Joe Enders did what every Catholic should be able to do: he publicly defended the teaching of his Church. Days later, he was placed on administrative leave. On Ash Wednesday, he was fired. The Archdiocese of Detroit offered no clear explanation. But the timing tells the story. Enders had appeared on a Catholic commentary program and posted on social media about Zionism, distinguishing it from anti-Semitism, articulating the Church's teaching on the Old Covenant, and affirming that the Church is the New Israel. For this, he lost his job, his income, and his health insurance. His second child is due any day. This is about what happens when young, orthodox Catholics, raised in the faith, committed to tradition, raising families, discover that speaking the Church's own language can get them exiled from her institutions. Enders represents a generation drawn to the Latin Mass, to clarity, to martyrdom if necessary. The Archdiocese just showed them what loyalty costs.HELP JOE AND HIS FAMILY: https://www.spotfund.com/story/bb589a31-b4d4-4112-b753-5002d69b0a57HELP SUPPORT WORK LIKE THIS: https://give.lifesitenews.com/?utm_source=SOCIAL U.S. residents! Episode Summary What happens when outward success masks inner survival? In this powerful and deeply personal conversation, Shaun sits down with Genia Enders, conscious coach and founder of Journey With G, to explore what so many ambitious mothers experience quietly: pressure, over-functioning, emotional overwhelm, and the feeling of holding everything together while slowly losing themselves inside. Genia shares her journey from building a multi-million-dollar business to realizing that motherhood didn't create her stress — it illuminated what was already beneath the surface. Together, they unpack what it means to move from reactivity to presence, why nervous system regulation is foundational for emotional intelligence and leadership, and how moms truly become the emotional leaders of the home — the "Chief Emotional Officer" of the family. This episode is an invitation to slow down, tune inward, and live with more intention, alignment, and peace. What You'll Learn in This Episode The difference between survival mode and true wholeness How motherhood reveals unresolved emotional patterns Common survival habits among high-achieving women: overdoing, over-pleasing, ignoring What nervous system dysregulation actually feels like day-to-day Why breathwork and grounding practices create immediate change The shift from self-improvement to self-integration How presence transforms leadership, parenting, and relationships Why moms are the emotional tone-setters of the household The compounding power of living with 1% more intention each day Key Moments 00:00 – Genia's story begins: success on the outside, chaos within 03:00 – Motherhood as the great illuminator 05:00 – Healthy drive vs nervous-system over-functioning 07:40 – The litmus test: "What is my emotional home like?" 10:30 – Tools to shift from reactivity to presence 14:00 – Nervous system work and leadership performance 18:30 – Transformation isn't about fixing yourself 21:00 – Self-integration vs self-improvement 41:00 – Moms as the "Chief Emotional Officer" 46:00 – The daily question: living with 1% more intention Memorable Quotes "Motherhood didn't create the awareness — it illuminated it." "Stress and overwhelm aren't proof that you're failing. They're an invitation to grow." "Presence is a practice, not a destination." "A grounded mom changes the entire emotional fabric of the family." "What is one way I can live with more intention today — just 1% better?" Resources & Links

LABOR DAY REPLAY:Courtney Enders brings her infectious enthusiasm and deep drag racing knowledge to this episode as she discusses her exciting new role with NHRA TV. As the sister of six-time Pro Stock champion Erica Enders, Courtney offers a unique insider perspective on the sport while carving her own path in racing media.Speaking from her temporary home in snowy Stratford, Ontario, Courtney shares the whirlwind journey that led to her joining the NHRA broadcast team alongside veterans like Dave Freiburger. What makes her story particularly compelling is how she's balancing multiple professional roles simultaneously – maintaining her full-time position managing content at Flow Racing while taking on NHRA TV responsibilities and still assisting with team management at Elite Motorsports. The conversation takes fascinating turns as Courtney provides candid insights into Elite Motorsports' rumored Top Fuel aspirations. She describes team owner Richard Freeman as "the world's most interesting man" with his "hand always on the go button," while explaining the regulatory challenges preventing Erica from competing in both Pro Stock and Top Fuel. Listeners gain valuable understanding of the behind-the-scenes dynamics that shape racing team decisions.Perhaps most poignant is Courtney's vulnerability when discussing Elite's challenging 2023 season, revealing how crew chief Mark Ingersoll's double lung transplant impacted the team's performance. Despite the setbacks, she assures fans that Erica is "pissed off and hungry" heading into the new season – a mindset that has previously led to championship runs. For both dedicated racing fans and casual listeners, this episode provides a fascinating glimpse into the evolution of drag racing media, the personal stories behind the competition, and how the Enders family continues to shape the sport's future. Whether you're familiar with the Disney movie "Right On Track" that chronicled the Enders sisters' early career or just discovering their story, Courtney's enthusiasm for all things drag racing is undeniably contagious.Be sure to subscribe for more In Wheel Time Car Talk! The Lupe' Tortilla RestaurantsLupe Tortilla in Katy, Texas Gulf Coast Auto ShieldPaint protection, tint, and more!Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. Rebecca Enders discusses supports and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Rebecca, a board-certified case manager and director of case management at Optimal Health Care in Maryland, outlines the importance of coordinated services, including Medicaid waivers, community integration, and support across the lifespan. Having transitioned from a 15-year career in education, Rebecca found renewed purpose in case management, eventually developing a data-driven acuity model called Atlas Acuity. This system assesses client needs using weighted metrics to calculate an acuity score, guiding the assignment of caseloads and preventing case manager burnout. Her approach emphasizes time allocation and service equity, empowering professionals to deliver meaningful care while sustaining well-being and effectiveness within the field.

Table.Briefings - For better informed decisions. Briefings. Time to head beyond the bounds. Bird bone robots arrive as we check out some of Yoji Shinkawa's Zone of the Enders designs, one of the lesser Kojima series (by sales at least, I think they're great). Spindly weirdos meet clunky big boys, and then we close it out with a dash of evil femme by way of Egyptology. I wish he was working on something other than Death Stranding 2- I will play that game, but the like Wet Oil aesthetic those games have does not speak to me. Welcome to the Video Game Book Club where three of the gaming industry's best consultants (to never consult on a game) get together to talk about a specific video game in book club fashion.
