Producer Adam Deacon joined the podcast talking shop on the Buffalo Bills Free Agency acquisitions. Was the Antonio Brown chase a message from Bills General Manager Brandon Beane that they’re for real? The Bills had an incredible smart start to free agency, plugging loads of holes leaving a plethora of options prior to the 2019 NFL Draft. Adam and host David Palermo remind fans not to sleep on running back legend Frank Gore- hell of a backfield with Chris Ivory and LeSean McCoy. Mitch Morse was paid huge money to be the center for Josh Allen for a long time coming, couple that with a plethora of offensive lineman and the cream should rise to the top. John Brown and Cole Beasley were the highest paid pass catchers, quick review as well with some Tyler Kroft talk. NFL1:00 PM ESTRotation #315-316Lions +3 over BillsThe Lions have their flaws. This team put a few guys on IR this week and they are missing a few key running backs. Matthew Stafford is not at 100 percent, but he is one of the tougher guys in the NFL. The key to this game is the Buffalo running game with McCoy most likely missing todays contest and Chris Ivory being iffy as well. You can’t as a football team rely on Josh Allen to be a running QB all day. Sooner or later this guy is going to get hurt. The Lions have the linebackers and the secondary to keep Allen in check and I don’t think he has the accuracy to beat them either. The Bills FG kicker has also missed practice all week because of a blind side hit last week. Detroit could lay an egg with all the preseason expectations, but with a brand new coaching staff I don’t think they will. The Detroit defense played great last week. I look for them to extend that momentum into today. Take the Lions.

The Buffalo Bills fell hard to the Indianapolis Colts, leaving many Bills fans who were supporting the team, finally turn. Host David Palermo reads a letter from Russ Salvatore live on air, with comments on him being 85, and jumping off the Bills Wagon offering McDermott some golf in January. Russ is not just an average fan, he has supported financially sponsoring advertising for his businesses on Buffalo Bills shows along with hosting huge Bills fan parties. A super heart felt thing Russ would do is purchase remaining tickets to home games, and the tickets were then distributed to local military and youth organizations. There is some hope from the last game the Bills played, Kelvin Benjamin had his most impressive game as a Buffalo Bill, plucking the ball from the air when Anderson tossed it only where he could snag it. Zay jones also looked solid, along with Chris Ivory and the offensive line steadily progressing to their best day yet. Derek Anderson was thrown in earlier than he planned, that said was the best performance in yards from any Bills quarterback this season. Dane Martinez and Scott Engel open the show looking at the fact that the Redskins could end up in first place in the NFC East with a sub .500 record. Looking at the Rams' fantasy herd, the guys question what would happen if the offense is without Cooper Kupp and Brandin Cooks, who both sustained injured against the Seahawks. Leonard Fournette and Chris Ivory are dealing with nagging injuries, and Scott says T.J. Yeldon is back to have in Jacksonville, but the question is, who will be the handcuff? Looking at the Raiders, Scott likes the rise of Jordy Nelson as a WR4, but also says Amari Cooper is too unpredictable to find any value in him. Looking at the wasteland that is tight end, Dane says if you haven't already, go grab George Kittle, as Scott agrees he is a TE1 going forward. The Vikings have shown they have no running game, but Scott likes that both Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen are every-week starting WR1s; Dane and Scott try to rank the top fantasy wide receivers through the first five weeks of the season. Looking at the Sunday night game, Dane is worried about the longterm health of Texans QB Deshaun Watson. Looking ahead to tonight's game between the Redskins and Saints, Dane and Scott are excited for the return of Mark Ingram. #FNTSY #NFL #fantasyfootball #Week5 #Rams #Raigers #Jaguars #Washington #Saints #MNF #SNF #Texans #Cowboys #DOntaForeman #DeandreHopkins #DeShaunWatson #MarkIngram Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers

We're joined by Greg Smith (@gregsauce), founder of TwoQBs.com, to complete a mock draft using our Draft Simulator. We begin by discussing two quarterback leagues and why they can be so much fun before diving into our mock draft (1:53). We set our mock drafts up to pick from the eighth slot in a 12-team league with rosters that include two quarterbacks, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end, one RB/WR/TE flex position and four bench slots (4:41). Our first round discussion involves passing on a quarterback to take a player like Julio Jones (5:47) or if Drew Brees at eighth overall is a worthy pick (7:40). The second round features players Lamar Miller (8:27) and LeVeon Bell (9:03). Greg mulls over his third round quarterback choices before he decides to take another running back in Mark Ingram (9:55). We agree on Demaryius Thomas' value in the fourth round (11:05) before moving on to the fifth round where we discuss players like Kirk Cousins (12:02), Thomas Rawls (12:23), Jonathan Stewart (12:47) and Tyrod Taylor (13:13). Bobby talks about why he likes Jordan Reed (14:10) before Greg satiates our love for Donte Moncrief and takes him in the sixth round (15:25). We have a hard time finding value in the seventh round, and we discuss if Jordan Matthews (17:00), Andy Dalton (17:34), Duke Johnson (17:46) and John Brown (18:26) are worth a pick. Eighth round discussion involves Josh Gordon (19:26) and Robert Griffin III (20:46). Greg tells us why he likes Michael Crabtree's value in the ninth round this year (22:21). In the tenth round Bobby considers quarterbacks before settling on Kevin White (23:20) while Greg decides on a running back and selects Chris Ivory (24:06). Greg takes Jay Cutler as his third quarterback and talks about why it's a high floor pick at this point in the draft (25:37) while Bobby selects Devin Funchess in the 11th round (26:53). In the twelfth round Greg takes another quarterback (27:13), and Bobby debates taking Blaine Gabbert or Teddy Bridgewater (28:21). We finish our drafts by discussing Dwayne Allen (29:16) and Michael Thomas (29:54) and then we compare our draft grades (30:31). Draft Wizard: draftwizard.fantasypros.com
Mike Tagliere (@MikeTagliereNFL) of Pro Football Focus joins us to talk about the latest NFL news and players to target or avoid in your fantasy drafts. Injury news continues with our thoughts on Matt Jones (15:50), and Dion Lewis (17:53). Moving on to draft strategy, we talk about players we think are over-hyped. The list includes Tyler Lockett (21:38), Julian Edelman (22:46), Latavius Murray (25:18), and Greg Olsen (27:39). It wouldn't be a FantasyPros podcast if we didn't talk about our love for Donte Moncrief (28:51) before moving on to why Mike is low on Jordan Reed (32:05). We discuss why Mike is high on Coby Fleener (35:54) and talk about whether Odell Beckham Jr. is a definite top 5 pick (37:53). Mike gives us his final over-hyped player, Ben Roethlisberger (43:39), before telling us why he likes taking Jeremy Langford at his ADP (46:36), why he's fading Chris Ivory in drafts (49:44) and why he has Kelvin Benjamin on his do not draft list (53:00).

Nat, Mike and special guest Paolo “The Great” Bandini arrive at the studio this week with a sense of purpose which is dimmed only by a slight sense of foreboding. There have been sightings of Hollywood back on English soil. What can this mean? They don’t have to wait long to find out… In other news: HdP has brought a bunch of Mancave products for the guys and Mike gets a little unnecessary about it; Paolo has seen some documentaries and starts getting into that when Dan Podcrashes his way into the building; luckily there’s very little violence as he’s a little jetlagged and pleasingly squishy; Mike talks about The Crime Vault Live – his and HdP’s new show all about crime fiction; the final round for the Mancave Mystery Star Prize is beginning – exciting isn’t the word; there was NFL at Wembley in case you hadn’t noticed and it was basically the Chris Ivory show; Miami coaching job was outsourced on the way home; the Bears pick up a win; the Bengals seem shakily like a real deal at 4-0; things happen in the MLB, Nat tells you about them; loads of goodness from the Mancave Mailbag and indeed a big pile of much, much more….

Andrew Juge and Kevin 'Iron Eagle' Held join Ralph to review the draft. Andrew reminds everyone Pro Football Focus rated the Roman Harper and Malcolm Jenkins AS THE WORST TWO SAFETIES IN FOOTBALL so Kenny Vaccaro was definitely a need pick. Kevin reviews the Chris Ivory trade and then explains the difference between fun fat guy and sack of #@$ fat guy. He is also incredibly excited about the fashion choices Kenny Stills makes come August. Ralph drops some Tarleton State knowledge. The guys go off topic and discuss Jason Collins announcing he is gay and Kevin uses a great analogy to explain the meaning of it. The guys wrap up the show deciding what is a reasonable expectation for the rookies to contribute in 2013 , making fun of teams who had horrible drafts, and random salary cap thoughts.
The Atlanta Falcons are reportedly looking to trade up. Ralph, Andrew and Kevin debate whether the Saints should accommodate them. Let's just say Andrew and Kevin's answer rhymes with duck bow. Kevin explains how the Saints signed of Seneca Wallace and let's just say it involves Rob Ryan and beer. Ralph gets the shakes thinking about Mickey Loomis drafting Manti Te'o. The boys try to figure out which scenario is likely to happen so the Saints can trade down Andrew guesses Chris Ivory's trade value and could the tragedy in Boston mean even tighter security at Saints games? The boys end with another edition of 'Mocking the Draft' involving best Saints players names. It lasts four rounds and involves a website YOU SHOULD UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES GOOGLE AT WORK.
It's too bad Dave couldn't make this week's podcast because he totally could have gloated when Kevin and Ralph admitted he was right about not giving up Mark Ingram. Kevin compares the Saints secondary to the Godfather Part III and it isn't a compliment. The guys also try to figure out why the hell it took so long to get Chris Ivory on the field. (Hint: Kevin thinks it's because Aaron Kromer was a horrible interim coach) Kevin worries Carson Palmer is going to light up the Saints defense and it will be awful to watch. Ralph thinks if the Saints are going to make a serious run in 2012 Jonathan Vilma will be involved in a huge way. Kevin also melts down over Drew Brees getting the shaft in a hypothetical MVP Race.
Week 1 of the playoffs. Are you in.. Who is a better play LT or Chris Ivory? listen as we put it all together. JD, Misha, Brian and Rick Camacho. 9am -kickoff.
