Blake Anderson is a writer, actor and comedian. Along with his frequent collaborators Adam DeVine, Anders Holms, Kyle Newacheck, he co-created the hit comedy series Workaholics, which debuted 10 years ago this month.  It was also recently announced that Paramount Plus is making a new Workaholics movie. Blake also wrote and starred in the Netflix action comedy Game Over Man, stars in the animated adaptation of the cult comic book series The Freak Brothers, serves as a writer and actor in the Adult Swim series TigTone, stars in the Hulu series Woke, and co-hosts the amazing podcast This Is Important. Emmy award winning Chris Prynoski is the president and founder of Titmouse, an animation production company with offices in Los Angeles, New York and Vancouver. His animation career began in New York with his work on MTV shows such as Beavis and Butt-head, Daria and his Emmy nominated creation MTV Downtown. Chris and his wife Shannon then moved to LA to launch Titmouse, a home for passionate artists making high-quality cartoons. Leo Birenberg is a film score composer based out of Santa Monica. He has worked on movies/shows like Kung Fu Panda, Cobra Kai, and Tigtone on adult swim. Leo goes into his upbringing, his projects he’s worked on, and what he has learned from the industry.Leo studied music theory and composition at New York University and University of Southern California. Leo spent a lot of his time creating short films with his friends in college and he started his first film score for his college roommate’s class project. “A lot of success in the composing industry was because of the relationships made in college.”Leo tells about working with Christophe Beck, Canadian composer, and the opportunity to work on major pictures like the Hangover movies, the Muppet movies, and Disney’s Frozen. Episode 10! Chris Prynoski, animation director and co-owner of Titmouse, Inc., the animation studio behind Metalocalypse, Tigtone, The Venture Brothers, Big Mouth, Niko & The Sword of Light, and many more, stops by for a cocktail and brings his own recipe in this very special episode of Daydrinking with Gary & Elliot! This episode's first featured drink by Elliot: Misty's Margarita 1 ½ oz. Milagro Tequila Reposado ½ oz. Cynar ½ oz. fresh-squeezed lime juice ½ oz. fresh-squeezed red grapefruit juice ½ oz. agave syrup 1 dash Dr. Adam Elmegirab’s Spanish Bitters Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until cold. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with a grapefruit twist, first giving it a squeeze to express the grapefruit oils over the top of the drink. (Note: If you don't have Spanish Bitters, you can substitute a dash a Regan’s Orange Bitters, as both make use of citrus peel in their bases.) This episode's second drink by Chris P.: The Hillbilly X-treme! 2oz - cheap well whiskey 8oz - Mountain Dew in a CAN (extra good if you get the old school recipe with sugar instead of corn syrup) 1 squirt - fake lime juice (like the kind that comes in a plastic lime. You could use a real lime, but that would make it classier.) A few ice cubes Some duct tape Open the can of Mountain Dew and pour the contents into a cup or some other container. Saw off the top of the Mountain Dew can or cut it off with scissors. Throw away the top of the can (or recycle it if you can!) Use the duct tape to cover the sharp edge of the can. Go all the way around. You don’t want to get a bleeding lip! Throw a few ice cubes into the can. Pour in the cheap whiskey. Fill up the rest of the can with the Mountain Dew you poured out earlier, add a liberal squirt of lime juice, and give it a quick swirl with your middle finger. Lick off your finger and point it at your favorite authority figure as you slowly sip your drink, staring them directly in the eyes. You have now enjoyed a Hillbilly X-Treme! Aaron here -- after taking a week off my wife, her mother, my baby and I all got hit with the flu, we have returned for Episode 119 of Punch Drunk TV. There's a lot we go over in this episode, including the multiple Fyre Festival docs that hit streaming last week. Before we kick things off, Jack's wife JoEllen poses a question to us and you Clinkers: How would you describe The CW? Because they definitely have their own very specific brand going on. NEWS HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK: The CW has ordered a musical dramedy spinoff of "Riverdale" titled "Katy Keene." The CW also ordered a "Lost Boys" TV series which will no longer be an anthology series but, as THR says, will be "set in Santa Carla and explores the secret underworld of vampires. After the sudden death of their father, two brothers move to Santa Carla with their mother, who hopes to start anew in the town where she grew up. But the brothers find themselves drawn deeper and deeper into the seductive world of Santa Carla's eternally beautiful and youthful undead." "Queer Eye" will go to Tokyo for four episodes in its next season. The special four-episode installment, titled "Queer Eye: We're in Japan!," will premiere on Netflix after Season 3 of the series drops later this year. Netflix is rebooting "Unsolved Mysteries" from the show's original producers. According to THR, "the new series will follow a similar format to its predecessor, which first aired on NBC in the late 1980s. Each of the 12 episodes will focus on a single mystery — the broadcast version had multiple cases per episode — and like the original, will enlist viewers' help in solving each case." Showtime has bought the rights to a four-part docuseries titled, "Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men." The first two episodes will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and then the series will air on the network in the spring. A Fyre Festival-inspired GoFundMe campaign for Bahamian restaurant owner Maryann Rolle has raised more than $100,000 to help her with the debt she went into during the disastrous music event.
