Pure Delight! In heaven, our capacity to behold and receive God's glory will be different. When we experience God's glory, our own will pale in comparison. Self will seem microscopic and insignificant in light of God's glory, not because people do not matter, but because we will see the God whose image we bear. Worship will be unfiltered as faith becomes sight, and our capacity to take in God's glory will be unhindered by sin because it will be utterly eliminated in light of the presence of our perfect God and Father and the God-man, Jesus. Our experience of the Spirit will be unquenched, and we will live with one another in perfect harmony.

In these chapters we see that the all-wise Creator God does not disclose all his ways to his creatures (Job 28:23). His wisdom is hidden from view, as a cloudy sky keeps us from seeing the stars. But the limits of our perspective do not limit God's wisdom, justice, or goodness. And Job knows God, even though he doesn't know why he suffers so. And the apparent contradiction of Job's life provides us with a pattern that Jesus Christ fills up in the fullness of time. Job's suffering points us to the wisdom of God revealed at the cross of Christ. The Almighty planned for the Son of God—the only truly good man—to suffer the worst fate to save bad people. Jesus Christ is our great Answer. He is the Redeemer for whom Job longed (Job 19:25). He is the mediator who would stand between him and God (9:33). He is the true friend and sympathetic comforter (Heb 4:15–16). He is Wisdom of God in-the-flesh (Job 28:33; 1 Cor 1:30). And nothing in heaven or on earth or under the earth can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Rom 8:35–39). Consider a mirror and binoculars. If a mirror reflects our current situation, binoculars magnify what's far off. In our suffering and our struggles, we need a fuller perspective. We need to look out and up to Christ, our suffering and risen Lord, the Answer in the flesh. As the Scottish pastor Robert Murray M'Cheyne once said, “For every look at yourself, take ten looks at Christ. He is altogether lovely.”

The lament that Job offers up in Job 3 can be divided into two sections by noting the parallelism in the Hebrew poetry. The first section is marked by the repetition of the word “let” throughout (verses 3-10), and the second section is marked by the repetition of the word “Why” (v.11-26). The “Let” section functions as a curse in retrospect that mourns Job's birth; the “Why” section mourns that God has not taken Job's life.

Once you have cancer, it becomes a part of your history, part of the fabric of your journey, part of your story. -Sue Tabb Welcome back to the story of award-winning broadcaster, columnist, PR & marketing pro, wife, mother, and 2-time breast cancer survivor, Sue Tabb. Recorded on a sunny day in my living room just a few hours after Sue got off the air at Magic 106.7, this interview was so inspiring, we just had to make it available to you in two parts. Raised in Westfield, Massachusetts, Sue was the Valedictorian of her class in a largely Irish Catholic middle-class town. At Smith College, she quickly recognized that she was surrounded by girls who were smarter and more worldly than she was. Believing she had made a big mistake in choosing Smith, Sue called her mother and begged her to come and get her. It was this life-changing conversation with her mother that caused a shift in Sue's perspective. Says Sue: “My mother said, I'm not coming. You are smart enough. You are good enough and you can do this. You are just gonna have to work a little harder than the other girls. But don't ever say you're not good enough.” 25 years into her radio career, Sue Tabb is a much-loved broadcaster who devotes her time to many non-profits including breast cancer charities, as well as the One Wish Project. onewishproject.org. Always ready for the next big challenge, Sue shares her bucket list of hopes and dreams in this interview, her deep love for her own daughters, and her sage advice about what success really means. #breastcancer #radio #broadcasting #smithcollege

Breast cancer is a club nobody wants to be in, but it's not a bad club. It's an empowering club. And when you get through it, you realize you are much more resilient than you think you are. -Sue Tabb According to the American Cancer Society: 1 in every 8 women will hear the words: you have breast cancer. The woman you are about to meet has heard those words two times in her life. Sue Tabb's daughters were just little girls when she was first diagnosed with the disease and then, 12 years later she learned the news that the cancer was back. In this interview, the 6-time Gracie Allen award-winning broadcaster shares her story, including the fact that she underwent a double mastectomy alone, at the height of the pandemic, when COVID restrictions forced her husband to drop her off in front of the hospital. Facing this life-changing moment alone set off a sea change in this strong, funny, kindhearted, and uber-talented woman which she shares graciously in this interview. The co-host of Morning Magic on Magic 106.7, www.magic1067.com Sue got back on the air just 3 weeks after her surgery, craving normalcy and sharing her breast cancer story with listeners. Says Sue “If I can get one person who has been putting off that mammogram to get one, then I've done something wonderful. “ A 25-year veteran of Boston radio, Sue got her start on the legendary Kiss 108 working with Marconi Award-winning radio personality Matt Siegel. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Smith College, she is a gifted journalist, former columnist, magazine editor, newspaper reporter and PR/Marketing pro. Recorded in my living room, this chat with a former colleague and forever friend comes to you in two parts. #breastcancer #radio #broadcasting.

Ron Tabb is perhaps one of the most underrated runners of America's golden age of distance running. He finished 4th at the 1980 US Olympic Marathon Trials and 2nd at the crazy deep 1983 Boston Marathon. His 2:09:31 personal record would still be one of the top times in the country. Back then it was different. No super shoes, no fancy watches. And there was little to no attention paid to things like nutrition and strength training. In this episode we talk about how Ron trained himself to a world class level, how legendary coach Bill Dellinger modified his training, and how many of the principles that he followed 40+ years ago is yielding success for the recreational runners he is now coaching. ———————————— Apple:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/... Money and Wealth in Proverbs In God's economy, there are two ways of handling money: the way of wisdom that leads to eternal life, and the way of foolishness, which leads to eternal destruction. Mercifully, our failure to live wisely can point us to Jesus, the Perfect Covenant Keeper and the fulfillment of God's perfect wisdom, who became poor for our sake, that we might be made spiritually rich. We are loved with a very great love!

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Chris Tabb. Chris is the Co-Founder & CCO at LEIT DATA. In this episode he schools me on the modern data stack and gives me a great look into the history of data and data management. He started his career in the Business Intelligence/Analytics domain 30 years ago. Beginning at Cognos in the 90's working in the back office before becoming an expert in all their products, and leaving to become an independent BI consultant in 1998. It is safe to say he loves Data and always hasHe followed the evolution of the analytics industry, working hands-on with all the technologies in the ecosystems: - Databases, ETL/ELT, BI/OLAP /Visualisation Tools, Big Data Technologies, Infrastructure On-premises / Cloud across many vendors, some old some new.Nowadays he works at a more strategic level providing Technical Roadmap, Vendor Selection, Migration Strategies, Data Management, Data & Application Architecture, but still likes to keep hands-on with products in the Data Eco System.Chris's Links:Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/chris-tabb-datatips/?originalSubdomain=ukSki Event - https://skiersindata.com/Leit Data - https://www.leit-data.com/
