Eight long games but finally, West Ham have won a game (even if it was against a dreadful Man Utd team that probably couldn't be bothered). Will and Alex break down a solid performance on the road, sing the praises of Tomas Soucek (as per) and Jarrod Bowen, discuss Aaron Wan-Bissaka's season and the news that four players are leaving on frees this summer. Jack and Darcy break down West Ham's gutting 3-2 loss away to Brighton in the Premier League after conceding yet more late goals from Kaoru Mitoma and Carlos Baleba. They discuss what on earth is happening in the final minutes of seemingly every match, the impact the half time substitutes made by attempting to create more attacking threat at the expense of control, success from more direct play including goals from Mohammed Kudus and Tomas Soucek, the challenges West Ham will face in the Summer transfer window and much more. Another collapse in the final few stages of a game. West Ham managed to throw away a lead with just minutes on the clock again! Will and James have put their apathy towards the season to one side to talk about the game, Tomas Soucek being brilliant as per usual and ask whether criticism of Graham Potter is fair? Heartbreak in the David Moyes derby as Everton's late equaliser ruined another clean sheet and three points for Graham Potter's West Ham. Will is back and is joined by James as usual to discuss Tomas Soucek's "optical illusion" and where we are heading under the new manager. Are we sold on his ideas, having quickly patched up a leaky or do we need more going forward to be convinced? Jack Elderton and Cal Goodall break down West Ham's 2-0 win over Leicester City, the first time the Hammers have won back to back Premier League games in a year. A Tomas Soucek goal and Jannik Vestergaard own goal separated Graham Potter's side from Ruud van Nistelrooy's. Jack and Cal discuss the balance found in West Ham's new Midfield 3 and the qualities James Ward-Prowse has brought to the side, Aaron Cresswell's re-emergence as an option at Centre-Back, the key difference between Potter and previous Head Coach Julen Lopetegui, as well as appraising the squad now the new Head Coach has been in charge for 2 months, asking whether several key players should be kept, loaned out or sold during the Summer as West Ham look towards another squad rebuild. These include stars Lucas Paquetá and Mohammed Kudus, players currently on loan at the London Stadium Carlos Soler and Evan Ferguson and Nayef Aguerd, who returns to the club in the summer after a successful spell on loan at Real Sociedad. Former West Ham and Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe joins Jamie Carragher and Dave Jones in the MNF studio to reflect on West Ham's 2-1 win over Wolves, a victory that could ease the pressure on Hammers' manager Julen Lopetegui, but increases it on Wolves boss Gary O'Neil. One of the West Ham goal scorers, Tomas Soucek, chats to the panel about the win and also revels how the team called the injured Michail Antonio before the match. Jarrod Bowen scored the other goal for the home side. We also hear from Wolves defender Matt Doherty, as well as Gary O'Neil - who felt his side were unlucky to come away from East London without a point.
West Ham became the latest team to suffer one of the Bees' buzzing starts in the 1-1 draw with Brentford. After Bryan Mbuemo's strike in the first minute, it was Tomas Soucek once again dragging the Hammers out of trouble with a massive goal. Is the Czech midfielder disrespected and under-appreciated by supporters? And is he one of the best the club have had in the Premier League era? The boys also discuss Julen Lopetegui's bold half-time subs in taking Mohammed Kudus off, the toxicity of West Ham chat on social media and where they think the season is heading. Julen Lopetegui has his first win as West Ham manager. New signings caught the eye, Jarrod Bowen got his first goal with the captain's armband on and West Ham got their first clean sheet since January - against a London rival who James has a particular dislike for. Despite the win being the first in a new era for the club, it was one of the old guard in Tomas Soucek that put in a huge performance in midfield and was again on the scoresheet (even rescuing a ball boy for bonus brownie points). Is about time our criminally underrated Czech Mate gets the credit he deserves? And how long does Konstantinos Mavropanos and Michail Antonio remain in the starting XI amid new boys Jean-Clair Todibo and Niclas Fullkrug pushing for starts? Welcome to The Arsenal Therapy Podcast, a dedicated show about the club we love, Arsenal Football Club. Arsenal squandered the opportunity to reclaim the top spot in the Premier League as they suffered a surprising home loss to a formidable West Ham side. David Moyes' team secured a goal in each half, with Tomas Soucek and former Gunner Konstantinos Mavropanos finding the net, propelling them to sixth place, surpassing Manchester United. Despite Mikel Arteta bringing on Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe, their efforts proved futile. West Ham are unbeaten in five games in all competitions, but three of those games relied on last-minute Tomas Soucek winners and the draw with Crystal Palace on Sunday was a hugely winnable game given the Eagles' lack of intensity going forward. So despite going unbeaten, fans are beginning to get more and more restless with David Moyes' approach. That led to James and Will having a very long and intense debate about his future at the club. James understands why fans are getting frustrated and are pushing for a change. Will, on the other hand, believes changing managers risks us dropping back into security and doesn't think we can do any better than Moyes right now. Also this week, we're joined by The Sun's Dean Scoggins, who is a huge Spurs fan and gives the full lowdown on Tottenham ahead of Thursday's trip to north London. We finish off with our Betway Charity Bets for Thursday before some final thoughts. Strap yourself in for this one, it gets heated at times! Let us know what side of the divide you're on. James welcomes West Ham fan Chris Stone and Crystal Palace fan Ruaidhri McLaughlin-Dowd for a London Derby Clash of the Correspondents, but is there actually a rivalry between two clubs who have ambitions to grow on and off the pitch? Jarrod Bowen's fitness will be a hot topic of debate heading into GW14 and there's discussion on solutions for managers in the various scenarios of fit, unfit and unknown. Does Mohammed Kudus or Tomas Soucek fit any of the solutions? While for Palace new injuries for Ebe Eze and (a very serious injury to) Cheick Doucoure have caused alarm ahead of a tough swing in fixtures that follows defeats to Everton and Luton. Should Palace defensive assets be binned? For James that may mean moving Sam Johnstone on, but many other FPL managers will be considering moving Alphonse Areola, but The Hammers have good long-term fixtures to consider... NOTE: Sorry it's a bit late this week, life (and gout) got in the way a bit! Back to normal next week, we promise! Things are looking and feeling a little more enjoyable at the moment, aren't they? We're unbeaten in four, have just one defeat in our last seven in all competitions and have conceded just three goals in our last five. Moyes' semi-permanent switch to a back five appears to have worked a treat as the likes of Tomas Soucek, Vladimir Coufal, Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio all show glimpses of their former selves. Meanwhile, new signing Emerson is fast becoming an important fixture at right wing-back, but injury woes for mega-money signings Nayef Aguerd, Gianluca Scamacca and Lucas Paqueta somewhat dampen the optimism slightly. Regardless, West Ham's form is almost unrecognisable from the one that had us calling for Moyes to be sacked on the podcast just last month. On this week's show, James and Will hail the improvement in form, performances and results, praise the recent performances of some of the season's under-performers and then look ahead to Sunday's trip to Spurs. On top of that, friend of the show and talkSPORT presenter, Paul Coyte, joins us to give us the lowdown on his beloved Tottenham. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and make sure you subscribe!

All good things come to an end, don't they? After two wonderful years under David Moyes, we do appear to be nearing the end of his second spell following two poor performances and defeats directly after the World Cup break. The loss at Arsenal probably wasn't a surprise but the performance at home to Brentford simply wasn't good enough, despite Moyes finally deciding to drop Tomas Soucek and to play Lucas Paqueta in his favoured No.8 position. Now we face Leeds, Wolves and Everton in a trio of league games that might not decide Moyes' fate in east London, but also define West Ham's Premier League status. Just how has it come to this, just months after a Europa League semi-final? James and Will return this week to discuss all of that, as well Moyes' future, on this week's show, while they're also joined by Darren from LS11, who previews our trip to Elland Road, and Sun Sports reporter Giacomo Pisa, who previews our FA Cup 3rd Round trip to Brentford. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and make sure you subscribe!
Is this the beginning of the end for David Moyes at West Ham? We certainly hope not, but after two incredibly fun seasons since his return, we started this season with just one win from seven Premier League games and have only scored three goals. Yes, we're unbeaten in the Europa Conference League but that's not really the issue here. Moyes' stubborn team selections, strange substitutions and reluctance to give most of the summer signings more than 30 minutes a game in the league is beginning to frustrate the fanbase; not least James Jones, who appears to have been broken by this latest defeat. This week, Will is far more positive than James as the conversation covers Tomas Soucek's role in this current team, reasons for dropping Jarrod Bowen, worries about the Gianluca Scamacca signing, questions over the level of summer spending if the new players aren't going to be used and so much more! The lads also discuss the win against Silkeborg in the Europa Conference League and ponder Moyes' future in east London. As always it's a brilliant show, if not a little bit heated this week after what's happened over the last few days! Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and make sure you subscribe!

West Ham United beat Sevilla 2-0 at home to win 2-1 on aggregate to reach the Europa League quarter-finals in one of the most historic iconic nights the London Stadium has seen. Tomas Soucek and Andriy Yarmolenko scored to inflict Europa League giants Sevilla's first defeat by an English team ever in the competition. It was magical and the atmosphere cemented London Stadium's place as our home. What a night. Will Pugh and James Jones wax lyrical about one of the greatest nights in the club's history. They also briefly touch on the defeat at Spurs, which doesn't really matter, and review the Betway charity bets. And then get excited about the QF draw against Lyon - with the boys set to attend both legs. West Ham Women are also through to the FA Cup semi-finals after a 1-0 win at Ipswich and will face Man City at home. All the above and much more on this week's episode. Get it in your ears! It was a weird week for West Ham. After comfortably brushing aside Rapid Vienna in the club's first-ever home Europa League group stage match, David Moyes' side conceded a a 94th-minute goal to newly-promoted Brentford at London Stadium in the Premier League. But despite the negative thoughts that inevitably follow a defeat - especially in those circumstances - we must not lose sight of the fact West Ham are still having a really good season. It was only the Hammers' second defeat in all competitions since the 1-0 home loss to Everton back in May, so there's absolutely no reason to start panicking just yet. West Ham have taken to European football like a duck to water with a 100 per cent record in Group H without conceding a goal. And that's the general consensus on this week's episode as James Jones and Will Pugh - in Reece's absence - discuss the win over Vienna and defeat to Brentford in detail. The lads touch on the Vienna fans and the 'trouble' on Thursday night, Peter Bankes' performance in the middle against Brentford, Tomas Soucek's worrying form, Jarrod Bowen's epic fitness levels and much, much more! Despite it being an international break, there's still so much to discuss on this week's show. The lads also chat about PAI Capital's decision to step back from their attempts to buy the club, Sunday's protests and the lovely new statue of Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters outside the stadium. Last week's Betway charity bet selections are reviewed. And lastly, the lads are joined by The Daily Mail's Kathryn Batte, who gave her thoughts on West Ham Women's outstanding 2-0 away victory over Manchester City in the WSL. It's an epic show and plenty to get through so whack the kettle on and enjoy! Hello to all our new listeners! We've had a few record-breaking weeks on the listener front this season so welcome. West Ham legend Tony Cottee joins the lads for the ENTIRE two hour show as he steps in as the third member of We Are West Ham. The Hammers icon opens up about his departure from Sky Sports after 20 years, answers questions surrounding his involvement with the PAI Capital takeover bid, reveals his concerns over the lack of summer transfers and looks ahead to his old club Leicester's visit to the London Stadium on Monday night. West Ham got their season off to a perfect start with a 4-2 win at St James' Park against Newcastle on Sunday thanks to goals from magic Aaron Cresswell, super Tomas Soucek, silky Said Benrahma and marvellous Michail Antonio. Will Pugh, James Jones and Tony react to the fantastic win as well as analysing any areas they'd like to see improved. The Betway charity bets return and the boys have already had a winner! Ans the lads make their selections for the Foxes game. Having scored 34 goals for Leicester in 100 games between 1997 and 2000, and still working for them now, Tony provides an excellent opposition view and gives a run down of what to expect from Brendan Rodgers' team. And the show wraps up with a Q&A where Tony answers questions on anything and everything from the boys and the We Are West Ham listeners. All of that and so much more. It's an absolute corker of an episode. Thanks so much for listening. Trouble With Tribals by Kevin MacLeodLink: https:/incompetech.filmmusic.iosong6621-trouble-with-tribalsLicense: https://filmmusic.iostandard-license
This is an audio version of our YouTube video. We've picked the 10 best games across Europe this week to preview. Five games on Saturday, five games on Sunday. Let's take a look at what we've got to enjoy. We start with our betting tips for Serbia vs Portugal. The hosts beat Ireland 3-2 last time out, with Aleksandr Mitrovic scoring a superb 35-yard lob. In contrast, Portugal had to settle for a narrow 1-0 win over Azerbaijan, that goal scored through an own goal! Norway put three past Gibraltar in their World Cup Qualifiers opener on Tuesday, but somehow the wonderkid Erling Haaland didn't make the scoresheet. This weekend they play Turkey. The Turks shocked the Netherlands with an impressive 4-2 win, helped by a Burak Yilmaz hat-trick. He's 35 years old for goodness' sake! Frank de Boer's Oranje will be desperate to bounce back following their disappointing start to their campaign, and they couldn't have chosen a better opponent to face than Latvia. The visitors are nowhere near as talented and arrive on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Montenegro. The next game should be a cracker, as Czech Republic host Belgium in Prague. West Ham attacker Tomas Soucek scored a hat-trick in a 6-2 win over Estonia in mid-week, whilst the Red Devils came from behind to beat Wales thanks to goals from Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku and Kevin de Bruyne. Elsewhere, Croatia lost 1-0 to Slovenia and must avoid further heartache when they host minnows Cyprus on Saturday. Into Sunday's action, England head to Albania on the back of their 5-0 thrashing of tiny San Marino. This game may not prove vital for their qualification hopes, with the Three Lions concentrating on next week's clash with Poland. Spain's World Cup campaign didn't get off to the best start by any means, as they drew 1-1 with Greece at home. They'll be keen to bounce back from their Greek tragedy when they head to Georgia. Bulgaria shouldn't cause Italy too many problems. The hosts lost 3-1 to Switzerland earlier in the week – they were three-down within the first 12 minutes – whilst Italy breezed past Northern Ireland. The penultimate game we're previewing sees Kazakhstan take on France. Les Bleus failed to beat Ukraine at home, eventually drawing 1-1 despite Antoine Griezmann's fantastic goal. The Kazakhs are yet to play a WCQ, but their last game was a defeat to Lithuania. The final game of our World Cup Qualifier betting preview sees Germany make their toughest away trip to Bucharest. The Germans beat Iceland in their opener, which was an important result following their 6-0 loss to Spain a couple of weeks prior. This could prove a strong litmus test for their campaign. Eduardo Siles is here to present Odds On. He's joined by Tom Rennie to preview our top 10 games from this week's European World Cup Qualifiers. There's loads of other games but these were our favourite from midweek. City. 10 points clear of Liverpool and 5 points clear of United with a game in hand. Title race? Done out here. In the latest weekend of the prem we saw City put Liverpool to the side and get their first win at Anfield since 2003. 10 straight W's. City are unstoppable right now. Liverpool are the complete opposite. Allison had a horror show and to be really honest Liverpool struggled to trouble City. For Klopp and the gang, it feels as though its the end of a chapter - for this season anyway. Where do they go from here? The mandem Alpha and Ricky talk about the game at Anfield touching on Foden's performance and Gündoğan's hot form. They also get into a mad debate about who the better keeper is out of Alison and Ederson. Foden's world-class performance at Anfield highlights the serious talent coming from England. With the Euros coming up, Southgate has serious talent at his disposal but does he have the capacity to get the best out of this young generation? And in the latest chronicles of VAR, we saw Tomas Soucek and Jan Bednarek receive red cards only for them to get overturned - which also resulted in Mike Dean receiving death threats. That's too far. What the hell are we gonna do with VAR please? All this and more in the latest episode of THEONE2SHOW.
For long stretches, Fulham played well against West Ham, but Ruben (Invisible Man) Cheek failed to capitalize on his great chances. Did West Ham's Tomas Soucek deserve the controversial Red Card handed out in stoppage time by ref Mike Dean for his elbow on Aleksandar Mitrovic? CJ Hawk says no, NBCSN commentators Graeme Le Saux and Arlo White agree with CJ, but host Rebecca Lowe, former superstar goalie Tim Howard, and the other studio guy said it was the right call. Can DJ Benny The Bull break the tie? (1:00). Then City came alive in the 2nd half to defeat Liverpool. Pep won his first game at Anfield. Ilkay scored twice, and Raheem and Phil also helped us beat Liverpool 4-1 (13:00). --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/ben9314/message
Benim Hocam Bielsa'nın 18. bölümüne Fenerbahçe - Galatasaray derbisini konuşarak başlıyoruz. Fenerbahçe'nin değişen alışkanlıkları, Galatasaray'ın doğru oyun planı ve Mostafa Mohamed'in takıma kattıklarına değindikten sonra rotamızı İngiltere'ye çevirip Manchester City'nin Liverpool'u dağıttığı maçtan bahsediyoruz. Phil Foden övgülerinin ardından Tomas Soucek'ten yola çıkarak birçok başka konuya atlıyoruz. Keyifli dinlemeler!
In the last week we have gone from disappointment against Liverpool to elation against Villa! Dave and Ex talk about another performance to be proud of, an incredible debut for Jesse Lingard, their overwhelming love for Coufal, the importance of Tomas Soucek and whether David Moyes was right to not spend money in the transfer window. They also announce the winners of this month`s competition before getting exclusive news from Ex and answering questions from Patrons. In this podcast, we discuss our premier dream 11 for this season. A name we forgot to mention was Tomas Soucek of West Ham.
Said Benrahma's long awaited debut finally arrived and West Ham took full advantage of the Algerian's dazzling performance. His fellow midfielders Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek also starred as more set piece calamity saw Bielsa's Leeds once again dropping points. We discuss how Moyes' formation change was the perfect assist for the talented Hammers duo, why the crackdown on goalkeepers during PKs doesn't always make sense, and how Leeds-despite their great style-will need to start addressing some of their flaws to start roping in the points. Later, we discuss how Manchester United could learn a lot about how to manage players like Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria by following the lead of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Mercedes-Benz Formula One Team. We close the show out by previewing the biggest games on the continent this weekend including a pair of tasty clashes in Ligue Un and the all important Madrid Derby.
