Arsenal first loss of the season at St James' Park was not the a loss without "what-if" element taking over the game. The body count of first team players like Odegaard to the list is a growing worry. Fortunately, Arsenal were mature and ready to battle at this dreadful ground. The positives showed in a number of phases but lack significantly in one that needed to change the outcome at the end of the whistle. I talked about the top players, the possibilities we are faced with at the moment - more so this month. So as the players and coaches turn the page, there is something more that must be addressed; which I spoke about. Listen to my top 3 performers and one slight mention of one player. Now this game is behind us. We all have to remain positive and quickly prepare for the next. Only way is forward. Up the Arsenal! Share and subscribe.

Arsenal visited Newcastle at St James park and got a very significant win. One of the toughest and worrisome grounds for the team. A bit of luck followed the gunners into this game; we managed to endure the physical and mental battle. Not your usual offensive gameplay for Arsenal. But with more experience, precision and grit, there were so many favorable chances for the gunners to score more than shown today. A handful of standout performers helped convert the entire teams' energy and mindfulness in defending. A thoroughly deserved 3 points and confidence to push for the remaining games. Enjoy this byte-size pod and share with your friends! It's a great day!! Arsenal! Arsenal! Arsenal!

Brighton have just beaten Liverpool 2-1 thanks to a stunner from Kaoru Mitoma. Is anyone surprised? Not us. That's the latest in a thrilling round of FA Cup ties, so what better time to take inventory of all that action than right now? We also refresh our memories about GW 21 (recall: Mudryk's Hazard-esque debut, Haaland's "easy" hat-trick, and the return of the glorious United-Arsenal rivalry). For this episode's Dilemma Deliberations, we select the best Man United options are for their upcoming double gameweek; consider how much we should factor in the impending blank Gameweek 25; and analyze City's newly established Starting XI (or so it seems). Finally, we round off the episode with a discussion surrounding sticking the Triple Captaincy on Rashford. (Hint: We think it's a good idea. Jacob thinks he'll go BANG. Then BANG, BANG.) @fplfortress (Instagram) @FplFortress (Twitter)

John, Mick and Brendan explored the most recent instances of match officials being targeted and considered what must happen to eradicate this kind of behaviour. Following an article written in the Sunday Independent by Paul Kimmage about the coverage of certain sports with relation to doping, the lads considered how often and how deeply the issue and theme of doping should arise. Furthermore, the lads lamented the lack of coverage given over to the Republic of Ireland Women's National Team after their midweek defeat of Finland, enjoyed what Wayne Rooney had to say of his Manchester United vs Arsenal memories, and a whole lot more.

In this week's episode, we discuss the conference finals of the MLS playoffs and what to expect from NYCFC and Portland Timbers in the final. We'll also discuss the United - Arsenal game that took place last week. Who's responsible for Arsenal's 1st goal. Martinelli was Arsenal's biggest threat and deserves more playing time. On the other hand, Aubameyang was absent which seems to be a trend in the last few games. Clearly, Auba is going through a rough patch, and perhaps a spell on the bench could be to his benefit. New gaffer Thomas Tuchel has Chelsea firing and we discuss why Callum Hudson-Odoi is CRIMINALLY underrated. We then pivot over to Liverpool talk and whether or not Salah is considered a premier league legend. The lads then recap the Steven Spielberg film that was the Milan-Inter Coppa Italia clash, with talk of who would win a brawl between Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Next up is Bundesliga talk and how Jadon Sancho snatched up the captain's armband in plain sight. Messi's contract leak is then discussed and whether or not he is worth the insane valuation. Your Manchester Is Blue admin team talk all things City from this week. In this episode we discuss: ✨Back on form vs Zagreb ✨A frank United Review ✨Arsenal Preview ✨Latest Gossip ✨LOADS Fan Questions answered!! City Vs Utd City's flaws exposed again Utd look so dangerous when we get he ball and go forward against arguably the best team in the world. Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "Yes we lost but I congratulate my team: my players were fantastic, we are a fantastic team This is Pep Guardiola's worst points return after the first 16 matches of a top-flight season in his managerial career (32 pts). Pep needs to learn from SAF – to rebuld a squd and keeo them focused – there are arguably 6/7 players in our current squad who wont be there next year? Manchester derby racist abuse claim: Man arrested Wednesday 11th December 2019 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - GROUP C · Dinamo Zagreb17:55Man City Rhys Walker (https://www.facebook.com/rhyswalker123) The transfer window needs discussing for me. Personally, I feel as if there are persistent weaknesses with our current starting 11. Fair enough we’ve been done over by injuries this season, but we’re meant to have a good amount depth which I think we’ve been lacking in a few areas. Do we need to buy? If not then what needs to change James Bunkell (https://www.facebook.com/james.bunkell) Is Angelino good enough at this level? Would switching Walker to center back alongside Ferna be a better option than Stones and mean Cancelo (who looks quality every game I’ve seen) gets more games. Derek Trowell (https://www.facebook.com/derek.trowell) Am I the only one who’s annoyed with the reaction of some of our “supporters” who, when we drop points, seem to think the world is falling and claim the team/Pep is “broken”? And a question for the older Blues, have there always been a fair share of complainers? Or is this a bi-product of our recent success? Cheers. Reetesh Giri (https://www.facebook.com/reett.aeexh) As pep said there will no one coming this January , so do you think we can do well with what we've got at the back now? Yeah , laporte's return will be really great but still will the things remain as it is or will it change? And how about Cancelo playing out of position ( left back) ? Keith Alexander (https://www.facebook.com/keith.alexander.7121) If we don’t play Garcia and Foden they will be looking to exit the club, Garcia has been excellent every time he’s played. Moira Fenton (https://www.facebook.com/moira.fenton) Who do you think will go in January - and in the summer. Now work out how many we're going to need to replace externally and who would you like to see coming in :) Graham Stafford (https://www.facebook.com/graham.stafford.10) I think as league can now not be won its time to get youngsters on that pitch. Whatever happens then doesn't matter. They will learn and only make team stronger for experience. If not doing that shut the academy as makes it a pointless thing to have. Unless of course city want to spend millions just so eventually they end up at another top club where then become successful. Andrew Mc (https://www.facebook.com/andrew.mcmillan.94) Is pep overly relying and therefor exhausting and contributing to injury of the first team whilst simultaneously stagnating the fringe and youth players making them less confident and rustier when they do come on? Every other top premier league team has recently shown that you must rotate and blood fringe and youth players. Adam Potts (https://www.facebook.com/adam.potts.100) Do u think we should concentrate on the champions league now we have no chance of winning the league and also academy players should play more than just pre-season, against the easy teams like in the efl Thomas Knight (https://www.facebook.com/thomas.knight.1213986) Then leagues as good as gone ... do we want Leicester to beat us (next home game) as they are at home to L’pool on Boxing Day and if they win both games they get closer to stopping them win the league ... interesting thought!!!! Q'wayne Heath (https://www.facebook.com/joseph.htaeh.5) How would you grade rodri performance from season started ? Do we need a centre back ? Can we push for second place when key players return ? Who has been the stand out player in the team this season ? Do you think we need a rebuild ? -- Jørgen Jensen (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100008217187695) Should we sign another CB in January? If so, who? Joy Dutta (https://www.facebook.com/JAY.07SID) Could we buy Shelvey and Soyuncu to build a wall to our defence? Could we buy Erling Haaland and Bale to bring in pace to the game? Why our set pieces like corners so wasteful? Aren’t both silva’s underperforming and need replacement? Nafis Yunus Khan (https://www.facebook.com/nafisyunus.khan) Can we do a Real Madrid and end up winning the champions league by being shit in the league?? Isaac Skidmore (https://www.facebook.com/isaac.skidmore) Is it time too possibly considering moving Sergio on and selling Jesus too bring in the likes of Kane John Drinkwater (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001620024212) Play Foden and give Garcia some games with Fernandinho and Rodri playing as holding midfielders. Owen Fish (https://www.facebook.com/owen.fish.3994) Walker needs to go centre back cancelo right back Fernandinho back in midfield if needed with rodri. Drop D Silva looks tired, play foden. Then sign massively in the summer to reinvest in the team. Looks like a few players will be leaving us this summer. Dave Shepherd (https://www.facebook.com/dave.shepherd.96995) Hi last week after Burnley , without mentioning other defence players I asked your views on why Otamendi had played so well. Could it have been because of who he was paired with it worked well. Now to cut to it , Otomendi out Stones in , terrible. ? Isn’t it time Stones who appears to have lost skill and confidence should be rested for a while, he signals all his moves and makes me nervous on the ball.Great show btw John Lunty Lunt (https://www.facebook.com/john.lunt) Foden and Garcia need to start. Can’t be any worse. Looked more than good enough and composed when they’ve played. And if foden is “ the best player he’s ever seen “ then play the lad
