„We should all be feminists“ hieß die einflussreiche Rede von Chimanda Ngozie Adiche von 2013. Shownotes: We should all be feminists | Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie | TEDxEuston https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg3umXU_qWc Lily Allen | Hard Out Here (Official Video - Explicit Version) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0CazRHB0so Sojourner Truth's “Ain't I a Woman” Performed by Kerry Washington https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry_i8w2rdQY Kat Blaque - What Is: Womanism https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWgOpOkSCOI Alice Chapelle - The death of feminism and the future of activism. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mFvAsu5cjQFür mehr, checkt gern unsere Website. :) Hosted on Acast. FemFreq Radio is bringing you a live one this week! That's right, podcast fans: this week's episode was recorded live at our home away from home in Seattle at Geek Girl Con! After some of our standard "we've forgotten how to podcast" intro fumbling, things get interesting when Anita, Carolyn, and Ebony offer their choices for standout media properties from the past decade. Anita has some choice words to say about a fish; Carolyn refuses to be pigeonholed into CMBYN fandom; and Ebony laments what could have been in a historic small town in NY.Follow Us:Join our PatreonOur WebsiteSubscribe on Apple PodcastsTwitterInstagram

In this episode I talk about navigating the online dating scene -- which is NOT easy. I talk about the lessons I've learned over the years, such as taking the responsibility to get to know yourself better so that you can be an equal partner for the person you’re looking for.
Does everyone feel attraction? Does everyone express it in the same way if they do? How is life different when you don't see a monogamous relationship as the ultimate end goal?
How do we show people we see them “differently”. What's the “nicest” form of homophobia you've ever encountered? Why is it important to be able to have honest conversations with people you work for?
Join Ela, Ash, and Mina is this epic movie breakdown. They go threw the Conjuring series as Ela tries to keep track of all of the films. "Is it possible to have a single word be both your favorite and least favorite at the same time? Feminist is THAT word for me. What started initially as a catchy word to draw traffic for my new company, Little Feminist, has changed my life. And has tested me to my core." This is a quote from the beginning of an article my guest Brittany Murlas published on MEDIUM .com recently. Our interview drills down on the what and why of LittleFeminst.com and the passion that drives. We discuss the BREAKTHROUGH she had in creating the company as well as her personal life.
This week’s episode focuses on Defining Your Own Status Quo. That is the theme of January’s replay the Live and Online:Expression Session workshop. Begin this year in a way that is unique to you and on your own terms. Enjoy! Please note: all silences and pauses that were given for writing have been cut out for ease of listening. If you would like to write along with the workshop, please pause it and start it again when you are ready.
