Karen Birdsall’s life is in a constant state of evolving, which she loves. She has learned much in her 60 years on this earth, one of which is becoming an essential oils educator and another is becoming an intuitive bodyworker. Karen remembers well the day her father had some trout flown in and planted into the creek behind their house. She thought he had lost his mind! Just after the trout were planted, she heard him yell for everyone to come out and rub the tummies of these trout. They all came running even though they had no idea what he was talking about. To their surprise and amazement, there were hundreds of trout and so many were "belly up". In order to save their lives, the family had to jump into the creek and rub their tummies. This balanced their equilibrium that was affected by their long journey in a helicopter. Soon, as they became balanced, they swam off to enjoy their new home. Karen will never forget what she learned that day. Balance. She learned that even fish need balance when their environment changes. Balance creates harmony and gifts us the ability to enjoy swimming down our own river of life. Who knew that her first massage clients were fish and that becoming an educator was because of her intuitive father teaching her how to save the life of a fish?
