleiht dem Sim viel mehr Charakter. Von unzähligen neuen romantischen Interaktionsmöglichkeiten über romantische Orte, an denen wir besondere Aktionen wie ein romantisches Dinner ausführen können bis hin zu neuen Objekten und Kleidung ist auch alles vorhanden. Eine neue Karriere als Romatiktherapeut ist ebenfalls erstrebenswert, sowie die Romantik-Fähigkeit. Man hat jetzt auch die Möglichkeit, verschiedene Beziehungsmodelle einzugehen, von locker bis tief. Das trägt meiner Meinung nach sehr viel zum Realismus bei. Ein besonderes Highlight ist die Dating-App Amors Ecke, in der wir auch realistisch Dates aussuchen können und diese dann auf drei unterschiedliche Arten ausführen, als Kennenlern-Date, romantische Verabredung oder eine Wiedergutmachung-Verabredung. Dabei können wir auch Ziele und Belohnungen aktivieren und müssen mindestens drei Aktivitäten auswählen, welche wir vorhaben. Insgesamt fehlt es diesem Addon an einer expliziten Neuerung, aber die unterschwelligen bereichern das Spiel dennoch immens.
