Our next guest is someone that many likely aren't aware of. I have posted pics of her on the NSNG® Facebook group page a few times bragging about her. Her success has been flying under the radar for a while now, but I convinced her to share her story with us. Please don't hold this against her but our guest is a personal friend of mine and perhaps the only person who has ever asked for my advice and really used it. Sometimes people just quietly put in the work without bringing attention to themselves and then you run into them and they blow your mind. That is the perfect example of my friend Amanda Price, thank you so much for joining us.Find Scott's information here:LinkTreeFind Robyn's information here:Harbinger of Health, LLCLinkTreeAdditional Resources Mentioned:NSNG eBook by Vinnie TortorichScott's interview on Low Carb MD Podcast: • Episode 294: Scott King Anna Vocino Eat Happy Kitchen@lessofmestories YouTube, X, Instagram Hosted on Acast. My guest today is the beautiful Amanda Price of https://PassionsAcrossAmerica.com who recently completed my Inner Circle coaching program with the Pageant Interview Game Plan In her words, “As Miss Crown of Tennessee, I had it all. I was going to law school, publishing another article, going to events, and traveling across the United States as President of the National Sports and Entertainment Law Society. But something was missing. I wasn’t giving back, and I felt very unfulfilled. I made the decision to start volunteering when I traveled. With my new will to volunteer, the Summer of Service was born. “The Summer of Service was a project that allowed me to serve and volunteer in all 50 states. When I traveled for business, I would also spend time volunteering. Volunteering in this capacity allowed me to work with many different groups, support many different causes, and encourage so many people across the country to get involved in their own communities. “I was inspired by how much of a difference one summer was able to make, but no one really knew what was happening except for the people that I was volunteering with. Something this good just had to be shared, so I started a blog and with it Passions Across America was born. “Through blogging, I’m able to share my experiences with different organizations, raise money for their causes, and recognize the wonderful people that make all of this possible. I’m also able to showcase other people and causes near and dear to their hearts.” – Amanda Price, https://passionsacrossamercia.com To sign up for Amanda’s newsletter and stay in touch with her, go to https://passionsacrossamercia.com If you are ready to schedule a Virtual Pageant Coaching Strategy Session, here’s what to do: 1. This week, we’re excited to share a very special episode featuring our first ever ‘trio’ on the pod who discussed the impact, role, and necessity of Australian startup boards. Ian sat down with Amanda Price, Head of KPMG High Growth Ventures, Anthony Sochan, Partner at Think & Grow and Martin Dalgleish, Partner at Morpheus Ventures, for an in-depth exploration about company boards - discussing everything from how to create successful boards, to tackling board diversity, to when to start creating boards? Recently, KPMG High Growth Ventures and Think & Grow teamed together recently to produce a brilliant and comprehensive report titled The Startup Board Report, interviewing 26 startup board directors globally and surveying over 70 Australian startups. Some key stats they found include:40% of late-stage startups don’t have an independent board member50% of startups compensate board members with cash or equity76% of startups don't have a diversity target in place65% of startups don’t recruit board members through a formal processWe’re very passionate about the importance of startup boards. Our GM, Sian Priest, co-founded Get on Board with the aim of connecting more women with board opportunities, so this is definitely a topic we resonate well with. For founders that are yet to put together a board, or aren’t sure where to start, this is a fantastic Ep that’ll help get you started. We hope you enjoy!

Amanda Price, Head of KPMG Enterprise High Growth Ventures and Scott Draper, Director Management Consulting, KPMG, discuss key learnings from the 2018 Startup Founders Research.
Australia has become a global hub for startups. The spotlight is always on founders and their vision. But success often comes at a price. Entrepreneurs find it hard to achieve a work-life balance, burn the candle at both ends, and often suffer from financial stress and anxiety. Amanda Price, Head of High Growth Ventures, KPMG Enterprise, has developed a program to tackle this increasing trend.
Amanda Price is the head of KPMG's High Growth Ventures team. Their aim is to help founders build successful startups by helping them with access to capital, customers and international connections. She returned from almost 10 years in Los Angeles in various startup roles and has been a pillar of the Aussie startup community for over three years now. She's smart and passionate about startups. I really enjoyed our conversation.

Join the ladies of Excessively Diverted as they discuss Modern ideas in a Georgian world, and why a life without Lizzy is one they're just not interested in. Lost in Austen was directed by Dan Zeff and stars Jemima Rooper, Elliot Cowan, Hugh Bonneville and Alex Kingston
