The Star Wars world converges on the city of Joliet Illinois on the first Saturday of June in 2024 as the long running event, hosted by the Joliet Public Library swings back into action on this rainy Saturday. Kicking off with a parade down N. Chicago Street and finishing in front of the library, cosplay groups from the area form one of the largest costumed assemblies in the country that's not at a large scale convention. Artists, makers, vendors, authors and cosplayers fill both the library and museum up the street.
