Boomer thinks the Mets Pete Alonso situation is mirroring the Giants Saquon Barkley situation. Boomer wants him to be a Met and that may be his Mets fandom talking. Gio said all of the major sports websites were leading with Brittney Griner signing with the Dream. Gio said nobody cares about that. C-Lo returns for his final update of the day and starts with audio of Aaron Boone on with BT & Sal yesterday. Evan Roberts wrote multiple poems for his life and read some of them. There was a brawl in the stands during VCU/Saint Louis. The Moment of The Day: Sal is having lasik surgery and is going to milk it. In the final segment of the show, former Colts kicker Mike Vanderjagt said burned bridges from 20 years ago are keeping him out of the Colts Ring of Honor.
Hour 1 Boomer is back today and has a reaction to Aaron Glenn's press conference as he wasn't here yesterday. We talked about the important hires he has for offensive and defensive coordinators. We talked about Pete Alonso and the Mets and how it compares to Saquon Barkley and the Giants. Boomer seems angry at all the money the Dodgers are spending. He said the Yankees will ‘cake walk' into the World Series even though we will be complaining about them in July and August. C-Lo is in for Jerry and is here for his first update of the day and starts with Aaron Boone, in studio, with BT & Sal from yesterday. He talked about losing to the Dodgers and their giant payroll. Hal Steinbrenner also talked about the Dodgers payroll and ‘we'll see who's there at the end'. Mike McCarthy is not planning to coach this year. Looks like Kellen Moore is going to get the Saints job. Dean Blandino was on SiriusXM and said even his brother thinks the NFL is fixed for the Chiefs. The Rangers lost and Boomer is angry. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Liam Coen's history and how odd it is. We also talked about the dominant defense that Steve Spaguolo is running with the Chiefs. Hour 2 We talked about Tom Brady's ownership in the Raiders and the conflict of interest with broadcasting games for FOX. Pete Carroll made it seem like he's going to be very involved. Boomer said this is cause for concern because it's a competitive league and there are jobs on the line every week. How is Roger Goodell not getting involved in this? Boomer said the NFL wants the biggest names doing the games. Anthony in Belleville read an article that said Boomer almost went to the Chargers after his one season doing Monday Night Football. Boomer said he always wanted to play for the Bears. Boomer said he did have a chance to play for the Packers. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with audio of Aaron Boone with BT & Sal yesterday talking about having to discipline or motivate players. C-Lo and Boomer got into the Rangers. BT asked Boone about losing Juan Soto. An ‘astrologist' called into C-Mac to talk about why Pete Alonso and the Mets are not going to work out. And the Rangers lost at MSG last night. In the final segment of the hour, Gio had to pick up 4 prescriptions yesterday for the family and there was an issue. Hour 3 Phil Simms joins us in his usual Wednesday spot. We of course talked about the Chiefs win over the Bills and why they always seem to win the tough games. Phil doesn't like teams chasing points at the start of the game going for two. We also talked to Phil about the Commanders/Eagles game, specifically Jayden Daniels and Saquon Barkley. We also talked about the draft and Phil will be really surprised if the Giants don't end up with one of the top 2 quarterbacks. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with audio from Aaron Boone on with BT & Sal. He talked about the Dodgers payroll and their crazy spending. Jon Gruden talked about players vs ‘playas'. In the final segment of the hour, we got an answer on the NJ drones but it was not a satisfactory answer. Hour 4 Boomer thinks the Mets Pete Alonso situation is mirroring the Giants Saquon Barkley situation.

Anthony Richardson is a huge key to what the Colts are going to be in 2024, but Mitchell is going to give the offense a significant weapon. Andrew Luck's ceremony to induct him into the Colts Ring of Honor would be booed by over 11,000 of 70,000 in Lucas Oil Stadium. Dan Hurley to the Lakers would be bad for the Lakers, and terrible for Hurley. Jrue Holiday is THE biggest difference for the Celtics in its Game One beatdown of the Mavs. Get your sign-up bonus of up to $1,000 today! https://mybookie.website/joinwithKENT Promocode: KENT Here is the link for my book: https://www.amazon.com/Oops-Art-Learning-Mistakes-Adventures/dp/173420740X Learn more about your ad choices. Also joining the progrum is WWE Superstar and former NFL Defensive Lineman, AJ Francis aka Top Dolla to chat about his canned food drive this weekend at the Maryland/Ohio State game, his WWE career, and much more (2:23:51-2:38:14). Lastly, 9 year NFL veteran at Defensive Back, host of the Man-To-Man podcast, Darius Butler joins the show to highlight the best DB play of the week in this week's Everything DB (1:42:03-2:23:29). On today's show, Pat, AJ Hawk, and the boys overreact to everything that happened in a crazy week 10 of the NFL season including the Bills and Vikings playing in arguably the game of the year thus far that had a wild finish, the Packers getting a massive victory over the Cowboys in overtime, Jeff Saturday leading the Colts to a win over the Raiders, they go around the internet and look at some of the overreactions from fans across the league, and all the other storylines around the NFL as we look ahead to tonight's Monday Night Football matchup. Joining the progrum fresh off an incredible victory over the Raiders is Colts Ring of Honor member, and new Interim Head Coach of the Indianapolis Colts, Jeff Saturday. Pat and Jeff chat about all the chatter around him taking the job, what he told the team when he first took over, how much involvement he had in the game planning, and much much more (38:57-56:28). Later, Head Coach of the Cincinnati Bearcats and AJ's former Linebackers Coach at OSU, Luke Fickell joins the show to chat about this season, moving to the Big 12 next year, being the toughest guy in the history of Ohio, his name being thrown in the ring for more high profile jobs, and how NIL and the transfer portal has changed recruiting (1:14:22-1:36:56). Make sure you subscribe to youtube.com/thepatmcafeeshow to watch the show. We appreciate the hell out of all you. See you tomorrow for Aaron Rodgers Tuesday, cheers.
The Colts have fired Frank Reich and hired Colts Ring of Honor member Jeff Saturday as their interim coach. Leger Douzable, Adam Pacman Jones, and Antoine Walker take a look at other teams around the league who might be looking to make changes at the head coach position. Plus, Pacman's Bengals bounce back with a big win and stellar performance from Joe Mixon.
Jeff Saturday is on the program and talks about getting to hit the anvil at yesterday's Colts game. Saturday was impressed by Ehlinger's first NFL start against the Commanders. Saturday breaks down how the foundation of the offensive line is failing new and veteran QB's this season. Jeff speaks highly of the new Colts Ring-of-Honor inductee Tarik Glenn. He believes that Glenn has lots of love for the Indianapolis community and shares a story about Glenn dedicated himself to the team on and off the field. Saturday unfortunately cannot be dressed up for Halloween tonight as he is out traveling. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
(00:00 - 24:51) - The show opens with Marc, Kevin, and Sam introducing their Halloween costumes. Then talk turns sour right away as Kevin and Marc have to re-live yesterday's Indianapolis Colts loss to the Washington Commanders, 17-16. The guys were both impressed with Ehlinger's first NFL performance. The play calling worked well and the game ultimately came down to a dropped pass, and a fumble. Pacers had a great weekend with wins over the Washington Wizards and Brooklyn Nets. (24:52 - 29:16) - Morning Checkdown (29:17 - 44:23) - Kenny Moore tweeted then deleted something cryptic over the weekend. Marc and Kevin hypothesize on if the tweet would indicate he is a prime trade candidate. Kevin and Marc start taking callers who weigh in on the Colts lack of receivers, coaching shortcomings, and trade deadline possibilities. The Colt's stadium was packed in honor of Tarik Glenn getting inducted into the Colts Ring of Honor. Edgerin James, Peyton Manning, and Reggie Wayne all were in attendance. Reich seemingly is losing confidence as this season rolls on. Colts center Ryan Kelly seems to give up on most plays.  (44:24 - 1:09:43) - The second hour kicks off with Kevin and Marc talking about Ehlinger's performance again. Both were impressed with the rookie, Marc ranked his performance a 7 out of 10 in his first game. Both question if he can maintain that level of play against the New England Patriots next week. Calls continue focusing on Frank Reich and the fanbases overwhelming desire for him to be fired. Fans from all over the United States join the show as we get callers from Maine and Texas. Paris Campbell and Tyquan Lewis had opposite end of the spectrum performances last night. Callers start to bring up the "Buy/sell vs. Blow it up" debate. (1:09:44 - 1:26:25) - Goat of the week time! Mark's GOAT is the Commanders Terry McLaurin. Kevin's "goat" is the Bally Sports Network who was dropping the game and audio during their matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. The feed was a major disappointment for Pacers fans across the state. Then the show returns to the phone lines and takes on more disgruntled callers with the Colts performance yesterday. One caller equates the Colts this season to performing as well as the college level IU Football team. Marcus Mariota and the Falcons are leading the NFC South. (1:26:26 - 1:28:52) - Caller gets on to close the hour and discusses the crowd noise being very low at Lucas Oil Stadium this year. (1:28:53 - 1:54:57) - Kevin and Marc recap their views on the Colts and Commanders game then turn it over to the Post-Game Headlines segment where they go over the funniest tweets reacting to the Colts performance. Callers shake things up briefly with some praise for Bennedict Mathurin of the Indiana Pacers. Then talk returns immediately to Frank Reich and the entire Colts office. More talk about Kenny Moore's cryptic tweeting. Bennedict Mathurin is potentially already a starter for the Pacers? Myles Turner's trade value is fluctuating. (1:54:58 - 2:10:39) - Jeff Saturday is on the program and talks about getting to hit the anvil at yesterday's Colts game. (2:10:40 - 2:15:18) - The show closes out with Marc and Kevin breaking down the final drive the Colts had against Washington and what they potentially should have done differently. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
(00:00 - 24:44) - The ghost of Jake Query lives in the studio as fill-in host Marc Dykton can't log in to his computer. World Series starts tonight with the Philadelphia Phillies vs. the Houston Astros. Thursday Night Football was slightly more exciting last night, though that isn't saying much. Brady falls two games below .500 for the first time in his career. Terry McLaurin and Stephon Gilmore should be an interesting duel this Sunday as the Washington Commanders take on the Indianapolis Colts. It's been over a year since some wide receivers have caught a pass from Sam Ehlinger. Jonathan Taylor will have to be on his A game if Sam Ehlinger can't get going.  (24:45 - 29:59) - Morning Checkdown (30:00 - 43:20) - Sam Ehlinger is looking to be the first quarterback since the 80's to win their debut game with the Colts. Ehlinger is trying his best to become a strong arm quarterback. The Colts need to have someone step up in this game against the Commanders to give him some support in his first career start. Kevin thinks there is a better chance that Chris Ballard is here next year than Frank Reich. This is the lowest the Colts franchise has felt since Luck retired. (43:21 - 1:11:06) - Greg Rakestraw makes his weekly appearance on the program to hype up high-school football playoffs happening tonight. He has the call on Carmel vs. Westfield, a competitive matchup. Another big game happening tonight would be Ben Davis vs. Brownsburg. Talk transitions to Sam Ehlinger's start as the Colts QB, Rakestraw fortunately has called all of his NFL career passes so far in the pre-season. Rakestraw was surprised that Ehlinger got the call over Matt Ryan, though he suspects that the Matt Ryan injury report might be true. There can't be any expectations on Shaq Leonard this season given how all the games prior turned out. Tarik Glenn is entering the Colts Ring-of-Honor this weekend.  (1:11:07 - 1:25:52) - Jim Irsay has been making appearances on Washington radio programs recently. Washington's fan base is all aboard the Irsay hype train right now. This is possibly the most positive PR that Irsay has had across the league in his time as an owner. Is all the good faith getting to Irsay's head? Irsay will have the mic at half-time with Tarik Glenn, does he make any comments live to Snyder? Callers start to give their opinions on all things Irsay, Ehlinger, and weather or not it is worth it to blow up the Colts. (1:25:53 - 1:30:22) - There was at least a chance that Matt Ryan could have heated up and made the Colts a playoff team. Ehlinger as quarterback seems more like a hail marry chance that things work out. Marc and Kevin think that there really wasn't any chance the Colts become a Super Bowl  (1:30:23 - 1:58:01) - Radio play-by-play voice of the Colts Matt Taylor joins the program and gives a look into what to expect from Ehlinger's first NFL appearance. A quick run over how to pronounce all the Colts players names. The Washington Commanders apparently have some difficult names to pronounce as well. Taylor believes that this Ehlinger change may be the spot that lights up the rest of this Colts team. Through seven games it is obvious that something needs to change about this team. Taylor draws a comparison between Sam Ehlinger and former IU Quarterback Peyton Ramsey as far as his potential goes. A big question is going to be if Ehlinger knows how to keep a bad play from getting worse and stopping turnovers. Taylor is not a fan of the 4 o'clock kick-off as it breaks routine. (1:58:02 - 2:06:12) - Pop Quiz (2:06:13 - 2:15:32) - Marc, Kevin, and fill-in producer Sam give their locks for this weekends matchups surrounding College Football, NFL, and MLB.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Jim Irsay says it was "very obvious" the franchise needed to move away from Carson Wentz. While he is thankful Matt Ryan was available, Irsay says the team nearly dealt for a young quarterback. Tarik Glenn will be added to the Colts Ring of Honor, and I volunteer to personally take a crow bar and remove one of the names currently in the Ring of Honor to make room for the big fella!
