After a brief hiatus the boys (and Laura!) return with an episode about knowing thyself. Aaron Marsh (@aaronmmarsh) has had a wild life and in the last year on his podcast he's began processing a lot of stuff. Three out of four people on the episode are currently in therapy and we get several perspectives on different approaches people take to therapy. They break up the heavy with some fun side bits but really dig into the positive reasons to see a therapist. We close out The Magic Flute series with the Kenneth Branagh version that is wacky, but not wacky enough. With the high concept of this movie, Jon and Aaron figure out if it helped or hurt the storytelling. Aaron's back to continue on his Magic Flute journey with Jon with the 1975 Swedish film by Ingmar Bergman. The two have a lot to say about this one, especially the girl in the audience who they assume is Bergman's daughter. He's also hosting at this event: Knuckle Breakers Productions, in association with Furnace Fest, presents Knuckle Breaker Bash - Midwest on Friday, December 10th at The Rino. This is the first date in our series of multi-community regional events. Join us in Kansas City, MO for a weekend of music and fun! Greetings! This week: we get our Polk on, folks. Please, join me as we discover the truth about trombone players and how to drop your nephew in a ditch and live to tell the tale! I sit down with Aaron Marsh at his studio here in central Florida, The Vanguard Room, before he leaves to support his band Copeland's latest album, Ixora. Enjoy!
