A US Congresswoman from New Jersey—who happens to be an African-American female named, because of course, LaMonica McIver—was captured on video committing assault and battery upon Federal immigration officers back in May of this year, as part of a protest against the Delaney Hall ICE facility outside of Newark.  (2)With remarkable swiftness McIver was charged with two counts of violating 18 USC 111. “Assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers or employees,” with each count being good for 8 years in a Federal penitentiary. Despite her criminal conduct being obviously captured on video, McIver has raised a plethora of legal arguments to excuse her apparent violence against these Federal officers.And this week she received the bad news, that the Biden-appointed Federal judge considering these inane arguments properly deemed them inane, and dismissed them—meaning that McIver now proceeds to a full-blown federal criminal prosecution with serious federal time waiting for her on the other side.

Lutnick who was Epstein's next door neighbor and held Hillary Clinton fundraisers at his house recently became head of Trump's transition team and is now the US Commerce Secretary. He seems to be regularly standing behind Trump at pressers as the president calls his supporters "weaklings" for wanting more information on Epstein and justice for his victims. Similarly, Alexander Acosta who was Trump's Labor Secretary was the prosecuting lawyer against Epstein during an earlier court case. Acosta claims he gave Epstein a plea deal because he was warned he was intelligence. Epstein himself claimed to girlfriends that he was an agent for Israel. Giuffre's book exposes much more including how Ghislaine Maxwell and Epstein tried to force her to have their baby and how Prince Andrew thought his abuse of Giuffre was his "birthright." How many times have we heard this tale? A woman accuses a man in power of assaulting or abusing her. She is immediately put on trial, accused of "ruining a good man's reputation." His assault is swept under the rug and the survivor is called a man-hating feminist (which is not inaccurate and for good reason).  Chanel Miller. Amber Heard. Blake Lively E. Jean Carroll. Christine Blasey Ford. And today, Anne Hauben. She bravely reached out to Toxic to let us know she was ready to talk about what happened to her at 18. She's now in her 50s.  Before everyone says, "BuT WhY nOw?!" be aware that less than 23% of rapes and sexual assaults are reported to authorities, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Congressman Don Bacon introduced legislation Thursday that would increase criminal penalties for anyone convicted of killing or conspiring to kill public safety officers. The so-called ‘Back the Blue Act' would also create mandatory minimums for assaulting a federally funded law enforcement officer, which could include a firefighter, chaplain, federal judge or rescue squad member. If a death occurs, there is a mandatory minimum sentence of 30 years. Attempting to flee to avoid prosecution carries a minimum of 10 years.
