They discuss where Matt and colleagues found the evidence and why the UK government has tried so hard to keep it secret. They also talk about the significance of the UK base where the IAF planes have been landing, RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, which was recently targeted by Palestine Action. Matt explains how IAF refuelling planes have been active over Gaza around the time of war crimes, including attacks on residential apartment blocks. They finish by talking about the implications of the new findings, with British ministers coming under increasing pressure for transparency about the UK military and intelligence role in the Gaza genocide. The Israeli military says it has stepped up its operations in the Gaza Strip, launching airstrikes and deploying additional ground forces.
The Israeli Military is going to enter Gaza “with full force” in the coming days, according to its prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. Under the plan, which has been internationally condemned by world leaders, Netanyahu said it could involve his government displacing Palestinians from Gaza and working with other nations to accept refugees. We get the latest on this with Alistair Bunkall, Sky News Middle East Correspondent. We also heard from Dr Jilan Abdalmajid, Palestinian Ambassador to Ireland.
AP correspondent Laurence Brooks reports on Israeli aistrikes near the presidential palace in Damascus.
On March 23, the death toll in Gaza surpassed 50,000 people killed by Israeli fire in the war with Hamas. This is the story of 15 people who were killed the same day. There were airstrikes across the territory, and in the south Israeli troops opened fire on a crew of emergency workers in ambulances and a firetruck. At first, the Israeli military said the vehicles were "advancing suspiciously" toward troops, "without headlights or emergency signals." It said the soldiers had eliminated a number of Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants. A recording unearthed days later told a different story ultimately leading the Israel to conduct an investigation. The results blamed an "operational misunderstanding" and cite professional failures. In more than 18 months of war – it's been rare for the Israeli Military to acknowledge failure.
