Dear Soul Family,Venus is at Cazimi, or exactly aligned with the Sun today, October 22, 2022 at 4:57 pm Central.  This is a time of great magic and potentcy in ancient western astrology.  I see this as a 3 day window of ceremony though today certainly is the high point!This is the very heart of the 584 ½ day Venus in Capricorn Cycle we began in January of this year that will complete in August.  This Venus Sun exterior/superior conjunction occurs at the Karmic degree of 29 Libra and activates a peacemaking frequency we haven't felt or seen since 1876. My feeling is that this Venus in Capricorn Underworld Portal from about September 19 to December 2 is in fact the very heart of the larger Age Change we're in the midst of.  What could be a greater healing medicine to support us in “composting" Capricorn Patriarchy than the most fully mature expression of Libra?When considering how we might restore a sacred culture here in the Americas and across the Globe during this “Capricorn Crucible” period, I often turn to the stories of the Haudenosaunee or Iroquois whose brilliant governing systems greatly influenced the more enlightened elements of the U.S. Constitution. When I think of this great meeting of the Sun and Venus in Libra within the context of the Capricorn Venus Cycle I think of Jighonsasee, or the “Mother of Nations” who joined forces with the Great Peacemaker and Hiawatha to bring peace to the five warring tribes along the eastern portion the U.S. and establish a Great Law of Peace. Even in the midst of the darkest days prior to the Great Law of Peace she held a space inclusive of all.  In her lodge, men from all five tribes would come together in peace.  It was through the work she had already been doing to mend the wounds of generations of violence that the Peacemaker could accomplish his mission of a harmonious society. I go into greater depth about this Venus Cazimi moment in my podcast.  listen in here!

Happy Super Full Moon in Capricorn Soul Family!What a powerful Full Moon we have tonight.  Close to the Earth its ability to stir deepest emotions is amplified.  In Capricorn opposite the Cancer Sun and with Pluto what's been in the deep has been surfacing.This Full Moon is Guru Purnima within the Hindu traditions, a day of great celebration and acknowledgment of all great spiritual teachers in their living tradition.  All across the globe tonight people are in prayer and festivities, bringing more light into our world. We are powerful beings living in an incredible moment on Earth.  Some say nearly all souls ever incarnated on the Earth are alive and present at this time.  We are truly living through the paradox.  We are ever more rapidly destroying the Earth herself with our extractive culture and current consciousness. And yet simultaneous to this a new human culture of reverence, sacred remembrance, reciprocity, beauty, Earth care, sky-knowledge, plant healing, rites of passage for all genders and stages, healing modalities weaving modern medicine with ancient wisdom… Though we may be in the very heart of the darkest moment of our chrysallis stage as a species, never forget to look long and with love and attention at what of beauty, truth, and presence is flowering within us, between us and all around us   We are waking up and we are all needed now, as never before.In this Podcast I explore more intimately and personally what my own experiences of “Sacred Culture” have been, as that is a theme for my opening presentation for the Turtle Island Reborn Convergence you can access at www.astrologyforearthrenewal.comMy feeling is that many human beings have a great longing for community weaving where we can experience art, beauty, sacred movement, celebration, ceremony, a feeling of cohesiveness, and a connection with the living Earth. Where have you experienced a sacred context for community gathering that felt true, safe, authentic and soul quenching? Dear Soul Family, Between the Gemini New Moon (exact this morning at 6:30 am Central), Mars conjunct Jupiter in Aries (exact yesterday), and Venus' move into Taurus this past week, we're in a collective exhale with greater brightness, lightness and pleasure again, as I mentioned last podcast--the “Big Beautiful Breakthroughs" are incoming.The eclipse season and Mercury Retrograde, on the tail end of all the Pisces activations had us in a space where all kinds of timelines were surfacing and weaving.  All the intensity of feeling where we have been entangled in ancestry and this life connections to open and fall away like a big knot as we cultivate patience to gently loosen. This Gemini New Moon sets the tone for the month and ampifies two core themes for 2022--Sacred Union and Earth Opulence.  Earth Opulence because of North Node and Uranus in Taurus and Venus in a Capricorn Cycle.Sacred Union because we've had Venus and Mars visibly close in the morning sky for much of the first half of the year and because of some major features now where we have Venus in Taurus (its resonant yin or feminine sign) and Mars in Aries (its resonant yang or masculine sign) at the same time. This morning's Gemini New Moon was with Aldebaran (and the Sun remains with the star today).  This star marks the eye of the Bull, is one of the four Royal Stars of prophecy each marking one of the four cardinal directions and associated with an Archangel--in this case Michael.When the Sun (and in this case also Moon) is with Alebaran it opens a portal to ancestral memory from the Age of Taurus, specifically the period 5,000 years ago when the Sun at the Spring Equinox was with Aldebaran.  When we look at the symbol for the head of the Bull in the sky where Aldebaran is placed, we see horns creating the shape of the uterus--embodying the paradox of the primal masculine force of the bull as a symbol for the feminine womb.  in service to the peaceful, gylanic (balanced between masculine and feminine) cultures at this time for example the Minoan cultures of ancient Crete.We feel and see this beautiful Sacred Union as well in the conjunction of Mars in its resonant sign of Aries with Jupiter (primal yang or masculine essence) at the same time Venus has moved into the feminine, earthy yin sign of Taurus.Venus's movement into Taurus extending Taurus/Beltane season so we are in a continued phase of remembering our core connection to the fertile and life-giving lands and opportunities to continue the most primary practices of co-regulating with the Earth's rhythms and finding the deep pleasure and source energy there. The Mars Jupiter conjunction in Aries last night, as well as the fact that Venus is currently moving through the Solar Plexus Gate says this--Know Who You Are.  Know what you stand for, what your particular place is in any given moment of time.  Honor what is yours to stand in--your fierce and holy yes to life. Mercury stations direct on Friday, June 3 and Saturn stations retrograde on Saturday, June 4.  Mercury direct adds to the forward momentum of Aries while Saturn retrograde helps us stablize, slow down, and feel held in the container where true magic can happen. Learn more about this New Moon and upcoming month by listening to my Podcast Below

Dear Soul Family,Check out tonight's Blood Flower Moon (Total Lunar Eclipse) in Scorpio beginning in its partial phase at 9:28 pm central and ending at 1:00 am. The peak is at 11:11 pm.  All Lunar Eclipses operate as Super Full Moons and time accelerators helping us face and heal the shadow and as this one is in Scorpio with the South Node featuring Venus with Chiron.  We've been feeling this one coming from a mile away, haven't we?  Oof!! If you're anything like me you might feel like crawling out of your skin.  This is just the time my dear friend Intuitive Julie Brown would say something like “you're feeling these difficult emotions right now because you are clearing them.”  Be gentle with yourself."I always feel something in me unlock when she says this, a part that's been fightning, struggling, locked up tight and in deep contraction.  To recognize there is a process at work that is ultimately working toward my wholeness and peacefulness and inner congruence is a great relief.  And when I feel that relief suddenly my heart opens. And ultimately that is the benefit of shadow work.  Our hearts open to meet ourselves, others and our lives with more softness, more presence, more grace. So if you've been feeling exhausted, heavy, low on energy and just wanting to nap all day it's no wonder.  If you've felt out of sorts, cranky or like there's a pressure cooker living inside your guts you're not alone.  Know you are in a process of being “cooked” from the inside out with all of the pressure and intensity helping you become more of a well seasoned and delicious human.I love the work of psychological activist David Bedrick and recently came upon his wonderful description of Shadow Work as follows: "A person tells me they're too judgmental. I hear a person ready to become more discerning, to have clear opinions, or who feels inferior and needs to be lifted up.A person tells me they're a procrastinator.I hear a person who is trying to do something that is somehow not right for them. Or a person who is ruled by an unfriendly type of discipline, an inner criticism, whose self-love won't let them proceed under that inner tyranny.A person tells me "I STILL haven't resolved my trauma, attachment issues, dependencies."I hear a person needing to be closer to their humanity and the humanity of others. Or a person who needs a more forgiving attitude towards themselves. (Perhaps that even helps the road to their healing become more pure and clear.)A person tells me they need to learn to trust. I hear a person who is not quite at home in being closed, having boundaries, or simply needs to listen more closely to their own counsel and heart.A person tells me that they can't RELEASE their anger. I hear a person who has an unfriendly relationship with a kind of power that rises up in them.  A person needing support to not only deeply feel their anger but to embody it, express it and enjoy the way it feels. (by the way, that smooths out anger, making it more able to do its job and not unwisely injure).When I hear the voice of the divine singing in my ear, it says, "Listen carefully to the complaints people make about themselves. When they are mixed with comparison, critical self-evaluation, even self-hatred, slow down and bring some grace and love to what they malign, marginalize and push away. Don't support the creation of more shadow. Help them come home to themselves - the magnificent self they already are.

Happy Taurus Solar Eclipse!  We've entered the two-week Eclipse Cauldron with the Taurus Solar Eclipse (Super New Moon) exact today at 3:28 pm central on the heels of Pluto Retrograde, with Venus meeting Jupiter today in late Pisces, in the Beltane Cross Quarter Window of High Magic.  Exact Solar Beltane is Thursday, May 5.May features astrology that will blow your mind with three planets retrograde (Pluto, Mercury, then Saturn) a major Eclipse Window opening with the Solar Eclipse today and closing with a Total Lunar Blood Moon Eclipse May 15/16, a shift from the Morning Sky stellium of Pisces (Jupiter, Venus and Mars) into Aries--with Jupiter entering the sign for the first time in 12 years.Today's Eclipse with Uranus and Venus at the Heart Chakra is conjunct Jupiter in Pisces.   We're at the tail end of this big Pisces portal where prayer and the dreamtime have been our keys to making it through.Keep it simple today, tend to your body and daily rhythms.  Less words, more presence.  Listen to the intelligence of your body.  Feel where the Earth and you are wanting to connect and go there.  Create spaces to release whatever grief, sorrow of loss you have been feeling in this Pisces Portal. The energies of today are potentially ecstatic and revolutionary.  Energy wants to be moved through, old stuck blockage wants to be cleared.  Let the mind rest, it cannot help you today.  The body, the heart, and the soul want to be fully expressed today, to be in charge.  Trust the wisdom of your body, and this Earth body.Venus at the Heart Chakra Gate This MonthOn Wednesday, April 27 the Moon activated the Venus Chakra Gate, and this theme is felt for the entire month.   I keep getting this little love note when I drink yogi tea saying “Uncage Your Heart, Let it Be Wild.”  You may feel there is an “old me” and “new me” wanting to emerge, and experienced a confusing shuttering between the two.  Over the past months and weeks this back and forth might make you and those you love a bit crazy.  However,  our “new” and “old” selves are actually closer in frequency now and there is a mysterious blending, an integration happening. It can be gentle. We can shift from what might has felt like violence, or turbulence within ourselves into a field of greater peace and coherence.  That is what heart medicine offers to us.  It is the healing balm bringing an underlying state of wellness and wholeness and ease to this otherwise quite dynamic month. This back and forth is happening in our most intimate relationships as well, where a third possibility for a “new relationship” is being birthed as we move back and forth between old patterns that may appear at times quite toxic yet can actually ease up and be loosened more now. I would go so far as to say this dynamic is also happening between each of us personally and our relationship with the Earth, and our species as a whole and its relationship to our home planet.  You might feel the deep tangles in our relationships with beloveds and family members and some very deep places of pain, shame and embarassment--the shadow has been rising to the surface with Pluto retrograde. We have been in a place of surrender with all the Pisces medicine and prayer has been our most powerful medicine.  Ask what is not for the highest and greatest of all involved to be dissolved and cleared fully and completely. Pisces to Aries Shift in MayOver the course of the month there is a shift of Venus, Jupiter and Mars from Pisces to Aries.  Jupiter moves into Aries for the first time in 12 years on May 10.  Even with all the retrogrades and Eclipse energies it is possible find a strong yes or no in our bodies and make choices serving our full expression and con

Happy Pink Libra Full Moon, Ostara, Easter, Passover, still Ramadan, almost Earth Day!Today's Full Moon is ALMOST a sidenote when you consider all the surrounding astrology. The Libra Pink Full Moon with Priestess Star Spica was exact today at 1:55 pm square Pluto.  Spica, long associated with the Divine Feminine,  has connections specifically with the Goddess Brigid, as shared recently by Daniel Giamario, originator of the Shamanic Astrology Paradigm,  from a time when the Full Moon closest to Spica was visible near Imbolc, Brigid's holiday.The Pluto effect is amplified as the Sun Square Pluto transit can be felt through the coming week AND Pluto stations retrograde next week, so it is close to the earth and felt palpably. We're definitely feeling the Underworld energetics of needing to face the shadow, lean into what frightens or otherwise provokes strong feeling in us, and from this direct confrontation gain the gifts of wholeness, strength, and coherence. Jupiter and Neptune in Pisces with Venus and MarsStill in the window of the Jupiter Neptune conjunction last Tuesday with Mars joining the duo and Venus in Pisces Thursday (mega Pisces energy on the personal and collective levels).  The Jupiter Neptune conjunction was a once in 150 year event and will continue to be active over the coming weeks with Venus activating them at the end of the month.We all love the Piscean gifts of bliss, unity consciousness, compassion, healing and unconditional love.  Yet this great Piscean activation has stirred the shadows of Pisces as well. Consider Pisces is always the END of a long, long cycle and before we surrender into an ocean of oneness, we may feel feel the weight of the world--the most unbearable grief, sorrow and heartsickness.If this has been you, overtaken by soul weariness in this past week even as astrologers everywhere were proclaiming the blessings and gifts of the transit, know you were not alone.  Pisces, like every sign, encompasses the full spectrum, the full range of extremes from deepest grief to most profound ecstatic bliss.It can be helpful to remember we are tiny, and the Ocean of life is vast.  To let ourselves experience the gift of our smallness, even as we claim our own role, our own place as dreamers of the worlds within our sphere of influence.And this is also the moment poised on the edge of rebirth and like Jupiter's back and forth movement between Aries and Pisces the promise is for the sun to burst out of the clouds, and a new beginning to be felt personally and collectively.Venus moving from Throat to Heart Chakra GateVenus continues moving through the Throat Chakra Gate until April 26.  Until that time we all benefit greatly from the practice of “speaking even if our voice shakes,” in fact I would say, ESPECIALLY then.  Are we willing to tell the truth about what we know, feel and experience? Even if it is unpopular? Even if we might be understood? Dear Soul Family,In this moment as Venus and Mars and Pluto are blessed with the medicine of Vesta, the we see and energize the power and potency of the Slavic Goddess Behynia, protectress of house and home in Kyiv, Ukraine, where she was erected in 1993 commemorating the countries independence.We align ourselves with a timeline where peace prevails, where a new story emerges, a new dream to replace the old.  We understand the dictum "as within, so without" is a literal reality, and so we extend the Great Heart of the Mother to ourselves as we see where we have been exhausting ourselves with violence and battle within.  We stand strong in the wisdom of our hearts, we become the "adult in the room" guarding the vulnerable layers within our field and the world about us, creating a space for healing for the wounded child within and without, yet no longer allowing this wounded self to take charge of our inner and outer realities.This Pisces New Moon with Jupiter opens the Heart of the Great Mother within our global community strengthening us with the power of divine love and grace pouring in from all dimensions reminding us what is ultimately true.  Saturn and Mercury are joined in Aquarius near Juno and our minds are fortified so we are able to think clearly about what truly matters.Even as we cultivate the practice of standing together as a community of Great Love, we focus our minds productively on our day to day tasks, becoming the capable, trustworthy, visionary stewards of the creative seeds we are nourishing and bringing alive into the New Earth Garden we are tending and guarding daily.  So many blessings to each and every one of you.  Dear Ones,The Aquarius New Moon is exact at 11:46 pm tonight (Monday) central and features an extraordinary gathering of Goddess Asteroids including Vesta (conjunct Venus) Juno (still close to Pluto in the very last degree of Capricorn), Hygeia (opposite Uranus) and Ceres (conjunct the North Node). All this adds to the already prominent feminine rising energies of Venus very close to the Earth, gorgeous shining in the Morning Sky having just stationed direct last Saturday near the Crescent Moon at the first gate in her descent to the Underworld.  This is the time in the Inanna stories where she sacrifices her crown to enter the first gate to the Underworld.This coming month we surrender ALL the ways we have outsourced our spiritual authority.  It is a spiritual battleground out there right now--essential to remember our sovereignty and that our spirits and our lives are our own.  Each being has a right to shine our light, to claim and express the truth as we know and experience it. We've just emerged from the 40-day period of profound inner work during the Venus Retrograde period and by the time Mercury stations direct Thursday/Friday depending on your time zone,  we will be moving into more of a mode of active creation.  If you still feel slow, that is absolutely perfect as well. It's essential to understand that this 1 1/2 year Venus in Capricorn Cycle--with special intensity during the retrograde and while she remains in Capricorn until March 6--is a time where we see and feel strongly the contractions around Capricorn shadow issues like attempts to control everything, feeling victimized by timetables, a relentless inner critic, the comparison game, etc... Just know that if you've had massive contractions in these areas you are not alone and it is ultimately to help you LIGHTEN your load and drop into the ancient/emergent true nature of Capricorn which is earthy, wise, patient, and knows how to create in the perfect timing without a false sense of urgency. True Capricorn is sourced in sovereignty, self love, dignity and an astonishingly radiant and unshakeable love of this Earth and ALL her people, both human and more than human.   I share much more in my podcast, which ALSO includes a spontaneous guided meditation so careful if you are driving!  

 Happy Cancer Wolf Full Moon Dear Ones,We are in another grand portal of magic, miracles and full feeling with this Cancer Full Moon (exact tonight, Monday January 17 at 5:50 pm central) opposite Pluto, in the Venus Retrograde and Mercury Retrograde period, with Uranus stationing direct tomorrow and the Lunar Nodes shifting from Gemini/Sagittarius to Taurus/Scorpio--something that only happens every 18.6 years!This is a period where the yin approach of creating greater space for stillness, time in nature, meditation, journaling, self reflection, daydreaming, nurturance of self and other will yield the greatest benefits over time.  As will simple messing around just for the fun of it with no agenda except to try new things that make you smile!As a dear friend of mine, intuitive Julie Brown remarked so wisely in a chat last week, the new year doesn't REALLY begin until the Chinese New Year in early February (which of course is also the Imbolc/Candemas Cross Quarter). I hope you have had some time to slow down, to refresh and reflect, to nourish your body, your soul, your psyche and your heart.  If you have not yet, please consider doing so. It will benefit you so greatly in your ability to truly offer yourself over this coming year.  It may seem paradoxical but in the midst of this larger period of continued reflection and integration of 2021 and visioning into 2022 and beyond, we also have Venus rising as Morning Star now so it IS important to INITIATE.  I see it as planting the first seeds of our visions, beginning to set in motion the larger plans we won't fully launch until February or beyond. We are invited to move ever more fully into trust and flow, allowing Spirit to inform us of next steps as they arise, taking steady actions yet simultaneously continuing the undercurrent of deep self care, listening, reflection and building our energy for the months to come. Missing the Last Podcast and Celebrating Accomplishments!It was delicious, and a bit of a stretch!--to take a pause from the podcast and bi-monthly emails for the Capricorn New Moon, as I was in need of deep integration. This was the first break I have taken from the podcast since I began in April of 2020--since that time I have published 50 podcasts and received 16,600 downloads!  Woo HOO! Celebrating that and feeling so much gratitude for all of you out there for listening and sharing!! I am so grateful to you!I also realized I have been publishing a regular newsletter now always at least twice a month *(initially weekly!), since 2008--that is 14 years this year!  I feel proud and happy to have been able to offer this to you for all these years and grateful beyond measure for the privilege and honor. I am in a phase of much internal and external change where I am listening ever more deeply to the call of Spirit.  What I know for sure is more collaborations, new offerings as Spirit calls, and more on the ground weaving of Earth community here in Missouri and in travel across Turtle Island.Stay tuned and I share much more in my Podcast here!

Happy Winter Solstice and Gemini/Cancer Full Moon!This next two weeks taking us into 2022 is extraordinary beyond measure as it features the Winter Solstice (exact Tuesday), Venus entering a 40-day retrograde period and transition from the Gemini to Capricorn cycle, the final Saturn Square Uranus activation, Chiron stationing direct today (square Mercury today, trine Mars and square the Sun over the coming week) and Jupiter moving into Pisces. The Total Solar Eclipse only visible in the Antarctic Peninsula and the southernmost tip of South America and Australia is at totality at 1:33 am Central Saturday morning, December 4.  The partial eclipse opens at 1:00 am and completes at 2:06 am with the full eclipse lasting nearly an hour and totality lasting nearly two minutes. The next Total Solar Eclipse will be in 18 months. This  Sagittarius Eclipse activates Antares, the Royal Star of the Scorpion  Constellation and Mercury is aligned with the Great Attractor so the potency of our thoughts and words is increased and we can  connect to our own Royal Heart--more in my podcast.Venus at Greatest BrilliancyAs if the Eclipse weren't enough, tonight,  December 3 Venus is at her greatest brilliancy.--brightest to us--in the Evening Sky TONIGHT.  She will of course remain very bright through the coming week as she begins her descent to the horizon over the coming month. Also look for her Sunday night December 6 with the crescent moon "on her throne" as the gorgeous Love Goddess she is in her brightest Evening Star apparition.Venus is the Earth's Twin or Mirror being the same size as Earth, same composition, and spinning in the opposite direction.   There are many riddles inherent in her nature and cycles but one we have been experiencing and most powerfully today is the fact that when she is in her crescent phase (yes, planets also have phases like the Moon), she appears brightest to us. She is completing her Gemini Evening Star Phase which began in May this year.  Over that period of time she has met the Moon 7 times and in the tales of the Great Goddess Inanna this means she has reclaimed her Seven Great Powers including her Crown of Sovereignty and now sits on her throne fully exalted.The Sumerian priestess and scholar Enheduanna devoted her life to writing praise poems to Inanna/Venus.  Take note that Inanna was a Goddess of War as well as of Love.For this reason and because there were distortions in the cultures she emerges from such as systems of power over and glorification of war, I have taken the liberty of changing the words in the final stanzas to honor her new evolving and perhaps ancient nature as one who empowers EACH of us regardless of social status or rank, to claim our FULL ROYALTY and shine our light, stand for Peacemaking and contribute to the healing of the whole. If you speak these words aloud in addressing the Great Love Goddess in the Sky, the Great Queen who has regained her throne, realize she lives IN YOU whether you are in a male body, a female body, or a body defying labels.Lady of all divine powers,Lady of the all-resplendent light,Righteous Lady clothed in heavenly radiance,Beloved Lady of the Sky God and the Earth MotherMistress of heaven with the holy jeweled crownWho loves the beautiful headdress befitting the office of her high priestess,Powerful Mistress who has seized all seven divine powers,My lady, you are the guardian of the seven divine powers!You have seized the divine powers,You hold the divine powers in your hand,You have gathered up the divine powers,You have clasped the divine powers to your breast!Like a dragon you have cast your bright light upon all the landsWhen you claim your right to embody and shine on the Earth at this time, all will feel the power of your divine love emanating from within themselves.Your love so fiery and yet so sweet, offering sacred waters to heal all the dry scorched lands.O Mighty Lady of Earth and Sky you will help them to remember and Goddess of Love, the Goddess of personal Sovereignty, the Feminine Divine Rising to Bring our World Back into Balance.MORE in my PODCAST here!

Friday, November 19 features the longest partial Lunar Eclipse in 580 years and the longest of this century at six hours total with its peak lasting 3 hours, 28 minutes.  At 97.4 percent, it is as good as a Total Lunar eclipse in effect and visuals. I see this Lunar Eclipse at 27 Taurus as THE big event of 2021 because of its extraordinary length of duration as well as its activation of the Pleiades and the North Node.  A Lunar Eclipse helps us leap timelines and accelerate our deepest desires and intentions as the Moon accomplishes in a few hours--all the phases from Full to New and back to Full--what would normally take nearly 30 days. The North Node supports positive forward momentum and the Pleiades are known to many indigenous people's as their original home star system.  The Pleiadians have been the source of some of the most illunimating channeled spiritual insight over the past century and are seen as strong guardians and advocates for humanity's evolution of consciousness and the wellbeing of planet Earth.Yet this Lunar Eclipse is not only a Moon of light and heart... any Lunar Eclipse by its nature will bring up light AND shadow as can be seen as we observe the reveal and illumination dance of the Earth's shadow upon the Moon's face.  This Eclipse also activates Algol, a fixed star of ill repute in ancient Europe, often called the "demon star" because of its location in the third eye of the head of Medusa as well as its strange twinkling pattern as an eclipsed binary star which, about every 68 hours blinks on and off for eight hours. I personally love this star and believe it points to the reality that we must become opened to the tenderness, the poignancy, the loss and pain of life if we are to become vessels as well for joy, delight, and pleasure.  So in this eclipse we find both medicines--much as the great Dream Healer Aesclepeus used the blood from Medusa's head to both heal and to take life.I speak much more in depth of this in my podcast here.  The three-day period surrounding the eclipse is a time of high magic and alchemy where the more space we can create for our dreams, visions, and practices of stillness and deep listening, the better.  Thursday evening and Friday morning especialy we benefit greatly when we take time and create the sacred context to hear our higher guidance. I have seen this as the Eclipse of Great Bounty and Sensual Delight as it lasts so long in the sign of Taurus.  In this Samhain season in the north where the wheel turns from fall to winter, the Full Moon in late Taurus reminds us of the abundance and sensual season of Beltane, moving from Spring to Summer.  Take time to savor the pleasure of life in this eclipse window and let your turning inward be toward gratitude and recieving of the pleasures of being fully alive.

Happy Scorpio New Moon Beautiful Soul Family!The Scorpio New Moon exact at 4:15 pm Central today is opposite Uranus.   It is approaching Zubenelgenubi and Zuben Elschemali in the Scales Constellation where the Sun will be Saturday sunset through Sunday (Nov 6-7) sunrise marking the exact Samhain Cross Quarter. When we choose to be fully present in the moment to our breath, to the Earth, to the pleasure of being in the body and fully feeling--including all of it, leaning into the places of sweetness, anxiety,  fear, vulnerability,  we become lit up from the inside and deliciously available to the fullness of life. The Scales constellation is associated with Ma'at, the great Egyptian Goddess of Truth, Justice and Wisdom.  Ma'at also represented the concept of Order from Chaos or the ideal state of harmony humans can achieve when working in alignment with the powers of Creation.  In the Hall of Judgment in the Afterlife Anubis, the Jackal-headed Underworld God, would measure the hearts of the deceased in one scale and the "Feather of Ma'at," an Ostrich Plume, to determine the destination of the individual.If the heart was equal or lesser in weight than the heart, the individual would proceed toward the "Duat" or Paradise but if it were heavier it would be devoured by a massive chimera Demon God, Ammit, comprised of the three great man-eating animals--Crocodile, Lion, and Hippopotamus, and the person's soul would be restless forever in the Underworld. We live once again in a time of Great Imbalance where we are wise to call in the Goddesses or primal forces that restore balance--including Sekhmet, Durga, and Ma'at.  The current richness of resource and practice arising now to help us heal and release personal and ancestral trauma--an energetic "lightening" of the individual heart as well as the heart of the modern human species as a whole, feels like such an integral part of this Great Balancing time we are in.  Happy Aries Full Blood Moon Beloved Soul Family!We bloom in darkness these coming two weeks, descending into the Death, Magic and Ancestral Healing Portals of the Pluto/Scorpio realms and Samhain Cross Quarter.This morning the Aries Blood Full Moon is exact at 9:57 am central squaring Pluto (Sun Mars and Mercury also square Pluto this week), initiator of the Death Mysteries.  Over the coming week Sun, Mars and Mercury move into Scorpio--and we open to the primal aliveness and potent magic of the Scorpio Season.  From October 31 to November 7 we are in the Cross Quarter Threshold of Samhain, Day of the Dead and All Saints Day--where the veils thin between ourselves and our beloved Dead awakening our Ancestral Line.Mars remains in the Underworld--the beams of the Sun--until around November 23 where he rises as Morning Star in Scorpio, Warrior Initiate who has died to his old pattern of loving death and war more than life,  coming into his full power as Peacemaker and Guardian of Mother Earth.Mercury and Jupiter both stationed direct last Sunday/Monday and we now have 6 planets moving direct--surrender to the flow of where life wants to take you. We look our monsters directly in the eye. We wrestle with our Beloved Angel of Death, surrender to his embrace and find our lust for life. It's all about the squares in the coming week with Sun, Mars and Mercury square Pluto this week and next week Venus square Neptune and Sun square Saturn. Squares compel us to learn through discomfort, edges, tension and finally release. What feels like a crisis is an opportunity to break free from stagnancy and change in big and lasting ways. Venus in Sagittarius at the Third Eye Chakra continues to open our oracular sight.  The aquare to Neptune might precipitate a crisis or conflict where we must choose Truth sourced in Divine Insight and unconditional love rather than preferences sourced in fear of loss or change. Until we make this choice, confusion reigns and we cannot access the full personal power, aliviness and clarity offered to us in this Scorpio/Pluto season.  

Happy Libra New Moon Beloved Soul Family!Today's Libra New Moon at 14 Libra exact this morning at 6:02 am central is with Mercury and Mars in the Corvus (Crow) Constellation in a square to Pluto, stationing direct this afternoon in its 4th square to Eris since January 2020.  If you're feeling mighty energies moving through you now you are not alone.  SO much is coming through for us to clear and release in this portal.By the 9th, Venus will have moved into Sagittarius and met the Moon to enter the Brow Chakra Gate near Deschubba, the Eye of the Scorpion.  Over the coming month as we near completion our Jupiter in Aquarius cycle, Venus helps us awaken our inner Vision Carrier and she asks of us all--what is the greater Vision for my life and how I want to serve the whole and share my light?Mars, in an Aries cycle since October, 2020, is going through a death phase at the heart of the Libra Sun, with the exact conjunction on October 11.  Mercury, still in a retrograde cycle until the 18th, is in council with Mars at the heart of the Sun bringing back messages to us over the coming months regarding the New Masculine--he who has died to his old patterns of violence and conflict and has been rebirthed as a guardian of life and right relationship.  This is a confronting energy and who we most need to confront is ourselves--that is, to confront and dismantle the untruths we've beleived about our inability to change or grow or take the necessary leaps.  Momentum is building for massive and much needed change.  By October 18 Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury will have also stationed direct and we want to have used this Mercury Retrograde period to align ourselves with our greater selves so the Universe can launch us and our dreams through the threshold of 2022. Our collective contraction has been a necessary chrysallis phase and now is the time to burst forth.   Life wants to move through us now, with joy and celebration.  If you are already in momentum in your life and powerfully aligned with your truth, your momentum will be accelerated to flow toward your greater purpose and mission.  If you have needed to make changes but felt stuck and stagnant, the powerful squares and planetary direct stations featured over the coming two weeks give you the impetus and rocket fuel to make the massive changes--and quickly.  It is time to shake off the old fear, the hesitation, the habit of overthinking and simply act from a greater truth living within us, compelling us to rise.  If you have been waiting for someone or some force larger than yourself to save you, to step in and tell  you how to live, who to be, and what to do, now is the time to break that codependent pattern. You are the one who holds the power.  You are the one who knows.  You are the one blessed by the Universe to accomplish what only your heart and higher vision can perceive and bring into manifestation.  Your ancestors are urging you forward now to accomplish what they could not.  Justice, truth, freedom, liberation. For you, yes, and also for all those in your field of influence.From now through the 18th is the actional phase of putting together the pieces, making the connections, preparing to bring something into the world. This will mean reaching out to people who deeply inspire you.  Finally making that call, sending that message, convening the people and groups who are on your same trajectory and with whom you can co-create with the greatest delight and aliveness.    Finally making decisions, taking risks, moving TOWARD life rather than shrinking from it.  It is truly time to live by the Goethe quote: “Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do, begin it. Action has magic, grace and power in it.”

The Virgo New Moon is exact tonight at 7:52 pm central.   Today also features three trines and the after affects of Venus Square Pluto yesterday, Mercury opposite Chiron tomorrow and Mars opposite Neptune several days ago so Virgo Earth is balanced by a great deal of feeling and flow. Virgo as Spider medicine reminds us to stand always at the center of our own web.  Virgo helps us counter Libra (Venus and Mercury now Mars as of Wednesday) codependent tendencies by helping us untangle from collective storylines keeping us locked in fear or disempowerment.  She helps us remember we are sovereign creators here to weave the most beautiful tapestry of our lives.  She is an excellent teacher of boundaries as she can help us see with our inner eye  what we have attracted into our life web through the quality of our frequency, thoughts and beliefs.  She can then support us in reweaving the web as needed--and if you've ever watched a spider they seem to do this effortlessly, quickly, and as often as needed!  She teaches that when we center ourselves and take responsibility for what is within our domain to influence, we can shapeshift the reality around us more rapidly than we might have imagined possible.She also helps us understand that the most creative and loving relationships are those where we are able to move in and out of connection and separation with grace and trust in our bond, because we are continually tending to the essential bond with Source and life itself.  More on my podcast, enjoy!

Dearest Soul Family,The Aquarius Full Moon is exact at its latest degrees tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 7:02 am, rapidly moving into Pisces as the Sun moves into Virgo conjunct Regulus, the Heart of the Lion, also tomorrow morning.  This is the second of two Aquarius Full Moons over the past month and that plus the Uranus station.  It has simply become unbearably painful to remain stuck in old habits of and addictions.  What we must surrender now is our habit of trying to control and manage all of life for fear of experiencing pain and loss.     To choose the way of connection and care is a radical act in these times of rapid and unrelenting change.  Our nervous systems may feel ragged and exhausted.  Practice gentleness toward yourself and others.   Turning toward what hurts as a loving witness softens what might feel impossible to bear, and makes of our hearts a safe harbor.I share much more in my podcast about the next two weeks as I sat beneath the beautiful oak tree, with monarch butterflies drifting past and two deer in the meadow.   I decided to offer something I've never offered before--for a week beginning this next Tuesday, I will be offering 20 minute Earth Sky sessions.    Happy Leo New Moon and Lion's Gate Soul Family!What a gorgeous time, filled with magic and  still in the Astrological Solar Cross Quarter of Lammas/Loughansah exact yesterday with the New Moon square Uranus preparing to station retrograde, so close to the Earth and very powerful. Today's "Lion's Gate" portal is associated with the numerology of August 8 yet also the heliacal rise of Sirius.  Our brightest and most magical star, sacred to the Egyptians, is now visible rising in the east across the northern hemisphere. August 11 is a power date for several reasons including that it is the day Sirius becomes visible to most. It is also the peak day for the beloved Perseid Meteor Showers, and also features the crescent Moon activating Venus at the Heart Chakra Gate. Also following the theme of Heart this month  Mercury then the Sun join Regulus, the heart of the Lion constellation over the coming weeks,  and the Lunar South Node joins Juno, planet of right relationship and the sacred origins of money.With Venus at the Heart Chakra gate moving into Libra by August 22, Juno with the South Node and Uranus stationing retrograde Thursday August 19, we are waking up to unhealthy relationship dynamics and making radically new choices to relate from our love and with heart rather than from fear and insecurity.  We are becoming conscious of and liberating ourselves from ancient cultural programming around marriage and relationship breaking the chains of co-dependence and all the ways we compulsively agree to be smaller than our grand and beautiful selves in order to fit in the box of conventional relationships.Leo New Moon asks--in your closest relationships with family members, friends or beloveds are you dimming your light and holding yourself back so as to be loved?  Are you overtly or covertly asking them to limit themselves and become smaller as well so as not to make you feel uncomfortable or compelled to grow?It is time for us to banish these old models and say to ourselves and to our beloveds--I will shine the light of who I am with grace, joy, and exuberance and I would be delighted if you did the same!! Dear Soul Family,How are you faring dear ones?  Tonight's radiant 1 Aquarius 26 Full Moon exact at 9:37 pm Central invites us to elevate and amplify the truest visions of our hearts.  No Aquarius bypass allowed--Pluto's influence can be seen quite literally in the Moon's blood-red hue here in the U.S., reflecting the devastating fires in our beloved northwestern forests. We are living in a time to allow our grief and love to propel us ever more deeply and firmly into the passionate purpose of our lives.  When we are living through such massive and radical restructuring within our being, our lives and our outer world, our souls yearn for full engagement with what is ours to do, and a very steady releasing of all that is nonessential on the path. This first of two Aquarius Full Moons we revisit visions seeded at the Grand Conjunction on December 21, 2020 when Jupiter and Saturn met near this exact same location in the sky.  This is known as the "Guru Moon" among some Buddhists, Hindus and Jains who recognize it as a time of high ceremony to raise the consciousness of the collective.  Over the coming weekend we will see the Moon join Saturn and Jupiter in the morning sky and feel it trigger the Saturn Uranus square.   Can you develop the muscle of perceiving miracles coming alive around you every day? Can you learn to look at your immediate world and the planet as a whole and imagine the most vibrant possible future twenty years from today?  A dream I have carried since I was very young was of a time where humans would restore our ecosystems and bring back great biodiversity of species.  Where it would become normal for everyday people to love and cultivate native plants and herbs, speak to the stars and Sun and Moon like relatives and care for all wild creatures regardless of our perception of how they can serve our material needs. I see this reality coming alive around us more and more every day.  Alongside the very real breakdown, the earth and we ourselves are in a process of remembering which I believe, down to my bones, is reweaving us back into the fabric of creation, healing our painful habit of separation, helping us become intimate with our own souls, each other, and our beautiful Earth family. More in my podcast, enjoy the beautiful Aquarius Moon! 

Dear Soul Family,We're well into Cancer Season which began on Summer Solstice June 20 and completes Thursday, July 22, with last night's Cancer New Moon punctuating and Mercury at Galactic Edge at 0 Cancer today.  In today's podcast I speak into the cardinal energies we navigate for a month after each of the Equinox's and Solstice points where we tend to do a great deal of "peopling."For those of us with a great deal of Mutable signs (Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo and Pisces) or Aquarius, it's important to remember in these seasons to take time for inner reflection, to feed your soul, and tend to your relationship with spirit and your intellect--more of the "sky energies" as we can feel so immersed in the human to human relational realms.  Of course we are also at a stage in our development as a species where, despite what you read in the news, more and more are awakening spiritually, so we are also finding in conversation with family members and friends in this more sociable time how much we are all growing and evolving, often in very surprising ways. The big astrological events of this week include Moon conjunct Venus tomorrow (Monday, July 12) activating the Solar Plexus and reminding us to take time for inspired action around our own priorities as well as those of the collective. Deepening and adding to this we have a Venus and Mars meetup Tuesday, July 13, in the evening sky near the Moon and Regulus, the star in the heart of the Lion--I speak in depth of this in my podcast.  Through this coming week we have access to profound downloads and spiritual insight due to the activation of all four Royal Persian Stars--Regulus (Moon, Venus, Mars), Antares (South Node), Fomalhaut (Jupiter) and Aldebaran (North Node).  Also this week the Sun is trine Neptune and on Thursday July 15, Chiron stations retrograde--a dynamic we feel over the coming week.  On Saturday, July 17 the Sun opposes Pluto--so we have the two planets associated with the shadow and shamanic initiation fully in the field.  Now is the time to identify what we must die to, what we must shed and be willing to release in order to open fully to life and remain aligned with our soul self.  Much more in this podcast!

 Happy Full Strawberry Moon in Capricorn Dear Soul Family!We have made it through the Eclipse Portal, Mercury Retrograde (out of shadow July 7) the second of three Saturn Uranus Squares, and into the luscious Summer Solstice season.  A deep bow to each and every one of us for the soul work we have been accomplishing.We have been working miracles, moving mountains, holding ground in the midst of great storms and remembering again and again our true nature!It is time to celebrate our greater movements toward a more joyful, embodied, radiant life and shared reality!This Full Moon in Capricorn arrives on the heels of Summer Solstice last Sunday, Mercury Direct and Jupiter retrograde on Tuesday, Venus opposite Pluto on Wednesday.  We are already feeling Neptune stationing retrograde tomorrow (Friday) and over the coming two weeks Mars (July 3) and Venus (July 6-8) will form a T-Square with Saturn and Uranus, while the Fourth of July features Sun square Chiron for the globe, a personal transit for the U.S. Chart.In my podcast I offer two practices for us in the coming week and two weeks:1: Anchoring Higher Vision: For the coming week, as the Moon moves from Capricorn to Aquarius and Pisces and we are in the dreaming field of Neptune in Pisces stationing Retrograde, we make time and space to dream big-- to consider what thrills and excites us  and how to live and be in the next 6 weeks, coming 1-3 years and decade.  Dear Soul Family,Happy Super Full Moon in Scorpio, and Lunar Beltane! This is the Pink Moon, Sprouting Grass Moon, Egg Moon, Fish Moon, depending on where you stand if you are on Turtle Island. Also this is the Full Moon at the Heart of Ramadan for Muslims; for Hindus it is Hanuman Jayanti a time for celebrating the birth of Lord Hanuman, for Buddhists especially in Sri Lanka this is Bak Poya, and for Eastern Christians this is the Paschal Full Moon prior to Easter. This powerful Full Moon is exact tonight at 10:32 pm Central and we will feel it strongly in the coming days.  The Moon is with Khambalia, the Star in the foot of the Virgin Constellation, known for transmitting esoteric and magical knowledge.  The Full Moon is also in a trine with Mars and features Uranus conjunct the Sun, Venus conjunct Black Moon Lilith (True Node) and Mercury.  Pluto is preparing to station retrograde tomorrow, Tuesday, April 27 and Venus is preparing to emerge into the Evening Sky from her Underworld journey since February 14 in the beams of the Sun.  She will be visible to most by May 5 near the Pleiades and within days will trine Pluto and move into Gemini.This is the closest Full Moon to Beltane so it would have historically opened the Beltane Window as Lunar Beltane.  The official cross quarter date is May 1, this Saturday, and exact Solar Beltane is May 4/5 when it is precisely poised between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice.  Dear Soul Family,Happy  Super Libra Full Moon opposite Venus and Chiron!  In this season of Aries with Sun, Venus, Chiron and asteroids Ceres and Eris all in the sign, the Libra Full Moon balances the fiery polarity of forward momentum with the need to consider our contribution to the whole.If you've been feeling the feels, no wonder.  The Full Moon at perigee (which we feel through the entire Full Moon window extending through tomorrow night) means the Moon is extremely close to the Earth so we feel her medicine through the tides of fluids in our physical and emotional bodies. With the Venus Underworld Chiron conjunction, we also experience a very personal and vivid transmission of how our current Chiron in Aries journey is supporting the rise of the feminine to bring our world back into balance.  Maybe we are confronting our own need to change and our resistance to this change as a rising tide of emotion in the body, needing release through right action.The vibrant Libra Full Moon in all her power compels us to move toward mutuality, harmony, equality, reciprocity--to balance impulsive action with the needs of the whole, of the Other, whomever that may be.  For some of us, especially those with Chiron in Aries (if you were born between 1968-1977 in most cases) the Venus Chiron activation might force you to balance in the direction of Aries, recognizing there can be no collective harmony without healthy self-claiming.This means we cannot be a healthy part of the necessary movement from separation to Unity Consciousness UNLESS we are actively and daily practicing our own personal "right to exist," healing the wounds of people pleasing or narcissism by confronting and challenging the core wound--a free floating shame for taking up space and existing in our current identity--this is the crux of the Chiron Aries Wound.I explore all this and much more including how the Chiron in Aries transit from 2018-2027 is playing out for us as a collective and how to best navigate it in this podcast.  Enjoy!

Dear Soul Family,I write to you in the heart of the fertile stillness just hours after our exact Pisces New Moon. A gentle presence has been settling our hearts, a subtle reorganization bringing greater internal peace and coherence. Though the Moon moves into Aries later this afternoon, Venus in Pisces is conjunct Neptune at 10:08 pm Central tonight and remains in Pisces until the 21st, the Sun remains in Pisces until March 20, and Mercury moves into Pisces on Monday , March 15 remining in the sign until April 3. So in the coming weeks, we continue to experience the great Dreaming field and an undercurrent inviting, at the higher octaves, states of great trust and flow. We are able to access this higher spiritual state most easily when we are able to bear practice self compassion and allow full feeling and embodiment. This time of nurturing stillness arrives in the wake of many moments where the internal pressure feels like too much, as if we will burst as we outgrow our old states of being, our old frequencies. Growing and giving birth to ourselves is seldom a pretty process, in fact we often show up as a big mess on the surface as we transition into a new way of being--so do not sabotage your transformation! From the perspective of the Venus Cycle, we are in the Chrysalis until May 6, and even then and for the first months of so of the Evening Star Venus Cycle where she is faint and dim and still far from us, having gone through an all encompassing underworld initiation and purification period, our wings are tender and we are in need of great care and presence with our emergent new states of being. If you can create pockets of space for yourself this weekend and through the weeks to come open and receive the benefit of this still point moment available to us now, it will nurture you and strengthen you at the root, giving you fortitude and core strength to navigate coming months of greater fire and action in the world. Venus Cycle Contribution to the Whole StoryJust as we have three days of life-giving dark and stillness surrounding the New Moon, just as winter offers 3 months respite and deep restoration in the season of the Sun, so does Venus, the third brightest celestial being in the sky, have her period, in this case 45 days, of slowing down, returning to Source for renewal.At the moment, we find ourselves in the heart of the Pisces New Moon cycle with the Sun continuing its passage through Pisces until the Equinox March 20, and as mentioned above the Venus Underworld cycle until early May. Happy Virgo Full Moon!I woke this morning exactly at the Full Moon 2:17 am walking out into the freezing cold of the backyard to see the gorgeous Moon pulsing with a luminous light. Lately Sirius, the Moon, the Sun and other stars and constellations are transmitting powerful beams of love and awakening, supporting us in our journey of integration, healing, and rising together in this new birthing time following the Great Conjunction of December 21, 2020. The Virgo Full Moon invites us to find the Sacred within the unified field of grace and love of prayer, meditation, nature and more (Sun in Pisces) while honoring the sacredness of the material and the particular in the world around us... honoring for example, personally, the many songs, the great beauty and particularity of all the birds making their voices and presence known on the lands around me here in Central Missouri in these first hints of spring. I recently watched a wonderful presentation by Divine Harmony, a fellow Astro Hub astrologer who has been doing extraordinary work among other things to marry astrology with the very grounded and skillful shadow work as presented by Robert Augustus Masters.She makes the case that we truly have moved into the Age of Aquarius (honoring that this is a larger movement not just something happening overnight) made a call to honor the feminine that has been so strongly at the core of my own spiritual awakening. I felt resonance with a true sister and will be interviewing her soon so stay tuned!I was moved by her willingness and enthusiasm to use the tools, the practice and studies in her life (astrology, Egyptian spirituality, shadow work, devotion to the feminine etc.) to craft a vivid and compelling story of meaning and purpose and transformation for humanity. I feel this is vital work for many of us--to use all at our disposal to tell a new story that dignifies the depth and breadth of what we are facing and creates a space for miracles, for transformation, and meaning to be found and catalyzed. We are living in a vacuum where the old story is simply not holding up and for various reasons we have an opening where we can use our personal and collective imagination, the Cosmology of our current age, wisdom from our elders and the wise youth among us (and from our own hearts and process of anamnesia--remembering what our souls already know).And while Venus, the "New World Storyteller" is undergoing her great purification and renew in the beams of the Sun--meaning that this is what we are ALL at some level experiencing, now is the time to nourish ourselves with deepest springs of spiritual nurturance and truth so the story we tell come this spring as Venus rises as Evening Star, the stories we tell individually and collectively have coherence, great heart, and living truth as their foundation. Happy Chinese New Year and Aquarius (Now Pisces) New Moon!In the wake of yesterday's jubilant Aquarius New Moon, and today's Pisces (still New) Moon and Chinese New Year of the Metal Ox, I have been seeking voices and perspectives to help me and us find our way forward with true hearts.Sometimes I remember elders who influenced me deeply over the years and try to find YouTubes where I can see them and listen to their voices. Over the past couple of days I have been deeply drawn back to Joanna Macy. She is a true elder of our time, at 91 years of age, she is still speaking, teaching, transmitting great wisdom regarding our current age. She is a Buddhist and a Deep Ecologist known for the process she developed known as "The Work That Reconnects." Perhaps more than anyone I know, she creates a container where we can do the necessary work of facing our grief and anguish as we cultivate the heart and compassion to be doulas of a dying age and midwives of what she refers to as "The Great Turning." Her words in a recent interview:"I spoke to the sky--I remember looking up at the stars, I wanted them to see us. Not to save us. I said please see us, to see what happens to a planet when we don't love each other. I thought if we could at least be useful in that way it would make it so much easier to bear. It would make us an abject lesson to the Universe, or at least our part of the Galaxy," don't you think it would make it easier?"She has an Aquarius Moon, and when I hear her words and her transmission of a particular feminine Aquarian intelligence we are needing to access in order to see the magnitude of what we face and understand we must take the long view of repairing our broken world. Aquarius Mercury is slowing to station retrograde on Saturday, January 30--opening a three week window of personal revolutionary introspection. This also marks a bit of a slow-down in the all planets direct momentum resuming with Mercury's direct station February 20 and continuing through April 27. We have divergent energies dancing in tension and harmony through the coming weeks. With Venus moving into Aquarius on Monday, February 1, we will have the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter and Vesta all in Aquarius. The February 11 New Moon produces an extraordinary stellium of 7 planetary bodies in Aquarius.Aquarius invites detachment, zooming out to see the larger view, and a spirit-oriented perspective. It is of benefit to take the Eagle view, to remember that beneath all of the messiness and entanglement of our human lives, emotions, triggers, and karmic patterns, we are spirit in a body and ultimately free. We also have Venus at her furthest point from the Earth as she prepares to enter the Underworld, or the beams of the Sun on February 14, invisible until about May 5, when she appears as Evening Star. Venus in the Underworld takes us to our depths even as Aquarius invites us to rise into the realms of light, spirit and our multidimensional natures. Happy Capricorn New Moon with Pluto!We have fully entered the threshold into 2021, and our first New Moon, exact at 11:00 pm Central tonight, January 12, is an especially magnetic moment for us to set intentions for the coming month, energized by Pluto. We must face our fears and follow the energy where it leads. This morning the Moon met Venus at the Root Chakra Gate. This is the time in the Venus Cycle where the Goddess Inanna removes her royal robes as her final surrender prior to entering the Underworld for a full death and rebirth initiation. Pluto is the purifier and transformer and when we meet him we recognize beyond the mind that something must die, something must be let go. If we can walk into the unknown, into the fertile darkness with trust, even in a wholehearted humbled way, we reap the reward of a renewed life. Despite the mayhem and madness on the surface of life in our times, when we choose to take moments to go inward, to drop down and into the present moment, to stillness, and quiet to simply be, we will find there is a very deep and nourishing river of peace to tap into and replenish ourselves at the soul level.Over the coming weeks, visit there often. As you drink deep from the well of peace that lives inside of you and deep in the world around you, you will build an energetic field of presence that will magnify and calm others. Happy Cancer Full Moon! Happy 13th Full Moon of 2020 and final Full Moon of the decade! The Cancer Full Moon was last night at 9:28 pm Central and as I prepare to send this email, at 7:30 am Wednesday morning, the Moon is in exact alignment with Sirius, the New Year Star.One of the magical features of the January 1 New Year date on the otherwise not-so-magical Gregorian Calendar is that this is the time frame where Sirius, the brightest star in the sky with associations to Isis and the ancient Egyptian cultures, is at the top of the sky at midnight.So this Full Moon near Sirius is truly a powerful portal for us and continues to be so through this evening, as it moves through the Sacred Hoop of stars nearer to Castor and Pollux in the Twins constellation--still in the sign of Cancer.We are invited in the coming days to root deep as we review 2020 with an eye for the magic and bright spots gleaned from a year of maturation and growth through restriction, soul searching, and honing down into what is essential. Cancer is the wise mother asking us--what has been born in you in 2020 that needs your nurturance and care to develop into full expression in the year to come?What practices have helped you return home to center when you felt as if the world around was spinning off its axis? Happy Solstice of the Millennium All!With Jupiter meeting Saturn tomorrow on the Solstice exact at 12:21 central at 0 Aquarius we end 2020 on a major up note... this conjunction, referred to by many as the "Great Conjunction," the "Christmas Star" or "Star of Bethlehem" is a birth event on many levels.Jupiter meets Saturn every 20 years, so this is the seed point for a new 20 year Aquarius activation at the smallest scale. This activation also completes a 200 year Earth phase of human culture focused on the material realms, initiating a new 200 year "breath of fresh air." This is also an activation we have not seen the likes of for nearly a century, as the two planets have not been this close, visible to much of the global population for 800 years, since the 1200's. Happy Lunar Samhain Everyone!This Full Moon is extraordinary, asking us to choose to live in the "what if" field of reality, choosing to believe miracles are possible (and knowing we are resourced and supported come what may). The Full Moon in Taurus is exact tomorrow (Saturday) 9:50 am central with Uranus. This is Lunar Samhain, traditionally celebrated as the Cross Quarter between Fall Equinox and Winter Solstice. Solar Samhain, when the Sun is at the exact midpoint is November 6/7. This is a time to slow down and come home to our true center. To connect to sources of strength that live within us, always available. To drop into our bodies and if we are in a good place, we may feel exquisitely alive. To pace ourselves, and to give and take action from a place of resource and if we are feeling exhausted, if possible, to slow down and restore. The more we can bring presence to exactly where we are at, the more quickly we experience emotional integration, a process we have been collectively immersed in.We have been learning to engage the feminine and masculine energies in a more masterful way, though the path to this emergent mastery has been far from smooth! We are learning to recognize more quickly when we've been pushing too hard and need to stop and drop deep into our resources of stillness and peace. We are learning when it is time to declare to the Universe what our new terms are. This is a very powerful practice! In my case yesterday when I was fed up enough with the core wound I've come to know more and more intimately, I finally declared to the Universe: I Now Declare I No Longer Carry the Burden of Believing I Must Heal Everyone and Everything. I no longer carry ANYTHING that does not belong to me! From here on out I am free and clear to live the life of joy, of peace, of pleasure and play that is my divine birthright!! SO BE IT!And more. The Libra New Moon was exact today at 12:31 pm Pacific, with Spica, the brightest star in the Virgin Constellation forming a T-Square with the Capricorn Stellium and Mars in Aries. The potent perigee Virgo New Moon was exact at 4:00 am Pacific this morning and we feel its effects as an undercurrent for the coming month. Virgo instructs us on the power of claiming our personal sovereignty and in Her expression (in men and women) as Spider or the Great Weaver she demonstrates the great skill of centering ourselves in our own Web, or field of consciousness.I share a very personal story and meditation to help listeners deeply anchor the medicine of Virgo in their lives for this month and in the month to come. With the edgy energies of Mars in Aries retrograde in a square to Saturn preparing to station direct on September 28, we are reminded to be diligent about centering ourselves and cleaning up and repairing our own field or web in order to attract and resonate with the reality we wish to create over the coming years and even decade. Gemini Venus at the Throat Chakra Gate also reminds us it is imperative at this time to offer ourselves to create as much as we consume--whether this creation comes in the form of actively bringing our own wisdom and insight into the conversations we engage in, or creating art, or programs, or music or a more nuanced and rich relationship with our inner child, or a Beloved, or the land around us--it's time for us to bring our energy into the world more, because we are needed now. The Pisces Full Moon Trine Uranus was exact this morning at 12:22 am Central.As I recorded this podcast at 8 pm Central the Moon was nearly exactly conjunct Neptune. So we have a supportive celestial love and unity field generated by the high heart of Pisces/Neptune harmonized with the healthy detachment of Uranus. And do we ever need that kindness, gentleness, Unity consciousness offered at the beginning of the month to soften the edges of the very "real" and dynamic energies right in our faces!Because this week we have a T-Square with Venus and Saturn activating Mars, which is near conjunction with Eris and Black Moon Lilith--Badass Goddesses in their own right. Mars is preparing to station retrograde September 9, so it is bright and very close to the Earth, and will remain close to a square with Saturn, also slowing down and preparing to station direct September 28.This energy--of fast moving, bold, passionate Mars in Aries turned backward and constrained by Saturn--can feel oppressive or frustrating if we don't know what we're encountering. If we work constructively with it, we can learn to harness the very vital energies and work steadily toward cherished goals and dreams, it is a time for strategizing, for cultivating self responsibility in many areas.The pressure we feel can help us cultivate our inner mastery, we can become as diamonds.
